R/R: my team got a huge curveball thrown at us in a 4-6 pm meeting yesterday and we’re going to have so much to do before our 2 pm deadline on Friday. Nothing like leadership planning ahead and agreeing on something before the last second 🙄 so sorry in advance if I post and ghost today.
Rave- even though I’ll probably have to work after, DH and I have a Christmas party tonight for a local organization and I’m excited to get semi dressed up (and eat apps!) with him.
CS/Q: huge temp jump this morning. I’ve never been over 98 but was always temping orally. I’m not sure if it’s due to tossing and turning or not though, I’m stressed about work!

CS/Q: Temp went way up this morning. If my body is trying to mess with me after yesterday's BFN, this is NOT funny.

R/R: Moms are the best! Had so much fun chatting with her. She's definitely one of my best friends and I love her so much! On another note, DH told me he got me a Christmas present! Could it be the Ugg slippers I’ve been asking for the last 2 years?? Lol.

R/R: Since I have absolutely no symptoms (PMS or otherwise), I'm not going to test. I agonized about it because of my trip (I leave tomorrow morning!) but it doesn't seem likely so I'm gonna get my drink on and forget about it. My other semi-rant is that I was screwing around with FF last night, trying different analysis methods on old cycles and whatnot, and because of that it changed AF's arrival date to Monday (it was Sunday before)... so really, testing seems futile. And I'm a miser and don't want to waste a test.

R/R: I am in a funk these days and I wasn't too nice to my H this morning.
CS/Q: looks like I had an estrogen surge today. It usually doesn't happen but I have only been charting for 5 months so this could be totally normal. My body is messing with me this cycle!
10/2018: MFI (2 SA under 9 million/ml)
11/2018: HSG shows right Fallopian tube slightly damaged
1/2019: Husband diagnosed with grade 3 varicocele
4/05/2019: varicocele repair surgery
6/13/2019: BFP!!! EDD: 2/22/2020
7/18/2019: Total Motile Count at 3 months post surgery = 51 millions!! (number must be >20 millions to conceive naturally).

CS/Q: Very confused by my chart as I had a clear temp shift and + OPK, but no EWCM until yesterday. I’m wondering if it’s estrogen increasing before AF? Anyone else experience random EWCM before AF?

R/R: Sorry to be negative, but I only have a rant today. There was a death in DH's family on Thanksgiving so we went out of state for the services. There's also been drama at work with another teacher on my team. We're currently undergoing mediation with the principal to resolve things. Not going to get into the full details, but my coworker's inability to handle stress and emotions appropriately has caused many issues. The good news is that my preconception appointment went well, but the bad news is that my insurance will not cover full carrier screening even though my doctor gave me codes for adoption and unknown family history to give them. The good thing is that my stress levels have been getting a little better and I'm happy to be back on the board (if y'all even remember me after my hiatus

@lcking82 ugh, that was the worst thing about working in an office - no one leaves you alone, even when your door is shut! I hope you get some peace on what's supposed to be your day off.

I just recorded some watery CF in FF and it changed my O date again and took my solid crosshairs away.

@misshelen86 I have gotten random EW or watery CM before AF. I think sometimes you get a random estrogen surge in the middle of the TWW, at least I have several times but not always. Hopefully the stores aren't too crowded later and you can get your shopping done!
@stephanie123456 ugh don't you just love how people forget how to drive in any sort of weather? I paid for VIP but I'm not sure how "worth it" it is...I just love looking at all the data. There are definitely other ways you can mimic some of the VIP features, just takes some effort (I'm lazy lol)
@lcking82 boo that's so lame you have to work on your day off! I'm sorry! I would guess you're mouth breathing since 5DPO is early for any sort of large drop (I think? Not a chart expert though)

Same thing with "triphasic" charts. They tell you that these charts could mean your are PG but their study found out it happens at the same rate whether you are PG or not.

What is different about it? If you're tracking your BBT, doing OPK... how does it help? I've been reading the success stories on their website and it looks like it's almost like a miracle solution. I need to know more!

More thoughts....You know...the other "kicker" might be the EOD begining on CD8. For someone who is not used to tracking or OPK'ing, they might count on just HIO once OPK turns, but then you've missed several fertile days. So the SMEP makes you much more likely to get in those -4, -3, or -2 days, too.
@rikiteacup I read those testimonials too and I found them a little bit hilarious. I think the main advantage of SMEP is that it takes the guesswork out of timing, so it relieves a bit of stress. I would say it's not much different than just trying to HIO a lot during your FW.
I'm sure for all the "first try" testimonials there were 10 that were like "Uhhh it still took me months/years on SMEP". So although I really really wanted to believe the testimonials, I took it with a grain of salt.
