-Ages? 2, 4, 6, and 8yrs old
-How are your other kids doing? They are getting over being sick again. That paired with bad weather and they are crazy messes.
-Concerns/Questions? My 2yr old has been the "baby" and very much acts like it, though he is getting much more independent lately. It's going to be interesting to see him react to this baby.
-My 4yr old confused the heck out of me a while back asking for alligator?? Turns out he wanted Gatorade...
-My 2yr old was being a turd and I told him to "Knock it off, kid". He told he wasn't a kid. He's Russell Muscle. (the nickname we have given him lol).
-oldest two have been defiant turds lately. I'll think of something cute or funny later maybe.

Pissed at the bank because DH deposited his last paycheck by phone Friday night (we live in Alaska, no branches for Chase in this state) and it still has not cleared yet. Waiting to see if we need to pissed with his employer instead.

How many kids? Ages? One daughter, she’ll be 3 on the 1st of February
How are your other kids doing? She’s good! Starting preschool part time in less than a month which is nerve wracking because she doesn’t do well being separated from me so I think it’ll be a hard transition. She’s super excited for Christmas this year and I can’t wait to see her reaction to everything this year!
Rants/raves: She’s going through a defiant time lately where she’s been testing boundaries which has been exhausting but overall she’s such a good kid I feel bad complaining lol
Concerns/questions: slightly concerned with how she’s going to handle all the adjustments, going to preschool part time and preparing for a baby, then how she’ll do when the new baby comes and she isn’t the baby of the family anymore.
GTKY funniest things your kids have done lately? I told my daughter we were going to the mall the other week but first we had to pick up something at my grandmas so my daughter called her great grandma to tell her we were on the way and she said “grandma I’m disappointed because I’m ready to go to the mall but we’re coming to your house so I’m not impressed with mommy”. I know the exact quote because I couldn’t quite believe she said it! At least she’s in touch with her emotions!

I think she knows we move her elf and leave notes for her. The other day she told me she was going to go potty and she would really like to have a note waiting for her when we got back.

He's picking phrases like "wait a minute..." and using them at the funniest times.

How are your other kids doing? They’re good mostly, ornery, but good.
Rants/Raves? They never leave anything alone. They almost killed their fish today because they wanted to pet it 🙄 it was almost a disaster.

We havent told family yet. But my oldest seems to be dead set on letting the cat out of the bag. He’s walking around telling everyone there’s a baby in my belly, and also in his belly, while pushing his belly out as far as he can 😂 good thing my sil is 6 months along so I can blame it on her until we announce in a couple of weeks on Christmas.

Concerns/Questions? Any moms with 2u2 want to share some advice/helpful tips? We were definitely not planning on having our second so quickly! They will only be 14 months apart!
He has just started saying dada and it's the best. I'm not even mad that dada came before mama since I know that's how it usually works. He's also very deep in his blowing raspberry phase.

How many kids do you already have? Ages? 2. Daughter will be 6 next month and my son turned 4 just before Halloween.
How are your other kids doing? Ok, the last week and a half they have been acting up. Not sure if it's the holidays and the thought of another sibling setting in, but I'm hoping it's a phase that ends soon. It's unlike both of them.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? GTKY: Not really, asides from trying to move into a bigger house with some more space. Ours is cramped and we wanted to move before we found out about #3
What's the funniest thing your kiddos have said or done lately? Or cutest thing? My 4 year old son told me the baby is a girl. I told him I couldn't promise that and it might be a boy. He said ”No, its a girl!”. I told him again, that it might be a little boy. He then walked up to me put his finger over my mouth and goes ”Shhhh, don't say that Mommy its mean”.
Concerns/Questions? I'm an only child, so this sibling thing will be completely new to me. I'm nervous that I'm somehow less prepared to manage sibling relations, since I don't have a sibling myself? Is that weird?
I am also an only child and have had the same thoughts!
currently have one daughter, she turned 4 today... I’m having ultra hormonal feelings over here around it
She’s a gem and super excited to be a big sister. Obviously she makes me crazy here and there, but she’s smart and kind and I like her a lot.
Rants/raves: I’m so glad next baby isn’t a December birthday. This month has been insane already with the presents and treats and obligations. I’m so tired I’m not enjoying most of it.
Concerns- Margaret falls asleep in her room but every night comes into our bed at some point. I can’t decide if that’s worth addressing before July. I mean, maybe next trimester

Cute stuff? Im awful at remembering these moments, but lately she’s been rattling off a list of things she loves me more than- tonight was chocolate ice cream, the moon, her studies and daddy 😂

I wasn't sure what Anti-M was, but quick research seemed to indicate if the baby did have it an issue it was something that could be at least addressed swiftly after birth.
Ages? 3, 4 in February
I see there’s a few others with a big (3+ years) age gap too. How are you guys feeling about it? Did you plan for that gap, we didn’t we’ve been ttc for three years but now I’m feeling ok about it.
This gap was more or less planned. I struggled a lot with PPD after having DD and needed to make sure I was 100% ready to do this again! I didn’t expect that to take 3 years....but it is what it is!
I’m actually excited about the gap because I know DD will be a big help and won’t have to deal with double strollers etc.
Our other two are 21 months apart born in Jan 13 and Oct 14. My other two can play nice but are usually telling each other to stop looking at them and arguing about something ridiculous. 🙄
Now though I’m happy about the age gap, DD will be in preschool part time so i’ll get quality alone time with baby like I had with DD and when the baby is 1 and getting into everything my daughter will be in kindergarten so it’ll definitely be easier on me this way.
