Haha, I totally meant to actually post something to start things off, but then kids starting needing things and I got distracted...prime example right there of why this board is so quiet, I'm sure.

- I think bacon is DISGUSTING.

-I'm still salty about my brother swooping in the day I announced my pregnancy to family to announce that he & the woman he cheated on his ex-wife with are also expecting a baby. Maybe I shouldn't be so pissy about it? But I am(for layers of reasons) and I've definitely giving them all a cold shoulder for it.

But for reals on your brother, that was bad form on his part, but I'm assuming he's selfish because in my opinion cheaters are selfish people.

@wildcosmiclove I always have to read your name over and over. Even though I figured it out, it took me a long time to get what Wild Cosmi Cloves were - some wild clove I've never heard of? But now I will always see it that way.
I love bacon and yea I'm with @gollygeeitsamy, I'd assume if your brother cheated he probable doesn't totally understand social graces.

@wildcosmiclove your brother sounds like a real piece of work! Mine isn't the greatest either :-/ I just found out last night that he put me on his visitors list. (He's currently incarcerated in our county jail till his court trials are over and he can be shipped off to prison.) So now apparently, I have to be the bigger, little sister, and go give him some sort of pep-talk. My pregnancy hormones make me really not want to tolerate his mommas-boy-self but for some reason I still have a modicum of empathy for the idiot.

@snowhite12 As horrible as it sounds, my boyfriend and I will joke around that we are lucky to only have one crazy grandma to deal with. His mom passed away last year but my mom is such a crazy Mimi that I don't think we could have handled another one!

Lets see... Oh my FFFC is that I've been secretly letting my young boy cat get locked in the back of the house at night with one of my nieces female cats and neither of them are spayed/neutered. I checked on the young girl cat, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one pregnant in this house now! Not sure why I feel the need to create MORE work for myself because I know I'm the only one that will really take care of them but I wanna play with babies so bad even if they are just kittens! (I'm slightly salty her litter will be here before my baby though. That math just isn't fair.)

My FFFC is I think I'm going to go "work from home" for the rest of the afternoon in a few minutes. Half my team (including my boss) is out on PTO, and the other member left at like, 12:50 to go work from home without saying anything (including no, hey have a nice holiday break, k, bye bitch). I'm exhausted from being up early worrying and I want to be home on my couch working instead of sitting here.

Oh, this is a FFFC because I plan to do it without getting permission from anyone.

FFFC: I tie everything I want to convince DH to do (think: check out the farmer’s market, stay at an Italian agriturismo) to some entrepreneurial idea he’s hatching. It totally works if I call it research.

Totally feel you on that one, @wildcosmiclove. My brother and his wife announced they were pregnant with their second kid at my baby shower for my first. I try not to be grumpy about it because they live 9 hours away from the rest of the family, so it made sense if they wanted to tell in person, but still... could've maybe waited until the end of my shower at least?

My UO - I'm pretty over the ugly Xmas sweater parties. Like cute and all - especially when they weren't meant to be ugly sweaters, they were just from the early 90's hah. But some of the ones they're making up now is a bit of a stretch or just trying to be ugly for the sake of it. H and I have a couple ugly Hanukkah sweaters so we won't feel left out though, so a bit hypocritical there....

My SIL when arguing with FIL over the summer told him he should be nice to because she's the only one who will give him grandkids. I was going through testing at the time with a fertility specialist because H and I had been TTC for two years.

She's pregnant too now and about two weeks behind me. I will be pissed if she gives birth before me. Cunt.

In the interest of, slightly spicy FFC, I think second showers, self hosted showers and display showers are tacky, I don't want to be the drama bitch so I generally keep opinions to myself on the board.

Confession, I wanted to strangle DH today on our road trip back from the inlaws. I took a week of vacation to drive 10 hours 1 way down to his home town, 6 nights in a hotel cause MIL said we couldn't stay at grandmas, and because I'm usually not home during the week DD wants mommy to do everything (get her dressed, change diapers, read mouse count for the 4th time, ride in the back seat with her...). So when I reminded him we had to stop every 2 hours for me to stretch and pee, he got mad. Those are doctors orders you ungrateful ass-hat!

I am sick of super hero movies. Their story line is so small that it could be shown in a 30m tv show and the rest of the time is giant battle scenes that are super boring.

I pretend to be asleep sometimes in the morning so hubs will get up and go do breakfast with our 3yr old. And then I putz about online or on here.

FFFC I had two cups of coffee and a beer tasting today. I’ve also existed mostly on cookies for the past week. What pregnancy diet? That’s what January is for.
