So before I found out I was pregnant DS would constantly say "baby" when him and I were together. He was ONLY saying it when he was with me. I took a test and yup, pregnant. Over the past two days he's been saying, "baby come." I sure hope not! I have almost six weeks left. I keep having a feeling she will come early, but I hope not this early. I was thinking maybe a couple days early. Fingers crossed she keeps cooking.

My appointment was early, so I ran errands on that side of town since it's finally not too hot & humid to be out for a few hours. By the time I got home I saw that all of the stuff I've ordered lately all arrived today and the dining room is full of boxes! It's a little overwhelming, but nice to know that I have a lot of gifts that just need to be wrapped up and shipped back out...so I know what I'm doing tomorrow!

@AdorkablePixie how crazy!! I've always been told kids seem to have a sixth sense about things! With my first, I didn't find out until I was 7.5 weeks pregnant. I think I was in denial (we weren't trying), but I'd only had one symptom that tipped me off at the time (sore nipples). On 4th of July my cousins step son (7 I think? Maybe 6) gave me a hug and patted my tummy and said something about "hugging the little baby in there". I of course went, "oh no! No baby, I'm not pregnant" and he just kind of shrugged and moved on. Mentioned it to coworkers, who got me to reveal the sore nips, along with nausea I'd been having and sleeping practically 24/7, so they convinced me to get a test because of all that. Essentially the final straw was my cousins step sons comment, he knew before I really did!! For your sake though, I hope DS is just getting excited about his sibling and that baby cooks a few more weeks!

@AdorkablePixie @CecilB93 That is crazy that kids were able to sense your pregnancies like that! I know they say that little ones can sense things like that and I wonder if it applies to the gender of the baby. I would be shocked if our baby is a girl, but DS (2.5) consistently says it’s a girl/ sister and has for months now...

@katy0990 DS kept saying sister/girl but this baby is definitely a boy based on the ultrasounds lol.

My son does the same thing. We are team green but if you ask him (3) he is having sister. I wouldn't be surprised if people bought us girl stuff because he acts so sure.

I think they're great at knowing you're pregnant but not so great at knowing what it is. I think they just say what they are hoping it will be. lol It is crazy how some kids can sense that sort of thing. I have a friend too who had a child tell her she was pregnant before she knew she was.

I have been super MIA the last 2 months and I’m so sorry about that!
I started a new job and things got super crazy at home and the bump fell to the wayside.
