@mrskoz428 Yes ma’am! Wendy’s is just right down the road. It got to be a thing when I was pregnant with DS, but it was summertime, so it made more sense. This is my second one in about a week 😳
@megsb615@mrskoz2428 I get a Wendy's chocolate frosty at least 3 times a week. Its one right next to my daughter school. I'm happy to hear im not the only one craving a frosty from Wendy's in November (I live in Maryland) its cold here lol, but I turn my heat on in the car and eat my frosty, while I wait for her to be dismissed. A mommy peaceful moment!!
@truth_trust A peaceful mommy moment having a Frosty sounds amazing. I made the mistake of eating mine while my toddler was still awake and had to share. I didn’t really want to share.. 😂
I’ve been craving chicken and dumplings for the past week now that the weather is cold and dreary. Finally made some tonight! It’s completely acceptable to having seconds for Baby, right?
My husband is constantly wanting to eat out. Like, pretty much daily. And it is SO hard to resist. I hate it. I don't even want what he does most of the time but he gives me an out from cooking. But it's getting gross. I need real food.
Craving horseradish. Just eating it with a spoon in little nibbles. However I googled it and apparently, according to some less than reputable sites, it's a big no-no for pregnant women???? Gonna call my doc tomorrow because all I want to do is eat more horseradish.
@missmcgonnagal definitely check with your OB because I'm not a doctor, but I thought it was mostly fresh horseradish root that was a no-no for pregnancy. Its not something I've ever really looked into though, since I eat horseradish only with roast beef (and the occasional sandwich) and its not that regular of an occurrence to worry much about it
Lol @knarlytaurus . I think it might be a Canadian term... Most of the similar recipes I've seen on American sites are for Chex Mix. We can only get one kind of Chex here, so we make a different cereal and nut snack with various cereals, pretzels, nuts, etc. Top with a seasoning (melted butter, Worcestershire, spices,) and then bake for a couple hours, stirring frequently to make sure the sauce is evenly spread over all the pieces. It shouldn't be exclusively a winter/Christmas snack, but we only ever seem to make it just prior to starting Christmas baking.
