Jus'need some love MS +stomach flu 😢

I feel miserable... Morning sickness was just starting to kick in then I get the stomach flu.  Feeling pretty miserable right now. Send me some loves and smiles so I can distract myself from my never ending cramping tummy!

  • Right there with you! I'm on the recovery end. Can you get a blanket, apple sauce, and some shows to distract you? I watched Great British Bakeoff yesterday, and some old NCIS.

  • @foodislove love great British bakeoff! Though it's a show my husband and I watch together so I'll have to wait for tonight.  ☹️ We are on the finale of season two on Netflix... I'm betting Kimberley wins! Lol

I'm hanging out in my bedroom to stay closer to the white throne and we don't have a TV in here. Maybe I'll get a tablet out and see if I can find something... And probably fall asleep halfway...

I've kept a sip of 7up down for ten minutes! That's progress right?
  • @kayleydowns I hope you recover faster than me, took a whole 24 hrs and I'm still barely able to stomach this chicken and rice soup. Have you tried getting some pepto bismol in you?

No... My husband drank (yes drank) the last of it when he was getting ready to puke two nights ago.  Husband and both boys have had it and only threw up for 8 hours... I'm hoping I'm on the tail end, but who knows... My body likes to throw up twice as long as everyone else.
  • @kayleydowns be careful with Pepto Bismol. The nurse yesterday at my ob appointment told me not to use it! I’m not 100% if that is right or not, but worth looking into before taking. I hope you feel better very soon!
  • @rgn12 When I call my OB last night in pain (like, could not be distracted from it pain), that's what she recommended. It's safe for use in first tri, not sure about second and third. Always call your doc first if you aren't sure, though.
  • @foodislove interesting! It’s on my OB’s do not list (I checked after I posted), but they may just be super cautious? I feel like some doctors are like that about skincare products too. I still can’t tell if salicylic acid is safe or not! Ugh!

I feel like some doctor's just say no to just about everything just to be on the safe side, that way if it turns out to be bad their butts are covered.
