R/R: I decided to follow all the hype and am buying an instant pot today. Having lunch/ shopping with my mama today. I have nothing else going on this weekend, which is normally my preference, but I have been needing to stay busy to keep my mind busy, so I need to come up with something! Limiting coffee/ alcohol is not going well, lol, I had three cups yesterday and a gin and tonic, and today being out, I am certain I will have at least 3 cups again.

R/R: We moved away from a cool house on a river bordering Canada and instead of selling it we decided to keep it and try AirBnBing it. It turns out it's a huge success which is GREAT - except for the fact that now we never get to come! It's always booked up and when it's not it's hard to block off a weekend for us when it means we're losing so much money from someone else. BUT it was open last night and tonight so we're finally getting to stay at our own place today! It's funny because it feels nothing like the house we lived in. We fixed it up so much to rent out and would never have made most of these upgrades just for ourselves. So, I'm having a great time watching Great Lakes Freighters and appreciating this little home and all of our hard work. Kind of like a little staycation! It feels good to relax
CS/Q: Yep, I'm charting. Trying to just chart until O and then put it all out of sight out of mind. The last few cycles really stressed me out too much and I'm trying to take a break from caring this time. I'm not allowing myself any charting, SS or testing until AF. Does anyone know if the Ava bracelet will continue to log everything for my luteal phase and then do one big transmission at the end? Or do I have to transmit every day?

WAYDTGKU: SMEP, or maybe EOD. Last night my hubby was cute. We were cuddling up to watch some Netflix before bed and I rubbed his arm and was like "guess what we're doing after this" and he was like "why wait?". (for the record I did actually make him wait, I don't get much Netflix time)
R/R: Had an uncomfortable TTC moment yesterday. Ran into a coworker in the hallway who I hadn't seen for months. She was like "Congratulations!" and my mind went totally blank and my brain was like "Oh my God, am I pregnant?!?! ". Thank goodness my mouth filter was functioning so I didn't say that but just stood there awkwardly while she tried to think of whatever thing I did to earn congratulations. *smh*
CS/Q: no chart this time, ladies!
@SA0012, enjoy your vacation!!
@jennifer_louise, LOL to your coworker interaction. I had a similar freak out few weeks ago when I received an email from my obgyn and I immediately thought, "Gasp! I'm pregnant!" No. That doesn't make sense. They were just asking me to schedule my annual exam 😂

R/R: it's Friday!!! This is the first weekend in over two months where I have no plans or obligations. I intend to make the most of it. Saturday I want to clean and reorganize a couple closets, and tackle Laundry Mountain. Sunday I will relax and enjoy my clean house by not moving from the couch all day. CANNOT WAIT.
CS/Q: nah
@holly321 - Oooh, maybe try some new recipes in the Instapot over the weekend to keep you busy? Also, RE coffee: Just say no!!
@SA0012 - I love the idea of staying in your own BnB! Enjoy your staycation.
@jennifer_louise - I have random moments of that too. Twinge happens, "I'm pregnant!", no wait I'm still bleeding from AF. What was her congratulations over?
@galentine - Sounds like lovely weekend plans!! My house never stays clean for long.

R/R: Kind of nervous today. My office is doing a documentary on what we do to take to a meeting, and I hate talking in front of people, even if it's just a camera. My boss says it's supposed to be lowkey informal, but I'm still nervous.
CS/Q: No sign of imminent O yet. Looks like this might be a longer cycle.

R/R: My husband and I had a movie marathon over the holidays and my top two favorite films were Bohemian Rhapsody and The Favourite. If you happen to go see the latter, please note that it is not your typical film and people tend to either love it or hate it so you've been warned. Tonight we are (finally) seeing Fantastic Beasts and I might even try to squeeze in Bird Box this weekend as well before all of the spoilers and memes ruin it.
CS/Q: Nothing exciting yet, but BOY are my temps steady now that my vagina's in charge.
Also, in the end she congratulated me on being quoted in Popular Science several months ago. She was like awkwardly listing things "oh, were you promoted? No? Did I see your name on that report? Nope." lol. Overall just a cringey experience
@elle-0409 let me know how Fantastic Beasts is! I was supposed to see it over Thanksgiving but still haven't either...
@SA0012 we have thought of buying a cabin in the mountains and using it as an Airbnb. My husband loves to ski so we would get some use of it it too. I told him we needed to do it with a beach house as well. That way we have a vacation home for winter and summer.
@jennifer_louise I love my Netflix time too. I use it as my crafting time so I can feel like I'm actually being productive.
@gelatine I spent 2 hours yesterday organizing my bookcases. I have a mountain of books and I just got another bookcase for the overflow that won't fit on the other two. I also need to organize a few of our closets and just toss a bunch of stuff we don't need. I keep saying I will do it and then I procrastinate.
@marebear15 good luck on your presentation.
@elle-0409 I enjoyed Bird Box. Definitely watch it soon. It is all over my FB feed now so I'm assuming everyone will be spoiling all the good parts soon.

WAYDTGKU: benched so just waiting for this cycle to end.
R/R: I am ready to decorate my house but I have no idea where to start. I guess maybe I should start with a pinterest board or something. I just get so overwhelmed with everything.
CS/Q: I'm hoping I can confirm ovulation in the next few days. I'm waiting to move to the TWW until I know for sure my temps aren't adjusted back down, taking away ovulation. Yesterday's temp was shifted down .1 degrees but it is still high enough to confirm O with another high temp tomorrow. FX this is it.
@galentine Congrats on a free weekend! Nothing feels better after being super busy! Enjoy!
@marebear15 good luck with your camera time! But... what exactly is it about? How to have a meeting? Is it like a recruiting company or something?
@emeraldcity603 If you don't know where to start and you're looking for inspiration my favorite thing to do is just go shopping. I love TJ Maxx, Home Goods or AtHome type places. I just browse and look around until I find something I absolutely LOVE! Then I find a place in the room for it and kind of build around it. Have fun however you do it!
@SA0012 That sounds like a gorgeous place, and I'm glad you were able to keep it and make it profitable! I live on a lake, and it brings me so much peace.
@jennifer_louise That's so awesome you were quoted in Popular Science! What was the article about? We totally planned out our Netflixing schedule so we'd still have time to BD before a reasonable bed time. I hate it when I try to subtly initiate early and he doesn't get it, and then he tries to initiate after what I consider to be bed time.
@galentine Sounds like a lovely weekend ahead! This is our first one with no major obligations since Thanksgiving, and the first one that MH has 2 days off for in a very long time. I'm so excited!
@marebear15 Good luck at your documentary! I hate talking in front of people too, but I'm in management now so I kind of have to do it somewhat regularly. It's one of those things you can only get better at by just doing it a lot, unfortunately. However, I will say talking in front of a camera is so much worse for me than talking in front of a crowd of people! I had to do it a few weeks ago, and I felt like a bumbling idiot.
@elle-0409 I think we might watch Bird Box this weekend too. If only for the purpose of understanding the memes.
@emeraldcity603 I've lived in my house for 4.5 years and still feel like I haven't really decorated it. I got so overwhelmed too.

R/R: I had a lovely dinner with my first friend I made when we moved to NH 5 years ago. They are moving to DC and I'm happy for them, but so sad to lose such a good local friend. She and I have shared similar TTC journeys and it ended in us crying and hugging in the parking lot, and I'm just going to miss her so much. Also, MH and I had really enjoyable sex last night after I got home for the first time in a while. I was wearing (what I perceived to be) just a boring old tank top and a push up bra and just hanging out waiting for him to finish brushing his teeth and come to bed, and he came in and lost his mind over it. Apparently I need to wear more boring tank tops with push up bras to bed (it came off, so I didn't wear the bra to sleep). Anywho. It was good times.
CS/Q: Still pretty boring. I'm sure I'll ask for some second opinions as I get closer to O.

That's a weird way to congratulate someone...
@emeraldcity603 - Maybe start with one room and figure out what style/colors you want to go for. Then pinterest away!
@SA0012 - It's about my job and what I do. A few other people in my department are going to be highlighted. Then we'll use the video in a company meeting, so that other departments can know what we do and how to work together better on inter-department jobs. So at least I was talking about the job I love!
@shamrocandroll - Yay for exciting sex! Lol, I feel like that is an accomplishment in the TTC world.
@holly321 You're going to love your instapot! Enjoy the time spent with your mom!
@SA0012 That's awesome your place is such a success on AirBnB! Glad you're able to enjoy it finally!
@jennifer_louise So cute of YH! And that's hilarious about your coworker!
@galentine Yay to free time! Hope you have a very productive weekend!
@marebear15 Good luck in front of the camera - that's no fun!
@elle-0409 Enjoy all of the movies!!! I want to watch Bohemian Rhapsody so bad!

R/R: I have no motivation today. But I know I NEED to be productive today lol. DH and I are going to get back into trying to get our basement organized tonight. I'm hoping we can make it fun by playing some good music and having some drinks!
CS/Q: I was a bad girl and didn't temp this month, it feels a little empowering but now I'm regretting it. I have been taking OPKs and I got three mid-range levels in a row so I'm thinking O day is possibly today or tomorrow.

@shamrocandroll I'm glad I'm not alone!
@SA0012 I'm glad to see you recommend one, do you have a crockpot too or is it redundant to have both?
@jennifer_louise what was your co-worker actually congratulating you about? I've had this fear that coworkers/family will think I'm pregnant when I'm not because I've gained 20 pounds this year (UGH).
@galentine nice weekend plans. Ours are similar because I'm finally forcing us to unpack the last few boxes from our move and hang more decor on the walls
@marebear15 good luck with the filming!
@elle-0409 nice watch list. I want to see Bohemian Rhapsody for sure. MH and I are going to watch Aquaman tonight because it seems better than the typical DC movies (so worth a shot)
@emeraldcity603 good luck with decorating. I'm overwhelmed by it too. We moved back in February and have things mostly done but that was only because I would take it literally one room at a time within any given two month period.
@shamrocandroll sorry to hear about your friend, hopefully you can stay in touch.
@brookert615 organizing the basement is a mighty task, good luck!

WAYDTGKU: HIO. My dog ate my thermometer (not homework) so no temping until I buy it again. I'm considering OPKs too but MH wants to keep it less formal for as long as possible
R/R: MH spent all night last night cleaning the house because I had a mini meltdown about the state of the house and work stress (plus cramps made me cranky). He's so sweet and I'll try to remember not to stress out so much or implode.

R/R: My only rant is that I snuck a cookie this morning and my tummy is protesting very loudly about the gluten. Oops. But it was kinda worth it. Raves: Thank you ladies for lifting my spirits yesterday, sorry I was such a debbie downer. Feeling good this morning. Got some rest, we spent a quiet evening working on some wedding details. My bestie is staying over again tonight and we're dress shopping for my bridal party tomorrow morning. Just really looking forward to the weekend, and kinda hoping the snowstorm blowing in will hit us hard Sunday so I don't have to come to work on Monday lol.
CS/Q: Still not much to see, only 3 lonely dots that point to nothing.

@SA0012 your AirBnB sounds lovely! And that's so nice you're finally getting to stay in your own house. Hope you enjoy your little staycation.
@jennifer_louise lol your N&C exchange with YH is too cute. I was on the other side of that exchange last night, trying to seduce MF on the couch and he totally called me out on my procrastination and made me wait.
@galentine your weekend non-plans sound absolutely perfect.
@marebear15 I also hate being in front of the camera, and am even more uncomfortable watching it after. I think that just made my decision about whether to hire a videographer for the wedding a lot easier - I'll cringe watching myself on camera either way so we'll just save a bit of $ and stick with photos.
@elle-0409 dying @ your "vagina in charge" comment hahaha. It really does make such a huge different tho! @nomangos23 & co talked me into it many months ago and I'm so glad I made the switch. // I also really need to see Fantastic Beasts. I wanted MF to watch the first one with me (he's only ever seen the 1st HP film that I made him watch on vacation) then we'd go see the new one. Maybe we should do that soon while it's still in theatres. I'll regret it if I don't see it on the big screen.
@emeraldcity603 FX for O! Your chart is looking good.
@shamrocandroll I agree with mearbear, good sex while TTC is something to be celebrated. Like the spontaneous, sexy kind that we aren't just going through the motions to serve a purpose. // and sorry about your friend moving away, that's so tough. I hope you'll be able to keep in touch!
@brookert615 GL with your basement tonight! Music and some drinks always help.
@marbellie Yay for YH helping out around the house last night. Totally know what you mean about the mini meltdown. I have those periodically too. I'm feeling guilty about doing it but we're hiring someone to come clean once a month to stay on top of things because I think we're both over my meltdowns when things get too stressful and the house is a mess. I just need someone else to clean the bathrooms and dust and clean behind the couches so I don't have to freak out over the mess. MF is a ton of help but our standards for cleanliness could not be more different so even when he "helps", realistically I'm just going to do it over again when he's done
