I've been doing HPT's daily with internet cheapies and I'm still getting +'s, and this morning showed a significant darkening - so I'm hopeful for Friday's numbers coming back at the expected 372+ (still seems so low). My new fear is an empty gestational sac at ultrasound. I'm having a very hard time believing this is really going to happen this time.
I’m so sorry I’ve been absent these past few days! Christen, I can’t wait to hear your results for the upcoming beta!! Kimberly, yes, I have had constant burning, irritation and light menstral cramping. I think I mentioned I had brown spotting last week. Well, yesterday, after taking a walk with the kids, I felt something running down my leg and of course, it was bright red blood. All in my pants and when I wiped. I called the office and the dr saud bleeding is extremely common during this time and that I should wear a pad and monitor. Basically, the bleeding stopped and after that initial incident and I only saw some when wiping during the day and last night. I’m going in today for another Beta and ultrasound, just to make sure everything is ok. Holy crap though. I’ve never had this in my previous pregnancies. Not a gush like what I had yesterday. With the twins, I did have spotting for a few weeks, but yesterday wasn’t just a few spots. I still feel nauseous and pregnant today, so I’m guessing something unexplainable is happening? This process is so hard!!!

@kimberlyshae Yep! I had it on and off. One time I sneezed hard and got a sharp pain, so was totally normal! Eventually, it'll start feeling like a pulled muscle due to round ligament pain. Just a heads up, but it's fine too...just your uterus expanding

This is crazy, especially after your post from today @lindsjacobs but I started bleeding pretty bad about 2 hours ago. I've passed a decent size blood clot. Still bleeding some now but I'm not in any pain. My doctors office closed early today so my only option right now is to go to the ER which I'm not planning on doing. I talked to my nurse and I'm going in for my u/s tomorrow morning. I'm calm and unemotional right now because I know it can go either way. Hubby is a nervous wreck! It's going to be a long night.
@kimberlyshae I’m so sorry you have to go through this. Did the nurse give you instructions on how to monitor the bleeding with pads?

Someone on Instagram just shared this HCG calculator to compare beta levels with expected HCG levels. I'm loving it and it helped set my mind at ease about my low betas. https://www.babymed.com/tools/hcg-calculator
@kimberlyshae thinking of you today love @ChristenMA83 ahh congrats!!! Also check out betabase ... the number itself does not seem to much matter, the doubling time is more important. Good luck tomorrow!
I went in today for my ultrasound. They could see the bleed on the screen but it's not coming from the gestational sac. The embryo is in there... measuring small with no heartbeat. They did bloodwork to check my hcg levels so I'm waiting on those results. They are hoping it's a late implanter but we all know the heartbeat should have been there today. We put 2 embryos in and I had 2 gestational sacs but one was empty. The nurse said the doc was going to push for a d&c but I need to give it a few more days.

@kimberlyshae ugh I am so sorry girl, it's not fair you have to go through this again. How far along should you be vs. what the baby is measuring? The heartbeat does not start until between 6-7 weeks so if it is closer to 6 weeks there is hope. When you are going back? Thinking of you during such a scary and stressful time
I'm 6w5d today. So, it's not looking good. She didn't tell me what the baby was measuring... just that it was measuring small. I'm still waiting on the doc to call me with my hcg results so I'm not sure when I'm going back yet. Maybe Wednesday? I'll send an update after I talk to the doc. I hope everything is going well with you and you can get started soon.

Beta finally came back at 18,000 with my Progesterone rising to from 12 to 17 after increasing PIO. Estradiol levels are fine. Still don’t know the reason for the bleed, but everything seems fine so far. Apparently, HCG doesn’t matter as much as the ultrasound at this point. I’m transferring myself over to my midwife for my 8 week appointment next week and will keep checking back in to see how everyone is doing.

Ultrasound today went well — saw a heartbeat, 145 bpm. I wasn’t expecting to see anything since it was only 6w1d. I cried my eyes out. I never thought I’d get a chance to see that and I cannot believe after 15 years of telling myself I love playing auntie I might get to have a baby of my own.

@ChristenMA83 ahh congrats!!! Also check out betabase ... the number itself does not seem to much matter, the doubling time is more important. Good luck tomorrow!
Happy new year everyone!
