How far along? EDD? 25 weeks with EDD 3/2
How are you feeling this week? Other than feeling really tired and still dealing with achey hips while I'm sleeping (a symptom I expect will stick with me for the rest of the pregnancy), I really can't complain.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: I have accrued my max of PTO days so they have officially turned into use 'em or lose 'em so I have taken off all of this week and I am so excited for a whole week break! I also have a prenatal massage scheduled for tomorrow. This should be a good week.

Rant: I went to a couple parties this weekend and at each were in-laws and friends of in-laws that were quick to pet my belly. I will never understand this reflex. Even with good friends, I don't have a gut instinct to reach out and pet their abdomen just because there's a baby in there.
Any upcoming appointments? Monthly routine prenatal on Wednesday. Maybe with the glucose screening? It was mentioned at my last appointment but I don't recall when I'm expected to do it. I'd actually like to get it over-with on Wednesday since I've already taken time off work so sitting at the lab for an hour is really not a big deal to me.
GTKY: Anyone taking advantage of Black Friday deals this week? I don't like Black Friday. I don't like what it does to people especially immediately following a day of appreciation. I also don't like getting up early, shopping, or being in crowds so it's just completely not a day for me. I have participated in sales in previous years for big items like a new couch but have nothing planned for this year except sleeping in and enjoying the company of my family.

How are you feeling this week? I'm feeling good! Pretty much anything I eat for dinner gives me heartburn but other than that I'm great.

GTKY: Anyone taking advantage of Black Friday deals this week? Right there with ya @may@mayoduck I don't do black friday. I will participate in any online sale though lol Cyber Monday is my jam

How are you feeling this week? Pretty good!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: Heartburn is also making me crazy!! Rave: Happy holiday season is finally here!
Any upcoming appointments? Just had my 2nd AS with the MFM. Everything looked good and she cooperated this time around.
GTKY: Anyone taking advantage of Black Friday deals this week? Only if it's a "can't live without deal" I'm with you girls...I can't stand crowds. Will be stalking online sales like crazy though for good baby & christmas present deals!

How are you feeling this week? Pretty good, although I am having some crazy back acne that is not too comfortable!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really, I only work a half day tomorrow and that will be nice!! Hoping to convince DH to help me move some things and start painting the nursery on Weds. My birthday is next week and I always love that!!!

Any upcoming appointments? Regular check up with glucose test is 11/27

GTKY: Anyone taking advantage of Black Friday deals this week? Nothing on actual Friday because, like @bluebell08, @mayoduck and @kristimh80 I hate dealing with crowds and I don't love shopping - - but I did order some stuff online that had early sales - a fancy diaper bag/purse (first ever bag I'm buying myself that isn't from goodwill!) 50% off from fawn design, 2 double sided changing mats and a high chair/tummy time mat from gathre (on a friend's suggestion) 25% off, and two comfy bras (finally!!) from kindred bravely for $20 each. And now I am done, because budgeting!! I thought about doing a car seat/travel system but DH wants to wait until after my sister throws me a baby shower (probably in January) to get anything else.

@abbykwail Your husband sounds like mine. I'm already getting fussed at by him and family for buying stuff. My grandma already complained that there wasn't going to be anything for her to buy. Guess I'm so use to doing things myself and no one has stepped up saying they wanted to chip in...so I'm bad about waiting. Best of luck on your glucose test next week!

@kristimh80 right!?! Like, sorry you don't have a reminder kicking you all the time that there is a 15 week countdown going and there will be quite a few things that aren't gifted to us, so might as well get them on sale! And if we wait until January to get bigger stuff I'm going to be bigger and uncomfortable and unable to help Sooooo 🤷‍♀️🤰sorry but not sorry, haha.

And thanks about the glucose test! I'm most nervous that it will taste terrible, but I will keep you ladies updated!

@abbykwail Amen!! I want to get the bigger items on sale too because I don't have faith that other will be buying the expensive stuff...unless it's maybe my mom. Plus I'm a little OCD and just want to finished so the last few months can be less hectic and peaceful lol

@kristimh80 yes!!! I want to be done getting stuff set up and ready in like January, so that we can just relax in February! It's already going to be hard enough being 8 months pregnant - - let's not make it harder on ourselves! I'm glad it's not just me! I am totally a little ocd about cleaning and prepping for baby so I absolutely agree with you! And yeah, I wouldn't spend more than $30 on a baby shower gift, so why should I assume/expect others to!?

In other news, I just got 2 reversable vegan leather bibs (from gathre, 25% off with code BLACKOUT) because you can just wipe them down instead having to put them in the washer. Oops? Same place I got the changing mats and tummy time/ under high chair mat from.
