1) How far along are you? 35+6

2) Any appointment updates? Nope, next one is next Monday at 36+5. I think that’s when my OB will start checking for dilation.

3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? Pelvic pressure & pain is killing me!

4) GTKY: What bends your mind every time you think about it? That I’ll soon have double the amount of children! DD is so excited!

@Erinka I'm having lots of pelvic pain/ discomfort too. It's going to be hard going another 4 weeks

It is crazy we will have babies so so soon!!!

1) How far along are you? 36+1

2) Any appointment updates? Thursday I go for the growth scan. Hoping baby is measuring normal and not giant, as we all suspect she may be.

3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? I just want to empty my bladder OMG! I seriously feel like I am going to explode.

4) GTKY: What bends your mind every time you think about it? Hubby and I are going to be PARENTS in less than a month! Holy cow. I don't think either of us has actually allowed this reality to fully sink in yet.

39w check up today with membrane sweep. They will discuss induction possibilities if I go past 40w.

Finally got the house officially done. Bassinet is up next to the bed, old mattress and box spring were put in the trash this morning, we have completely cleaned every room and are ready to bring little girl home.
4) GTKY: What bends your mind every time you think about it?
That I grew a (another) human being. What once was just a bunch of cells is now an actual baby. And my body did that.

Went to the midwife yesterday and they checked fundal height and heart. They also did the GBS swab which I wasn't expecting until next week. I am now on weekly appointments.

3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary?

Rant: When DH stored the carseat he put the stroller on top of it, breaking the plastic in the canopy on the carseat. So now we can't use the canopy, which was really useful especially if it was sunny or windy. I am not happy. I've e-mailed the manufacturer but they no longer even make the carseat, so I doubt there is anything they can do! We're also missing one of the side cushions that velcros in.

4) GTKY: What bends your mind every time you think about it?

The fact that I am going to be the mom of TWO soon.

@MDKC14 Isn't it amazing what our bodies can do?!

+1 for the pelvic discomfort. Some days I feel great, other days it hurts to even stand up.

@AdorkablePixie Have you looked into car seat covers or canopies?

1) 35+3, so 29 days max, if I end up with a RCS

2) This is my last week without an appointment. Weeklies start next week!

3) I wish I could sleep better! I’m so sick of only getting 4-5 hours total.

4) Unrelated to pregnancy and children, I would have to say the design of parking garages. I’m not sure why, but the fact that they can be one way, but everyone get out still is really interesting to me.

Rant: Nope over work and everything in general including my husband & my dog. He somehow still mananged to open the kids bag and eat the top half of their advent wreath I made!
Rave: Went to see Santa last night so that is off my list to do!

4) GTKY: What bends your mind every time you think about it that is UNRELATED to pregnancy/children? Why is there so much crazy drama at every law firm I have ever worked at?! Is it because they know how to get around the law in regards to attorneys? That only the crazies are hired when it comes to staff?

@katy0990 Yes- especially large complicated garages like in Las Vegas!
@mcgeeva I wish I knew about crazy staffers too! MH and I have some rental houses, and our #1 worst tenant EVER was (briefly) a law clerk. She knew just enough Landlord/Tenant Law to essentially squat in our house for two months with her family.

Had a good weekly yesterday, everything is on track and my induction should be getting on to the hospital's calendar. EDD is 12/12, so they'll start the induction the night before.

Dear Diary, I have started eating dates! I accidentally bought the big seeded dates, so I'm just having two each night after dinner. I'll buy some smaller ones in town after I finish these suckers. I hope that their oxytocin-like effect works well on my cervix and future lochia, FX!

4) GTKY: What bends your mind every time you think about it that is UNRELATED to pregnancy/children?
Quantum entanglement. *mind blown every time*

@katy0990 I'm at a 1, 0 effacement and my cervix was sitting to high to reach membranes for sweep. 😒

@MDKC14 Fresh or dried! Nutrition is the same, it's just a billion times easier to find dried! I bought these from Amazon (because I love Subscribe & Save), they ended up being the big dates instead of charming little nibbles that are easy to find in grocery stores.

I’m having a serious anxiety attack about RCS and wishing I gave myself more time to try on my own. I’m currently dying climbing stairs trying to bring on labour before Monday.
