I've safely made my 250-mile roundtrip and am sitting, exhaustingly at my desk, trying to tackle some work while I wait for the results. For better or worse, my clinic closes at noon, so I should get my results back "early." The office I go to for most of my appointments is about 25 miles away from the main office and they don't normally bring all the vials to the main campus for processing until 9:30-10:00 (the traffic is HORRIFIC, too). So FX and trying to not fall asleep while I wait.
@firstivfoct2018 - Sheeeesh, that sounds really uncomfortable. Hopefully, it all resolves very soon.

@mico2019 Im well Morning sickness has definitely set in But it’s not that bad for me some women have it way worse so I don’t really want to complain other than that just really tired. How are you doing??
So my wife had horrible cramps, nausea and diarrhea late last night. Bad enough she had me call the Dr at 11pm....
Luckily he's a super nice guy and said it's probably stomach related. He had us stop by this morning anyways to do a 3rd hcg test, check progesterone and do a vaginal ultrasound to make sure embryo implanted in the correct area. I think my wife needed to have her mind eased.
Ultrasound confirmed gestational sac was in correct spot and doing just fine and blood test came back good hcg was 11,xxx and progesterone was over 40 so he said everything was perfectly fine. I think my wife was just so worried because she had dinner with one of her good friends earlier that knows what we are doing and her friend has 2 kids and was saying "be careful if you get severe cramps it could be a miscarriage" I think my wife just got freaked out. Im just happy all is well.
@murph145 Oh no how scary! So glad everyone is okay. Hugs

HPTs yesterday and this morning (9dpt & 10dpt) are both negative. I'll keep testing up until Thursday but I'm not going in for Beta, I went in last month knowing it was negative and it was horrible - it would be worse this time as this was our last embryo (and betas are optional at my clinic). We're both devastated, we just don't understand why the first 2 transfers I had would stick (if only for a while) but these last 2 were just no-shows. Honestly though - I don't care about finding out why - I just think I'm done. I don't think I can keep doing this. We've been TTC for 7 years, seeing a specialist for almost 5, been doing IVF for 2. I'm sick of this whole process ruling my life and me having nothing to show for it. My own life has to be worth more than this.
I'm sorry to be such a downer. Thank you everyone for you love and support during this journey. I wish you all the best success and happiness in your journeys

Thank you all so much for the hugs. I had a hard time processing the chemical pregnancy over the weekend but I did some pampering, date night, some wine and I guess I accepted it now. I’m thinking to try again this next cycle, and my RE is thinking to do a natural cycle partially since I had such a horrible reaction to the pio, so that may be a silver lining.
roisis, major hugs. Ivf can really take over your life and it’s so disappointing when it doesn’t work. Let me know if you want to talk.

@suzycupcake major congrats on the 2nd beta results.
@MamaK225 Thank you. No the little one was not PGS tested. We didnt have that many to begin with to justify the cost. We transferred two and one stuck. We have one frozen embie left.
AFM- I’m looking forward to my ultrasound on Thursday! though I’m a bit nervous. We put in 2 embies and my husband stated the other night “I do not want twins”. I’m like it’s out of my control now. It is what it is🤷🏽♀️
@suzycupcake - WOW! Talk about a healthy doubling rate!
@teenad82 - Bless his heart ... like there's anything that can be done at this point Hope you're still feeling good ... only one more sleep until you get your first peek!
@mico2019 - We didn't PGS test either, but was more science-/evidence-based than monetary (though $4,000 when it's 100% out of pocket isn't anything to sneeze at!). So happy for you that you had success

Hope everyone is doing well. We go back to our RE this Friday morning for our 6W ultrasound just to make sure everything is still on track. These PIO shots are crazy I am not sure how you ladies can handle them! I am already tired of giving them to my wife nightly haha, I could only imagine how it feels to be on the receiving end of one.
My wife had really bad cramps last Friday night (to the point she was hunched over for 30 minutes and really worried) so we went to the RE's office Saturday morning for standard Hcg and Progesterone blood test which were spot on perfect and they did a vaginal ultra sound too and luckily everything was good he seems to think it might have been something she ate. She did go out to lunch and dinner that day with friends so who knows..... It really did scare her tho but I am glad the Doc allowed us to come in and reassure her all was good.
@murph145 - Your poor wife! I will say, I remember my first successful FET and the most common things would make me so sick and/or make me cramp up ... so try to keep as bland of a diet as possible. I even got severe stomach cramps from drinking sprite ... SPRITE! The thing that most people drink to relieve stomach issues. It only lasted a few weeks for me (from 7-12), so just something to consider - and something I am doing, myself. Hormones are in flux and there's a lot going on, which is responsible for most of the turmoil. It's completely normal Good luck on your U/S tomorrow!
AFM, just trusting the process and moving along. We have an U/S next Monday, I'm assuming to see the gestational sac. And after talking with the nurse, it's just one or two more U/S after that, so I'm looking forward to ditching the 4+ hour roundtrip each of these visits take. No other issues (e.g. exhaustion, nausea) to report on except for a large decrease in appetite; I'm just trying to make sure my food/meals have plenty of protein and good fats.

@teenad82 MH was the same way!! When our betas were coming back really high he was majorly freaked out that our one embryo split lol honestly I was too but deep down I knew our chances were slim with only one embryo. When will do you go for your u/s to find out??

@mico2019 Im well Morning sickness has definitely set in But it’s not that bad for me some women have it way worse so I don’t really want to complain other than that just really tired. How are you doing??
Hope everyone else is enjoying their Saturday.

It is what it is🤷🏽♀️
@teenad82 - Bless his heart ... like there's anything that can be done at this point Hope you're still feeling good ... only one more sleep until you get your first peek!

@murph145 Glad to hear your wife is doing better! Its definitely scary!
@teenad82 MH was the same way!! When our betas were coming back really high he was majorly freaked out that our one embryo split lol honestly I was too but deep down I knew our chances were slim with only one embryo. When will do you go for your u/s to find out??
