2) Any appointment updates? Just continuing weekly scans with my MFM, so far so good! Go for this weeks on Wednesday.
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? I got nothing.
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Not sure if this is a "chance encounter" or not? After my grandpa passed, my grandma reconnected with an old high school friend, Jim. I was only 10 when my grandpa passed, so still pretty young. Jim became another grandpa to me, he was over at my grandmas daily! He taught me to drive, play golf, we bonded over music, tv/movies, picking on my grandma (all in good fun!). He was seriously one of my best friends for years. When he passed (I was 17 I believe), it absolutely crushed me. My first son has the middle name James after him because he was such an important person in my life. I still miss him every day and wish he was here to meet my son.
2) Any appointment updates? I had an ultrasound today and thankfully the baby’s dilated urinary tract has resolved itself. However, my fluid is less than 1 cm from being considered pyhydramnios again, so I get another scan in 2 weeks. The baby looks great and has a huge chubby belly, but is measuring three weeks ahead. I don’t put a lot of stock and the estimated weight, because they were wrong about DS, but supposedly baby is 5 lbs 3 oz.
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? I woke up at 3:15 for no reason and so I have been exhausted all day. Is it bedtime yet?
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Definitely meeting my husband. A friend of mine gave me his number, but I thought she had given me the number of a different guy with the same name. I am so glad that she made that mistake!
1) How far along are you? 34w2d (that’s a crazy high number of weeks.)
2) Any appointment updates? Nope I have my next appointment on Friday.
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? Poor DD is sick with a nasty fever. Last night it got up pretty far and she was so miserable. I just hate when I can’t do anything for her. Also now I’m not sure I’ll be able to get out to vote since I don’t really want to bring her out today. We’ll see.
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? I suppose meeting my husband when I did counts? He is 13 years older than me and we had many opportunities to cross paths when I was much younger because his close friend is my childhood best friend’s cousin. Even though I met her cousin many times I never met him. I’m sure that if he met me when I was a kid he would have never thought of me as an adult and we would not have ever started dating. So meeting him when I was 24 was perfect timing.
@CecilB93 that's a great "chance encounter" story! @katy0990 I'm so glad the dilated urinary tract issue resolved itself! And I hope that your fluid levels stay in the normal range. @rosebud332 hope DD feels better!
1) How far along are you? 34 weeks exactly today
2) Any appointment updates? I have my NSTs on Wednesday and Friday this week and my 34 week appointment with my OB on Thursday, busy week!
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? I am regretting waiting so long to pack up my office because at this point, the thought of being on my feet and going through all my paperwork to put things in boxes sounds like torture. It's so much more comfy just sitting in my office chair staring at the computer screen all day haha
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Meeting my husband is definitely one of them but that would've probably never happened had it not been for this chance encounter. I was engaged at 24 to the guy I'd been with throughout college and law school. We were long distance while I was in school and it turned out he had a secret girlfriend in his hometown for 6 months who he told he had broken up with me. Long story short, she found out by chance that he and I were actually still together not to mention planning a wedding, broke things off with him, and reached out to me and told me (with pictures to prove it) all the things he was doing with her behind my back. It was devastating at the time but afterwards I was so thankful to her for reaching out because I would've naively married this guy and likely been miserable or divorced today and probably missed my opportunity to date my now husband.
@rosebud332 I hope your daughter feels better soon! @lippy625 Wow! That sounds like a horrible experience, but I’m glad you can see the positive side of it now!
I have a growth scan and appointment with the midwife on Thursday.
3) RantsRaves/Questions/Dear Diary?
Rants: I don't understand what's going on with DS lately. He had a pee accident during lunch at daycare yesterday and then last night he had an accident while eating his crackers. DH tried to get him to pee before leaving daycare and then again when he got home, but he said he didn't want to. When he went without any accidents for a week I was so excited, I thought we were good.. but nope. I don't get what's going on. His teacher thinks he's still too shy and is embarrassed to tell them when he needs to go, so she is working on talking to him one on one and stuff. Most of his accidents are at daycare, and they aren't always daily but still.. I've told him if he has no accidents at daycare he gets a surprise when we get home and if he poops on the potty at daycare, he gets a surprise there.
Questions: Anyone have suggestions about what could be going on? How to help with it?!
Raves: I have off Monday for Veteran's Day and DS has daycare. I am excited for a day off work and a day toddler free. I may try to get some freezer meals done and working through the baby clothes/washing stuff.
Another rave: We go the crib we (I) wanted for $80 from facebook marketplace!! It retails for $219, so yay for that! We also got gift cards and my mom and brother are paying for one carseat, so once we have that then we shouldn't have to spend any of our own money except for on a dresser.
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever?
ETA: I do have one!!
I think meeting my husband was it. I had plans to take an ex of mine to this Halloween party. I was semi-newly single and this ex was always trying to get back together with me, he was convinced we'd get married eventually. Anyway, last minute I decided not to take him and just went solo. I was talking with my then best friend and another friend when he walked up her stairs. I looked at him and asked who it was. She told me it was her brother in law. I saw I am going to marry that guy one day. And now, here we are. He got my number off her phone that night and started texting me as soon as I left. I never would have thought he'd be interesting in me. I am so glad things worked out the way they did.

Is anyone else having issues seeing images hosted by TB? I can't see whose comments I have love-titted without the images...
@katy0990 So happy that you don’t have to worry about baby’s urinary tract, but sucks that you’re so close to having polyhydraminos again - boo to that. @rosebud332 I hope YD gets to feeling better! Fevers aren’t fun for anybody. @lippy625 Man, with that many appts in one week they should start offering you room in the fridge Meanwhile it’s great that the side girlfriend reached out to you! (Ages ago my ex-H was getting shifty and my bestie didn’t tell me about it ) @AdorkablePixie Happy growth scan Thursday!
1) How far along are you? 35 weeks mañana
2) Any appointment updates? Nothing significant! My last two-weeker/first weekly appointment is tomorrow. I'm curious about my weight, mostly because we don't own a scale. Will talk to my OB about more serious acid blockers
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? Dear Diary, I want to buy all of the baby things but am waiting for Cyber Monday. Longest wait ever. Meanwhile I might go on and make a registry at BuyBuyBaby (an hour away) just for the welcome box. Getting more freebies will make me feel like I am being productive while I wait.
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Definitely seeing my ex-H. I was having lunch with my bestie, (we were lunch ladies at our hometown university) and this guy walks in before the meal service to pick up an application. I was so inexplicably drawn to him that I threw my plans out the window. Full ride university scholarship for metalsmithing? Goodbye. General plans to go to college, and study abroad? See ya. We eventually met, and logic went away. He dropped out, we got married, and moved to California. Sure, my ex the only super villain in my life, but I needed those experiences to be who I am now. And if I wasn't who I am, then DH may not have reached out to me when he did...and I may not have accepted his offer to date.

@echo-charlietango I can't see the images either. I've noticed it happens every couple of days, usually if I log out and log back in, it fixes itself. Also, I would've been livid if my best friend hadn't told me and she knew! I was mad enough as it is because my ex's high school friends (who were my college friends, that's how we met) knew and didn't tell either me or her.
@echo-charlietango Same here. I so badly want to buy all the things, but I am hoping some of it goes on sale for Black Friday or Cyber Monday, so here I wait!! It's funny/interesting how most of the people who changed our lives are husbands or ex husbands.

Serious relationships definitely alter our lives forever whether in small or big ways. Especially if the reason you're in this bump group is because of that person lol.
1. How far along are you? 36 + 2
2. Any appointment updates? I had my 36 week appointment on Monday. I was nervous for the GBS test, but it was nothing. Fundal height is all over the map. They told me at 34 weeks that baby was measuring 35.5 weeks and then at 36 weeks, baby was measuring at 35 weeks lol. Apparently he's growing backwards!
3. R/R/Q/DD? DH is getting impatient for baby to arrive. Join the club, dude! This morning as I left for work, he called out, "Let me know if you go into labor today!" No, I was planning on going through the whole labor and delivery process without you, goofball! In all seriousness though, I'm loving that he's so excited to meet his son! Less excited that it feels like such a waiting game at this point.
4. GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? I actually feel there are a few, including meeting my best friend in a college English class. I would not say that meeting my husband was a chance encounter. We met online so it was much more of a planned encounter. This might be the 3rd trimester, clingy, hormonal pregnant lady talking, but meeting him has been one of the best things that's ever happened to me. He frustrates and challenges the crap out of me on a daily basis, but damn do I love that guy. He's going to be an amazing father and I can't wait to start this new phase of our lives together. Oh geez...now this is becoming my TIC lol.
2) Any appointment updates? Had apt today - all looks good. Have another growth scan next week and another 24 hour collection. Got my c-section date finally fixed so that is on the schedule woo
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? Rant: whyyyyyyyyyy is the random nausea back ugh!
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Honestly almost like everyone else, how I met my husband and how life worked out. Truly believe everything happens for a reason. All the good and bad. If it didn't happen it wouldn't have led us to where we are now. The past year half was super super shitty, cut a ton of people out, went through two miscarriages, lost two grandparents but now I think things are on the ups. This baby being one of them.
I am with everyone else dying waiting for cyber monday to finish xmas shopping. I'm in mad nesting mode now. Cooked till 11 last night to freeze stuff for when baby comes. I don't know why im panicking already!

1) How far along are you? 33 and 2! Baby is the size of celery!
2) Any appointment updates? still doing my weekly BPPs and follow ups with my high risk doc and have been bumped to weekly spots with my regular doctor. My blood pressure has been better so they are debating on pushing my induction date back to 12/20 which is great to let baby bake a little longer but I’m nervous because that is so close to Christmas! Really hoping they stick with the original 12/18 date or that baby comes on her own early!
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? my husbands 70 hour work weeks are wrapping up! Woohoo! That means back to our normal schedule and he’ll be around to help a bit more.
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Hmmm I don’t really have anything for this one.
@binxybaby omg that is so sweet that YH is so excited to meet baby! Mine is definitely more in line with @ab_canada's husband's response! Heck, that's how I'm feeling too!
@mcgeeva I hope the nausea isn't here to stay! Ick!
1) How far along are you? 33+3
2) Any appointment updates? Yesterday's surprise appointment at the hospital showed that baby is all good and head down. My next actual appointment is Monday, should be a quick, uneventful one.
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? I would love it if every time I stood up it didn't feel like all my intestines and bladder were going to explode and/or fall out. I think (like many others) I need some internal support to hold up baby and my belly at this point. I've resorted to actually physically holding it up with my hands when I first stand because it helps relieve SO MUCH pain.
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Definitely have to agree with everyone else, happening to live on the same floor as this dude who became my baby daddy and hubby. We just so happened to live across the hall from each other freshman year of college, and the rest is history.
@binxybaby That is so cute! DH was like that with DS. He always said it wasn't fair because I always got to carry him and he wanted a turn. He'll come up to me when he gets home from work at night and put his hand on my belly to see if this one is moving. I love it when they're all excited.
@misscheapandchic I'd want the 12/20 due date only for her to cook longer, but I agree the 18 seems better as you'd have more time to adjust before Christmas!!
@scaredunprepared I'd definitely get a support belt!! It's only going to get worse the farther along we all get. You could probably find a cheapish one on amazon. This reminds me I need to find some sort of binder for after birth.

2) Any appointment updates? Finally got switched to an office associated with my delivering hospital so my appts have moved from wednesdays to fridays. So my next appt is this afternoon.
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? Finally figured out the best car seat set up since we have to do 3 across and it's going to save so much money even with buying 3 new seats. So excited about that.
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Not sure I have anything for this. I guess my husband because I was definitely headed down a completely different path before I met him.
@scaredunprepared I feel 100% the same. Thanks third child. I'm just so uncomfortable at this point I hate it. Even if I pee I have that constant uncomfortable feeling like a zing to your crotch and bladder. I keep thinking could it be a UTI and start chugging cranberry juice. I can't fathom 6-7 more weeks of this

@rosebud332 who knows! I swear each pregnancy you forget what it was like. All I know is this kid feels like they will fall out. There is so much pressure I can't picture 6 more weeks of this.

2) Any appointment updates? I have weekly ultrasounds starting this past Tuesday. I am not high risk myself, but at 30 weeks a routine “growth” ultrasound detected a tiny benign tumor in baby’s heart. There is no way to know for sure what the cause is until after baby is born, but he’s being monitored weekly just in case. So far it hasn’t grown at all and isn’t blocking blood flow, but doctor wants to induce at a specialized hospital on December 26th!
3) RantsRaves/Questions/DearDiary? At ultrasound on Tuesday, I was told that our baby boy has short limbs and a chubby belly? Haha! I do not have GD, so that’s not a factor.. my husband and I both were large babies (he was over 9 lbs), and we are both short so hopefully it’s nothing to worry about. Sonographers sure don’t hesitate to mention anything out of the ordinary, though. Ugh.
4) GTKY: What chance encounter changed your life forever? Meeting my husband when I was 14! I was friends with his sister first, who became one of my best friends. We even share the same first name, haha. My husband and I have been “dating” since 15 and are now 22, married a year and a half.
@channahbanana116 I’m so sorry they found a tumor. I hope everything turns out well. Is it possible they will not have to do anything and it will just be harmless or disappear on its own? A friend of mine’s baby had a brain tumor that they found in utero but they are basically just waiting it out and they say it should get smaller and disappear. I hope that’s the case or something similar with your little one.

9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!@katy0990 So happy that you don’t have to worry about baby’s urinary tract, but sucks that you’re so close to having polyhydraminos again - boo to that.
@rosebud332 I hope YD gets to feeling better! Fevers aren’t fun for anybody.
@lippy625 Man, with that many appts in one week they should start offering you room in the fridge Meanwhile it’s great that the side girlfriend reached out to you! (Ages ago my ex-H was getting shifty and my bestie didn’t tell me about it )
@AdorkablePixie Happy growth scan Thursday!

34 weeks, 1 day.
