Testing: daily for fun. I personally think it is less crushing this way,you expect a bfn.
R/R: I impulse adopted a kitten today! He is so sweet and is getting along great with my 1 cat, the other cat hates life itself, so we expected him to hate the kitten. My dog is older and sick. We are contemplating getting a puppy. She loves other animals and I think she would adore a puppy. She loves the kitten and when we were with my parents, their kittens. So, this led to me checking the humane society out and finding my new kitty.
CS/Q: does anyone axillary temp? Would it even work? I often mouth breathe. I don’t think vaginal temping would be a good idea for me. Tw
My kids love to play with my thermometer (always too “sick” for school) and my kids don’t listen, so no vaginal temping for me!
@cpiper39 I would lean towards cd 15. I hope you have fun af the Christmas market, I want to go to one but stuff has come the last two weekends.
Testing: I’m going to try to hold out until 12/6 (two weeks from predicted ovulation) but knowing me, I’ll test earlier than that
R/R: I finally got my LH peak on CD 21 and my doctor already had a lab request in for a day 21 progesterone blood test. I called her office after I received the peak and told the nurse about it and that I hadn’t ovulated yet (but hopefully about to). She told me to take the blood test anyways because “Dr xxxx isn’t looking to see if you necessarily ovulated, she’s looking for hormone levels in general.” I questioned her again but she insisted my doctor definitely wanted to see levels on day 21. So I went and got the blood test and shocker, it was only 0.8. My doctor sent a note with the results that the result did not indicate ovulation and I should probably see a fertility specialist. Well duh it doesn’t show ovulation! So sounds like I was right about what my doctor was looking for and the nurse was wrong. Sounds like she didn’t even ask my doctor the purpose of the test (although you would think she would know). I’m trying to ask now if I should/can get another blood test. 😣
CS/Q: I don’t track my temperature (not feasible since I wake up too much during the night). All I’ve been tracking is my LH surge using OPKs and noted when I started getting EWCM.

@holly321 my hubby wants to get a another dog too! I just can't imagine two little fur balls and (hopefully) a new baby eventually. You are braver than me!
@MollyH1987 ugh I'm so sorry about that nurse that's incredibly frustrating:(
@cpiper39 I’m thinking you ovulated on CD15 based on your temp, CM, and cervical position. How was the Christmas market?
@holly321 I’m a daily tester after CD10 as well. I think it makes CD1 less disappointing. Yay for new kitten!!! What’s his/her name?
@MollyH1987 Sorry you got the runaround at the doctor. Is there a reason she said you need to see a fertility specialist?
Month/Cycle: 1
CD/DPO: CD19, 3DPO
Timing: -3, -2, -1
Typical LP length: I believe 12 days, but this is my first cycle charting in 2 years
Testing: Probably next weekend because I have no impulse control.
R/R: Had a great weekend visiting college friends and watching football. Now to start working off the Thanksgiving food
CS/Q: I agree with my FF O date. This is my first cycle using OPKs and I thought it was strange I got four days of positives. But we’ll see what happens I guess.
