How are your other kids doing this week? We have a walker, you guys!!! She started really walking last night... and then she wouldn't stop walking.

How are your other kids doing this week? He's doing pretty good. He still doesn't really get the new baby thing. My brother and his fiancé had a baby in October so when we talk about it he just asks where Baby Coop is. He is super gentle with Coop though so that's good.

@mrsdee15 YAYYY!!!! So exciting! Here are some bonus memes for you lol. Seriously though it's so much fun seeing them start walking around. My son did the gorilla walk first where he had his hands up like he was gripping fingers still.
How are your other kids doing this week? She is so cute sometimes and a total terror others. She wants what she wants when she wants it which obviously isn't feasible or good for her so we're dealing with tantrums.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Rant/Rave: I feel kind of like a jerk b/c DH is great with my modified bedrest overall and he's been taking MOTN wake ups which have been not, awesome. I tell DH what he should be doing to sleep train her (don't pick her up!) since she's out of her leap but I'm not the one in there/still really need my sleep. He's not being firm on not picking her up (which I could probably do better so maybe I need to just suck it up). Anyways, she woke up at 4:30 and our rule for idk how long has been that she can't have breastmilk until 5am, so he leaves our door open in our tiny apartment so I'm awake from 4:30-5 while she's fussing, then brings her in to eat and she nurses until 6:10!! She was dozing off and on like a newborn but I couldn't sleep. Then he gets annoyed when I wake him up and ask him to get up with her but realizes his mistake when I tell him it's 6:10 (and obviously it's implied that he just slept for over an hour). He woke me up at 7:30 and then is going on about how he's going to be late. Well wake me up earlier, you idiot. We haven't set an alarm since having DD basically.

He's great. I've been sorting his toys for the move: pack, toss, donate. At first he was having trouble with toss and donate but I told him donate was for other boys and girls who don't have as many toys and he started putting things in there. Including a large pile of Pokemon cards (his most prized possession right now). I'm one proud momma.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Hmmm. He was really excited to move, but as we get closer to the actual move, I worry with how he's going to transition into the new house and if he's going to like it. Also starting to worry about how he's going to do when the baby gets here and is crying. He has a lot of sensory issues with noise. I think I'm going to buy a few sets (we already have one) of noise cancelling headphones and maybe make a little quiet area in his own room for when baby is crying. I don't know. Is that too much?

How are your other kids doing this week? Sickness is moving it’s way through our house. It was inevitable (from what I’ve heard the schools have been terrible, and my SIL works in the PICU of the children’s hospital where we used to live and said all their beds are full of very sick kids) but it still sucks. I’m starting to get it now. @DuchessOfCambridge I should have started the Elderberry syrup a couple days ago but was more focused on the kids I didn’t even think to. Started last night at the first sign of a throat tickle. I’ll let you know how it works for me.
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? DH and I are arguing over how to handle school this week. DD2 is acting totally fine but I’m 99% sure DD1 has the flu so it seems inevitable that DD2 will get it. I think it’s irresponsible to send her to preschool knowing that she’s likely carrying the virus even if she hasn’t started showing symptoms, he thinks I’m being overly cautious and that if she seems fine I should send her.

How are your other kids doing this week? He's doing well, cruising alllll the time
Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? Diaper changes are what nightmares are made of right now. We've had a rough two days and tomorrow I want to be a better mom. I want to work harder at ways to make diaper changes tolerable and do some more play-learning. I worry all the time I'm not doing enough, especially when I see what other 12 mo are doing. I don't know how much of that is me or DS's level of cognition (seemingly unaffected by stroke as of what we can currently see) but I do know I could work harder.

i couldnt choose just one!
-Letting him play with things he doesn't usually get (diaper cream, random toys, wipes, etc)
-Letting him watch something on my phone
-Letting him have my phone
-Singing
-Pinning him down with my feet (lightly) on his shoulders, obviously this includes much screaming
-Standing changes, but he's not good enough at standing for them yet, he just buckles and sits
-Being really really silly and funny about it, which worked okay yesterday but still involved some screaming

Rants/Raves? Concerns/Questions? I really need to get myself back to working out. I was doing triathlons before getting pregnant and I've been enjoying some time off, but I'm starting to feel glutenous with this increased hunger and not going to the gym. I think I'm done with running for the remainder of the pregnancy, but it would be great to get back to swimming. Just need to find the motivation!

Good they have been so cute lighting the candles and playing with their gifts for Hanukkah. They are really starting play together and it is the sweetest thing. I can’t wait for new baby to join the fray.
