Holiday

I am a huge decorator and Christmas enthusiast. LO is due in the middle of Jan. I have a wonderful 2 year old. This is the last Christmas of single childhood and I want to make it special, but I'm already feeling exhausted and don't want to deal with cleaning up the decorations. Advice?

    I’m in the same boat! I’m just going to do a few decorations this year that won’t be too exhausting to put up or clean up!

    @rmtwaites Employ your kid to decorate. At 2, he/she will be thrilled with his/her own handiwork. Just set out limited supplies to avoid a disaster, Haha. Get a tiny tabletop tree  and have your kid help to decorate that. Kids don't  remember anything from that age, but in the moment your kid will remember spending time with you. That's what will be special.

    We decorated early in November, because most of my ornaments are my parents'. Keeping them up and around during the holidays makes it feel less lonely. That being said, I have zero idea who/what/when/how they're coming down. We just may be that family that has them up until next year lol
