Symptoms? Achy hips, achy back, heartburn- I get full really easily and if I eat even a little too much the heartburn goes into full effect
Upcoming Appointments? I had one yesterday, everything was looking good. Baby is still transverse. My next appointment will be my 35 week sono in 2 weeks. After that, the weekly appointments start! Can’t believe it.
R/R/Q? Not that I can think of right now
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have? I fear being grabbed by the ankles if I am standing too close to the bed. Also, snakes- anywhere at anytime. Especially in the toilet, biting me on my bottom

Symptoms?
Mostly sore lower back and some shortness of breath; however, I'm wondering if baby might have just dropped, because today I feel like I can take deep breaths. Some acid reflux, but nothing horrible.
Upcoming Appointments?
Today. I'm scared of the weigh-in, because I really fell off the bandwagon with Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Rant: I asked DH to massage my lower back yesterday and he legit went and got the rolling pin. I might look like the Pillsbury dough boy, but I certainly am not him!
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have?
Balloons popping... Or like anything that will startle me. Avoid it all like the plague.
My back is killing me. It was so bad on Sunday I almost cried. I took an Epsom salt bath and it felt a bunch better. Still swelling. Been really crampy the last 2 days. Insomnia is still raging.
Just chiro, massage, and acupuncture this week. Have an NST/BPP and an OB appointment next Wednesday.
Rave: Just pre-registered at the hospital for L&D this morning. Shit is getting real! DH and I were off work together yesterday and he helped me with so much stuff on my "nesting" list. I love that man.
GTKY: +1 to the popping balloons. I can't even blow a balloon up for fear it will pop. Also, fish when I'm swimming in a lake (when I was little I was standing in the water beside a dock on a super hot day and someone came runnning onto the dock and caused the 50+ sunfish hiding underneath it to come darting out and they cut my legs...still traumatized 'til this day).

Symptoms?
Heartburn, hip pain, pressure in my pelvis (pretty sure baby is starting to drop), still a little short of breath but hopefully that will improve as baby drops. I stayed high until I went into labor with DS but I’ve definitely noticed I’m carrying a little lower now.

Friday. Regular OB appointment. Nothing exciting.

Rave: My birthday is on Sunday! Yay! Also, we finally got the ceiling fan up in baby’s room. We just need to paint but DH said he feels like he’s coming down with something. He’s usually not the man cold type and I have to force him to relax but he was pretty cranky this morning.
Rant: I hate it when DH gets cranky. I told him if he gets sick or he gets DS sick, they have to stay 5ft. away from me at all times. I haven’t had more than the sniffles this pregnancy *knocks on wood* and I intend to keep it that way!
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have?
I guess sleeping with closet doors open. I just can’t do it.
Symptoms? hip pain, heartburn, pelvic pressure, Braxton hicks contractions, tired all the time! I've never been a snooze button person and now I find myself hitting it 2-3 times per morning.
Upcoming Appointments? We had a growth check ultrasound last night and a midwife checkup tonight.
R/R/Q? Rant: like @sfgiantsgamerbabe I hate when my wife is cranky and hangry. She has a much shorter fuse than I do and I don't have the patience to deal with that! She's great in so many ways but will need to work on controlling her emotions when the baby is here. We're both going to need to focus our energy on the little one!
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have? I hate when, at haunted houses, the actors touch you. That crosses a major personal space barrier for me. I already get really into scary things (love scary movies, etc). I don't need strangers touching me to make it even more terrifying!.

Symptoms? I'm with you @sfgiantsgamerbabe. My pelvis feels like it is being ripped apart. Started last night and I had a hard time sleeping with the pain. Was up from 2:30-4:30. Now this morning I've started crying twice because it's so painful. Took some Tylenol and it might have helped slightly? Honestly I am so uncomfortable I don't know how I'm going to make it through December. I've got another month left of work and then hopefully some rest and relaxation will help.

R/R/Q? I really don't want to be at work anymore. I'm exhausted and cranky and I just DGAF.
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have? Sleeping with the closet doors open too! I jokingly say goodnight to the monsters in the closet before bed.
Symptoms: pelvis is coming undone. I had to get restrictions for work for squatting/kneeling/bending because the pain was so bad. Tylenol and a hip binder didn’t do much for me. I am going out at the beginning of December because I’m so tired and bordering useless at work anyway. Also sleep is becoming dodgy and I have a perma stuffy nose - which I had with #1. I never had pelvic pain with #1 so part of my misery is shock and WTFedness because I’ve done all this before...

GTKY: dark rooms! I won’t walk into a dark room. This is thanks to an episode of unsolved mysteries I saw when I was little and there was an alien in the corner of the dark room and ever since then... nope! Also heights. I won’t even stand on a chair.
Symptoms? All of them... at least it feels like it.

R/R/Q? My dog, Finn, died suddenly on Sunday from a ruptured tumor we didn’t even know he had. I’m a wreck and I am going to need people to stop being insensitive jerk faces. He was my first baby. He was not “just a dog”.
Also, if one more kid nearly runs over me in the hallway because they were running I’m going to lose it. Slow TF down!

Rant: I simultaneously just want to skip ahead to my last day of work and also feel like I need an extra month to actually finish everything I want to before I leave.
Rave: My husband went grocery shopping, cooked dinner, AND cleaned tonight! I did nothing but sit on the couch :-)
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have? +1 to an irrational fear of fish touching me while I'm swimming. I also have a weird fear that somebody is going to push me onto the train tracks while I wait for the subway? I basically freak out on the inside anytime somebody walks/stands too close to me.

Rant: All the weather forecasters are predicting the DC area will get about twice as much snow as average this winter
Rave: I pre- registered with L&D at my hospital, and got a packet of info in the mail today. One of the bits of info in the packet was a reminder to look into what steps our insurance company requires to get a new baby covered under the insurance. A little while later, DH read the letter and volunteered to take care of the insurance stuff on his own. Yay for him being proactive and taking work off of my plate!
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have?
Needing to check behind a shower curtain before going to the bathroom at night. Fortunately our master bath has a stall shower so this is only an issue when we're a guest at someone else's house.
Symptoms: All of the heartburn. Wanting to sleep on the floor of my classroom after teaching 2 classes. Swollen feet still. Crazy back pain this weekend. Lightning rod pain to the bottom of my shoulder blade up to the back of my neck and down my arm through my elbow. After 48 hours of Tylenol and heat pads, husband support, yoga, sobbing, and icy hot it went away. Turns out my little man flipped and is positioned breech for the first time throughout this pregnancy.
Appointments: Just had a 2-week check in yesterday and growth US today. All is good. Baby boy seems big at 32 weeks 2 days but no one else was worried . . . 4lbs 7 oz
Rant: Pregnancy isn't fun.
Rave: Sweet students and an amazing husband.
Question: Does the 3rd trimester always go by so freaking slow?
Irrational Fear: Birds pecking at my feet. Crickets and Grasshoppers.

Rant - Coworker who has the office next to mine came into work every day last week sick as a dog. So yeah, I caught whatever he had (feels like cold but with REALLY BAD sore throat, but it’s not strep), in addition to having a two-day trial this week. Hauling 3 bankers boxes of binders into court 7 months preggo with a cold feels kinda like a marathon. Not sleeping because of being stuffy, uncomfortable, and having to pee all night is also making this week extra hellacious.
Rave - I freakin’ love the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) and even though we aren’t traveling this year and only having one guest for Thanksgiving cannot WAIT to start festivities.
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have? I have an irrational fear of the dark due to a childhood trauma that happened in the dark. But, I’m not afraid of things in my closet or under the bed so - win some lose some?

Rave: My boss agreed to let me expense the Spectra S1 breast pump and a mini fridge for my office so I can have my insurance paid pump at home and not have to tote it back and forth
Rant: A creepy co-worker of mine (male, ~10 years older than me, makes weird comments about my belly and will occasionally call my Darling or Sweetheart) found my Amazon registry and bought me the Haakaa breast pump. So I mean, I get it was a nice gesture but that is incredibly awkward and will make for the weirdest thank you note I will ever have to write...

@kls123 agreezies with everyone else, that's beyond gross and creepy. Its stuff like that that really pisses me off because men either are trying to be creepers or think it's funny. There's no way that was a good idea for him to do and if he sincerely thought it he needs to realize just how inappropriate it was. I would even consider returning it to him and saying thanks but no thanks, this gift makes me feel uncomfortable. There's just no way you need to worry about that weird stuff at work. Maybe even speak to an HR rep if you have one. Seriously not okay.

Symptoms? off and on sciatica pain and general pelvic discomfort. I've been seeing the chiro but I'm not sure its doing anything. The pelvic floor PT couldn't get me in until 12/10. More and more Braxton Hicks. Heartburn is getting worse. I just don't feel like going to work anymore.
Upcoming Appointments? had an OB appointment last Wednesday. Ended up going in to L&D this morning for lots and lots of Braxton Hicks on going since yesterday morning. They ended up telling me they couldn't see any contractions on the monitors and gave me a muscle relaxer. Said to call if they're still happening this evening. This is freaking me out because with DD, I had regular Braxton Hicks for 3 days before my water broke and I was in active labor. The meds seem to be helping so far but I still get one every time I stand up or move suddenly.
R/R/Q?
Rants: DD has been having a hard time the last week or so. She isn't listening at home or at daycare and usually just laughs when anyone tries to discipline her. She also hasn't been sleeping well lately, and the combination is starting to wear on me. Also, the air quality is terrible due to the fire a couple hours north of us so I was stuck inside with my students all week until they finally cancelled school yesterday. Also, my dog had another seizure yesterday which means his current treatment plan is no longer working and we may have to put him back on more serious meds.
Rave- Finally making some progress on the baby's room and I think DH and I agreed on a first name! I think I've decided that Dec. 7th will be my last day at work.
GTKY: What is an irrational fear you have? bridges. I hate driving over them.

Symptoms? Loss of mucous plug, baby has dropped and I have hemmoroids.
Upcoming Appointments? Next Friday
R/R/Q? I am in a slump, I hate working right now because I am always driving. I hate bringing my teens and adult son to work. I hate my college, it's getting to me, can't wait until this semester is over with. My 6 year old is driving me nuts, she has to follow me around everywhere. Hemmoroids suck. I had them early in my pregnancy, they went away and now they are back, I don't want to have them when I deliver. I am straining at all it's the added pressure. I don't like night time because sleeping is hell, either I sleep or I don't.
