Just wondering what your experiences are with morning sickness and misscarriage. Currently, I am 9w4d and experiencing severe nausea/vomiting, fatigue and headaches.
This is my second pregnancy after a MMC at 13weeks (GA 9w3d) after which also suffering from severe pregnancy symptoms.
It is very often said to me that morning sickness is a good sign, but after my last experience, I don't feel like I can trust my body at all. I feel like this is just something people say without there being any evidence. Has anyone come across some hard research that backs this thoery up? Have you also had morning sickness and misscarriage?
Re: Morning Sickness and Misscarriage
Best of luck with your pregnancy.
A miscarriage happens most often due to chromosomal abnormalities. Something that can not be controlled.
The morning sickness is due to the fact that your body detects a pregnancy, and you hormones change to prepare for the pregnancy. The change in hormones is what causes morning sickness, not a detector of viability.

I too had a MMC and had horrible MS so it makes me a little crazy when I see/hear people say to pregnant women that their nausea is a good sign as that was not the case for me and there are lots of women who experience very few symptoms and go on to have healthy pregnancies.
