@jennifer_louise lol you're cracking me up. The cold water thing I'm a little meh on. Supposedly drinking cold water/foods/beverages disrupts your bodily processes b/c it's those things are cooling to the body. So then the body has to work extra hard to adjust its temp back to normal and supposedly this is disruptive to other more important things the body should be doing. Those who are naturally cold natured (hands, feet, nose always cold) should especially avoid.

Edited because what I wrote made NO sense and I should stop trying to bump while in meetings.
  • @nomangos23 that would explain why I think DH is crazy eating cold pizza and soup :D

Man the TWW is on fire today! I popped in to see what was up and it says 31 unread posts since this morning.

@stephanie123456 I'm sorry AF is looming but that GIF made me laugh.
@jennifer_louise bahaha @ your lemming comment.
@nomangos23 cutting out refined sugars was HUGE for me. Like life changing. I'm trying to wean MF off juice. He was good with giving up soft drinks but he loves his sweetened iced tea. // also, re: cold water, my former acupuncturist (is that a word?) said I should also stop eating raw food. So raw veggies, raw fish (but I love sashimi!), etc, because your body has to work so much harder to process it. Just another reason to claim salad is bad for my health ;)

@b_1029 Agreed, yesterday’s GTKY was so fun!

@kimmer1412 That pic is hilarious!!! Re:FF, I’m also questioning the accuracy of O day. I think mine was 15 or 16 instead of FF’s CD14.

@prpl11butterfly I’m sorry for that diagnosis & for your repeat losses. When you are pregnant do they put you on baby aspirin, progesterone, or Lovenox? I’ve heard that it helps so many with mystery issues to carry to term.

    Month/Cycle: 9/4

    CD/DPO: 18/2? 3? 4? I’m doubting FF’s accuracy this cycle.

    Timing: Excellent!

    Typical LP length: 10-12

Testing: Gonna try to be strong for 10 more days.

R/R: My RE referred me to a new MFM specialist who may know more about my blood-clotting disorders & exactly how to treat. On my way to the first appointment now, hopeful that it’s helpful instead of another dead end.

CS/Q: Not liking the FF timing of these cross hairs due to the info on the OPKs & today’s temp drop due to waking 2 hours early....

Oof, this is a lot of posting to keep up with...on fire today, ya'll.

@kimmer1412 She wears the pull up with great doggy dignity.
@daffodil_shoe Working at a birth center sounds so nice. Sorry about the BFN :(
@keikilove good luck with the new specialist appointment. Fx you get some answers.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1
    CD/DPO: 20/4
    Timing: Good
    Typical LP length: 10-11ish
Testing: Holding out as long as I can.
R/R: Rant - last night on my way home my beats earbuds died in one ear. I have a very long train ride commute and it was honestly brutal. Rave: It's Friday!
CS/Q: Seems pretty straight forward. I excluded one temp that I knew was bonkers.

    Edited because words...again.

  • @keikilove I hope the MFM can help. Keep us updated! Good luck!

@kiki047 Yes I've been reading about not eating raw vegetables. That one seems like a reach to me but I don't eat that many raw vegetables to begin with. Lol I guess I'm picking a choosing which advice I'm going to take.

@inthewoods23 Cold pizza I get, but I can NOT get behind cold soup.
  • @stephanie123456 @inthewoods23 What a great show. I died laughing when they let Ben come on a treat yo self day and he buys the Batman suit 😆
  • DH and I are almost done going through The Office on Netflix for like the.... 7th time. We'll probably switch to Parks and Rec for the... 3rd time. Both shows are great when I don't have the energy to sit through an hour long show (like Westworld! I keep falling asleep in the middle of those episodes! So long!)

@nomangos23 I think DH once ate a Campbell's chicken noodle soup right out of the can.... I make a delicious homemade chicken soup that he barely warms to eat which is okay because my soup isn't loaded with crap ingredients!

  • @inthewoods23 the thought of eating Campbell’s soup out of the can makes me gag.

@emeraldduchess it’s similar to the Ava bracelet but works better for people with erratic sleep or can’t commit to consistent wake times
to temp. It also is said to work for women with pcos. You can also use it to prevent pregnancy. I’ve read good reviews, so I’m hoping it works better for me than manually temping.

  • @littleredm GL! I don't recall if I felt any O pain. I get pains down there but they always seem to be at random times *shrug*. I should probably change my dpo's to dpiui since that's more accurate. Did they say when you would come back to test?

@stephanie123456, your comment about AF being in the house but not yet busting down the door made me LOL. Also, enjoy those fries!!

@prpl11butterfly, big squishy hugs for the unexplained diagnosis.

@kiki047, I 100% support everything you've said about salads being terrible for you. Just say NO to salad.

@nomangos23, your well-done reference made my day!

  • @stephanie123456, I was *this close* to adding a treat yo self gif in regards to your fries tonight, but I decided 4 Parks and Recreation gifs in one post might be too many.

For the record, I was wrong. There's no such thing as too much Parks and Rec!
  • Omg I love all of these Parks and Rec gifs! LOL

@lillywonderland I *am* temping in the vagine, which is why it’s especially annoying that my temps are so mountainous. 😖 woe is me lol

@themadcamel I am DEAD :D:D:D Long live Borat.
  • @kbrown2385- can you remind again of the best way to find the thread that the temp drop review was mentioned vs searching aimlessly???  I did do a search and a few things came up- but not anything I would necessarily consider a "review"- it was more of a mention about the temp drop itself.  I'm intrigued to say the least.....only downfall is I REALLY don't know if I can keep doing this emotionally.....It's been very trying on me and my heart....so waiting for 2 months of data to collect for the most accurate info.....I don't know I can justify the money....
  • @MNturnsVA I tagged you in the thread. It’s in chart stalk/questions for January. I totally get justifying spending that much. I did it myself! I figure after we are done I don’t plan on bc or making dh get a vasectomy so i can use it to avoid as well.
  • @kbrown2385- so you have ordered the temp drop right?  or you have yours already?
