    That is exciting news! I was so nervous after seeing the initial +. I wish this process made me feel more optimistic instead of feeling like the other shoe is gonna drop anytime soon. I can’t wait to see your numbers🥳

  • @onebrightlight FX so hard for you tomorrow!!  <3

    @lindsjacobs
    I go in for u/s on Jan 4th which will put me at 6w6d.  My last FET I went in for u/s at 6w5d so anywhere between the end of 6 weeks and early 7 weeks is normal to me.  The only reason my doc did a 3rd beta on me was because my 1st beta was so low (at 54), he wanted to make sure I was progressing on track.  On my last FET I only had 2 betas because I was at 229 and then 444 so I didn't need a 3rd beta.

    Also... I ran out and got more tests because I was curious about the control line thing...
    Day 19...

    How are you all doing?  I am so excited -- I didn't even care what else I got for Christmas.

    It looks like we all have ultrasounds scheduled for January 3 or 4!

    I'll be 6w exactly.  I have never gotten this far before and I'm not sure what to expect.

  • @elvedon
    I’m so excited for you! They have me scheduled for an ultrasound at 7 weeks (Jan 3), but I’m actually going to forego the ultrasound as long as my 3rd beta results are strong today. They charge $300 out of pocket for the ultrasound and we just don’t want to fork that out. My 8 week midwife appointment is already scheduled and we will be able to listen with her doppler. I’ll be coming back to check on everyone though and pray you have an uneventful and peaceful pregnancy 🥳🥳🥳

  • My nurse just called and my beta was negative. Since my last hsg couldn’t confirm wether I have hydrosalpinx or not I plan to have a bilateral salpingectomy done before another transfer. I’m hoping and praying that is what’s cause my embryos to not implant. I will be lurking until my next fet, good luck to everyone!

    I am excited too.  I'm with you...  I didn't care about presents either.  I just want to see that heartbeat on January 4th (which will be 6w6d) and that will be the best gift ever!  As far as symptoms go, for me, I'm feeling fatigued in the mornings and my boobs hurt.  I haven't had any other symptoms really.  Occasionally I get moody towards hubby but he brings it on himself when he makes me repeat what I just said. LOL!  How are you feeling?  I'm so excited for you!  Any symptoms?

  • @ kimberlyshae Yes I had the Era Biopsy done the month before this fet. The scratch is technically a biopsy, it’s just not sent off and tested, but mine was. My dr sees fluid in my uterus during ultrasound quite often so it’s pretty likely I have hydrosalpinx. I have high hopes the surgery will improve my chances

    Big jump on your third beta!  I got a third done today, too -- the nurse said no problem if it calmed me the #@$^ down -- and I'm a 7150.  I've never seen anything top 100 before so it hardly seems real.  Grow, babies, grow!

    I am paying out of pocket and the package includes ultrasounds -- I'd probably still pay extra to go in a week early, but then, you have done this before and probably have a better perspective. :smile:  An extra week seems foreeeeever to me!

    What made you choose a midwife over an OB?  Have you used her before?  My best friend is also pregnant and using a midwife, but I am leaning toward sticking with a traditional OB.

    @kimberlyshae
    My boobs started hurting really early on, but it's either let up a bit or I'm just used to it.  I am exhausted (luckily I can take naps whenever I want), I pee constantly, and I have had some nausea -- just a general sort of queasy feeling that makes food just not sound good, no matter what it is, and I have to force myself to eat.  (Trust me when I say turning up my nose at donuts is ... not my usual way of life.)

    It's amazing that there are three of us in this group so close together.  I will be a FTM so all of this is very new to me, and I have no idea what to expect.  I think I should be able to see the heartbeat at 6w1d, given that my first beta suggests my bean implanted right away -- but I'm not sure?  I also have no idea how many more ultrasounds to expect before I'm passed off to my OB at 10 weeks.  I'm just excited and hopeful and a big bundle of nervous energy.  I don't know about you, but it's hard for me to concentrate of anything else!

  • What a morning it has been! I had some brown discharge this morning. DH and I had sex yesterday, so I wasn’t sure if that was why. I went in for an ultrasound just now at 5 weeks 6 days and baby is measuring right on track and we heard his heartbeat at 100 bpm. I have been feeling so achy and almost like a burning feeling since last night. It reminds me of what I felt right after the transfer. Is anyone else feeling this? Could it be just from the suppositories?

    With the twins, I delivered in hospital and followed their “high risk” protocol. I wish I hadn’t in retrospect, but they were my first. I pushed for a vaginal delivery and my OB was supportive. With my daughter, I knew I wanted to have a home birth and avoid the hospital if at all possible. My experience with my midwife was non invasive and very peaceful. I am very excited to have another home birth and highly recommend it.

    Yay!!!!!!!! How exciting!!!!! I also experienced some brown spotting yesterday and a little bit today. I've felt a little crampy in the last 24 hours. But I've also had a little bit of heartburn the last few nights. Hoping all of that is good news. I'll find out next Friday❤

    So glad to hear that you have been having the same symptoms. I don’t know if it is cramps, but it feels like what I imagine implantation to feel like. It’s deep and low and is constant. Like it feels as if something is burrowing down. That sounds nuts, but it is a very unique feeling. Or maybe it’s the suppositories? Except I only started feeling this yesterday, could it be the ligaments stretching?

    Yea, it's probably your uterus stretching. I know the suppositories can make you cramp too. I'm sure there's alot going on down there. I think what you're feeling is a good thing. I wish I had an ultrasound machine at home so I could check things out daily. Lol!!

  • Beta 1 results are in

    HCG 41, progesterone 17.  So a positive result, but pretty low.  We have another test Monday to see if levels are heading in the right direction.  Super worried this is going to end up as a CP, but trying to stay optimistic.

    I know how you feel. My 1st beta at 10dp6dt was 54 and in my mind I thought it was going to be a CP but my 2nd and 3rd betas more than doubled. Try to stay positive! Maybe you just had a late implanter.  Do you have any symptoms?

    @kimberlyshae
    Symptoms are tender breasts and fatigue started hitting me yesterday.  It does feel very much like our pregnancy early in 2018 so that makes me hopeful.  I just need a fast forward to Monday afternoon  please.

  • Hello ladies. Not sure if this forum is still active but I decided to share my story and hopefully give someone hope. These forums have been a great support during my journey. I’m 28 and DH is 29, I was diagnosed with pcos last year September after trying to get pregnant for about 6 months. Since I wasn’t responding to the IUI protocol my RE decided to move straight to IVF. Did my first round in June, transfer canceled due to ohss with a total of 8 blasts all Pgs tested including 2 abnormal. First fet in July with a BFP after 8 days, sadly ended in miscarriage around mid August. Second fet in nov, ended in BFN and RE thinks it’s because she had a hard time getting the needle into my cervix. We decided to do a back to back fet in December (last 2 embryos) with cervix dilation 1 week before ET. Transfer was a breeze, she had no trouble going it...BFP with first beta of 800. After spending nearly $60 000 ( thank God I have a great insurance which covers 80% of the cost) we are finally pregnant again which is amazing and scary at the same time. To all the ladies going through some type of fertility problems and having trouble getting pregnant, just hang in there and keep on trying. God will send you your miracle 👶 I
  • @Kriztyn checking on you. Do you have any symptoms yet?

    @purplg8r Do you have a 3rd beta or an u/s date?

  • Little update.. had my 2 days post transfer appt yesterday (12/29) and after bloodwork Dr. called and told me progesterone level was low and to start Progesterone in Oil.. gave myself first shot and now have a bruise and knot in my tush... I think I injected too low so tonight I'll try more on the love handle area. I hate this waiting game, really hoping this embryo sticks.

  • @believe8616 FX for you!  When is your first beta?

    The PIO shots were hard for me to get the hang of, and I had myself limping after a few early ones. Someone else recommended that I massage my butt after with a foam roller and then use a heating pad on low for 10 minutes. It helps me A TON.
  • @elvedon Thank you! First beta is Jan 5. I will definitely try those tips for my next PIO shot.
  • @believe8616 the PIO shots do hurt. Can hubby give them to you? I just discovered last week that if you spread your skin out, it hurts less. My RE told me to give the shot where your back pockets of your jeans hit you on the top outer corner of your pocket. Just a tip if that helps.

    I have a question... what kind of facewash is everyone using? I'm using Rodan and Fields but I know the ingredients aren't safe for pregnancy. So what should I use instead?

  • @kimberlyshae I use Tatcha camellia cleansing oil — cleansing oils generally are safe and i love them. But if you are using Rodan & Fields for acne, I’ve heard Mederma AG is great.

  • BETA 2 in Spoiler

    HCG=93.6, Progesterone = 19.3

    So we're going up and the numbers are doing what they're supposed to...just slower than I would like.  We have another BETA Friday morning.  Boobs are still sore, I'm still fatigued and my stomach is feeling different, but no real nausea.  So more waiting.

  • Is anyone else having mild cramping every day? I've had it every morning and every night for the last few days. Is that good or bad? (I'm 6w2d) I've had some twinges on my left side also. Just makes me nervous.
