Any appointments? Questions?: nada going on over here
Rants/Raves?: It's such a slow week and DD's daycare is closed so I'm home with her tomorrow. We have unlimited PTO so I don't feel bad doing some cleaning and cooking and or playing with her tmrw. Only downside is I really want the house cleaned and I need DH to get caught up on dishes. I'm taking responsibility for everything else but I don't know that he'll get it done.
How are you feeling?: So much better, finally! The morning sickness that started at 3 or 4 days later than with DD also lasted that much longer so I was beginning to think I was in for it the whole pregnancy. Glad it's gone and to feel human again. Also thankful that it's late enough I'm not worried (see above...no appointment for a while).
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? Just me, DH, and DD at home (which is a first). I love to cook but have some shortcuts planned. Then our neighbor is having ppl over in the evening which should be fun.
@kvh22 I'm glad you are feeling better. Thanksgiving at home with just immediate family sounds blissful.
Due date/W+D: 14+5
Baby is the size of a(n): maple leaf
Any appointments? Questions?: I went in yesterday - heartbeat was a strong 160. That's always such a reassuring sound.
Rants/Raves?: No one else got sick before we left on vacation and DH and I had a great week away. We went to a retreat for his job (which we look forward to every year and have made a lot of great friends we see every year there). Then we took a cruise to the Bahamas. It was good to just be together, relax, and laugh. But....back to reality.
How are you feeling?: My energy has gotten a little better, but today was so busy I'm just exhausted at the moment. Nausea still pops up, but not as often.
GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans? We are leaving tomorrow to go to my brother's in Minneapolis for the weekend (it's a 4.5 hr drive). We will celebrate Christmas with my side of the family this weekend too.
