Upcoming Appointments: January 17, ultrasound and short visit with doctor
How are you feeling?: Good! No real symptoms other than sore boobs but they aren’t too bad. The only thing convincing me I’m pregnant is the line progression on my FRER’s. I’m hoping the test and control line switch soon, then I *might* stop testing!
Rants/Raves: We already told my parents and siblings since we leave for a trip with them on the 26th and it will be impossible to hide. We are waiting until after our appointment to tell H’s parents and step siblings, but it is hard to figure out how to get everyone together just one month after the holidays without sounding suspicious. We’re working on a plan!
Questions: What are the best apps for taking Bump pics (with the stickers) and for tracking pregnancy? Does anyone do a pregnancy journal? I downloaded a few but not sure I love any of them.
GTKY: What are your holiday plans? What is on your wish list for Christmas (if you celebrate)? We visited with my family for a few days and are spending today and tomorrow with H’s family. Then we are traveling the day after Christmas with my family across the country to spend a few days in CA, just for a vacation. The only thing I wanted for Christmas was this magical BFP!!

How are you feeling?: Pretty decent but sooo many symptoms. And I’m so tired all the time.
Rants/Raves: not really a rant but everything is on sale now so I want to buy maternity clothes but I’m nervous it’s too early. My biggest rave is that I am done exams and can relax now.

We aren’t going home for Christmas so just us this year. We’re doing a canal cruise on Christmas Eve and then a Christmas concert at the concertgebouw. We are telling our families via FaceTime on Christmas though so I’m pretty excited for that. I want an Apple Watch so I hope I get it!

We were so excited to tell my BIL and SIL that we are pregnant because they were too and due 5 weeks before us. Unfortunately, my SIL had a miscarriage. So now I think we will hold off on telling them and do it in a small way.

We are the type of people who keep pregnancy under wraps for a good while (like end of 1st tri at the minimum) and with the holidays this is going to be SO HARD.

This is our 2nd Christmas as parents so we are really looking forward to watching her take it all in. My dad is coming over for dinner. My wish list is all new running gear. Which it seems as though DH has actually delivered this year lol.

We are staying local for the first time ever and I am super stoked. I’m cooking feast of the seven fishes tomorrow (my husbands fam is majorly Italian catholic) and the in-laws are coming to visit through Christmas.
We we don’t exchange gifts for Christmas so no wish list here.

How are you feeling?: Tired, very tired. I've also started having some nausea in the evenings.
Rants/Raves: My second beta was today and came back at 874 so I am so happy about that. Rant- MH is driving me crazy asking every 5 minutes if he can tell everyone yet!

Still haven’t scheduled. For some reason the more kids I make the less I want to go see the doctors. MH is chomping at the bit to get me in so we can see the bean.
How are you feeling?:
Eh, this time around seems worse than the other three. I’m not sure if it actually is or if chasing three boys 5 and under while decidedly nauseous is just heightening the experience. Women survive this right?
Rants/Raves:
We announced to my side last night at family Christmas. My brothers and my father rolled their eyes. It stung a bit. But my mom is super excited because it’s another chance to have a granddaughter (bit of an eye roll) she loves the boys though so I try to be positive. My grandmother was so excited it threw me. She’s also team ‘please let this one be a girl’ but her excitement was so contagious that it broke the tension from the men in my life.

Staying home. My parents live 3 miles down the road from us. MH parents live 3 states away (gigantic praise hands) so we have family Christmas on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is for stockings, sleeping and overeating on all the leftovers from the night before.
I don’t expect presents anymore. I love to make Christmas special for our boys and we try really hard to emphasize family time and experiences. They definitely still get toys but very few and lots of them are homemade. So I guess my wish list this year was that they enjoyed the season and I think they did!

How are you feeling?: Tired and nausea at night but mostly ok, boobs hurt every so often
Rants/Raves: FTM, so really excited but also nervous and hate all the waiting involved during 1st trimester!

How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Feelin not pregnant a lot of the time which is always a mind-f, especially being PGAL, but I'm just trying to take it one day at a time.
Rants/Raves: My office is closed this week. I am in today for a few hours, but I am so thankful for this time off!

GTKY: What are your holiday plans? What is on your wish list for Christmas (if you celebrate)? We traveled to my parents' on last Saturday and came home yesterday. It was really nice for them to get to spend some solid time with DS. I didn't have much or a wish list, but I did get a pair of amazing slippers!
