Hi ladies!

How far along? EDD? 34w5d 12/12

How is everyone feeling this week? I now have bad knee pain, cant walk or do yoga. Not sure if its from the relaxin hormone or what, but it hurts like I broke it.

And, since saturday my feet especially right one, is super swollen where any pressure will leave a dent! Its pretty bad but I hope is not a sign of pre-e. I am getting my blood work done again on wednesday (unrelated reason) so we'll see if I have any signs of pre-e. Ugh! Just when only 5 weeks left!

Any upcoming appointments? Tomorrow with my high risk doctor for growth scan. I'll see my baby again

Who do you plan to have with you in L&D? My husband, doula and mom

@Ilky FX everything looks good after your bloodwork and no pre-e! Have fun at your growth scan tomorrow! I thought it was so much harder to see things at my 35-week growth scan than it was at the AS. That's probably b/c there's no room left in there!

@prudence9-2 How is your ML going so far? Hope you're getting some time for rest and relaxation!

How far along? EDD?
36 weeks 3 days! I just can't believe that there are only 25 days left til baby bean's EDD (Dec. 1)!

How is everyone feeling this week?
Basically, uncomfortable and tired. BH continue to pick up, but everything else seems okay for now.

Any upcoming appointments?
Regular OB appointment on Friday when I'm 36+6. Not sure if they will start doing pelvic exams for dilation and effacement yet. If not at this one, then def the one next week.

GTKY: Who do you plan to have with you in L&D?
I only plan to have DH in there with me, besides the nurses and OB. I want it as calm as possible and honestly, I don't want my mother or MIL in there until the baby is here. They would both stress me out in different ways!

Super excited about how close we're getting! I start ML 2 weeks from today. That means, after today, I have 8 days of work left, 4 classes to teach, 4 OB appointments, 1 holiday, 1 birthday, and lots to do!

@Ilky I have pretty bad swelling too but it's my left foot that is worse. OB brought me in and checked BP, urine, and did the pre-e liver/kidney bloodwork and eveything came back normal. So, just swelling and no pre-e for me. Hopefully it's the same for you. He gave me a prescription for compression socks and they have been AMAZING. Highly suggested getting a pair or two.

Feeling pretty good but really starting to have to make an effort when changing positions (sitting/standing/laying down). Got the full waddle going on now. Started feeling sore in the groin area the last couple of days so I'm sure things are starting to loosen up more in the pelvis. Loving the belly, though! And again, compression socks are amazeballs. I have ankles again and my shoes fit!

Have a regular OB appointment on Thursday. I think I start going every 2 weeks after this.

GTKY: Only DH and my doula will be in the delivery room. My mom will come later and bring the kids. My one sister lives a bit far but will probably come if I don't give birth during the workday. I don't talk to my dad or my other sister so hopefully I don't have to worry about them showing up.

My scan went very well and baby boy is putting some serious fat on! He is already 6 pounds! My chubby son haha. He is head down and facing left buried his face into my placenta! Btw, I had no idea I have anterior left sided placenta, no wonder he is stuck on the right. I hope thats still a good position for natural unmedicated birth! Otherwise, we have graduated from the high risk doctor and wont need to go back. yay!

@mag1cbeli3ver you are super close! I was told basically you can have baby any time after 37 weeks. wohoo! Although I was also told to prepare myself mentally in case baby goes over due by 2 weeks!

@tosh24 haha I know. Last couple of nights my husband had to help me move in the bed, I cant move my body lol. Hope you have a good and uneventful OB appointment. I talked to my natural doctor (who was a midwife for 40 years of her life - she is old) and she told me feet swelling is most likely due to high sodium which must be true bc I ate asian food on the weekend both days. I will be doing the epsom salt baths. I'll also check out the compression socks. My regular midwife appointment is next week. If it doesnt go away by then, I'll bring it up to them as well.

Hey Ladies!! So glad we are all still cooking away. I've been so busy with with I am super late with my update. @mag1cbeli3ver good luck with your appointment on Friday, I have one too so looks like we're appointment buddies again! Just 2 left over here. EEK
@Ilky good luck with your swelling, I swell really bad during the week due to working and being at my desk all day but it had been under control on the weekends so that's always a nice break. I hope all your blood work and everything comes back normal!
@tosh24 I completely understand on the difficulty to change positions. I can't wait until these babies are fully cooked

How is everyone feeling this week? the same old same, swelling, difficulty moving, heartburn, I'm sure you ladies know..the list goes on

Any upcoming appointments? Appointment with the OB this Friday. Just hoping everything still looks good then I will have one more growth scan and OB appointment the follow week and then it's go time
GTKY: Who do you plan to have with you in L&D? My mom is traveling up to VA from my home state in TN and I thought about letting her come but now I think I will just have her stay home with my LO. I just think that is a little less stressful for me knowing that she is home and not having to sleep in a different bed.

@Ilky congrats on graduating from the high risk doctor! My LO was also 6 lbs at 34 weeks 5 days!!! Hoping they projected a little high - I don't wanna deliver a 9 lb baby! Lol! But as long as he's healthy, I'll deal with any size.

@Joslynj11 GL on Friday! I can't believe you have less than 2 weeks to go! Hopefully both babies will cooperate!

@mag1cbeli3ver ML is not going as I expected. Haha. I was planning to go over stuff in my place and get rid of stuff. But first few days were a little lazy and the last two days I’m havjbg terrible back pains. So I can’t move much. Went to get a massage yesterday but that didn’t help. And just scheduled acupuncture for Tues. hopefully it would help.

How is everyone feeling this week? I started having back pains and it makes me walk like a pregnant woman. Hahah. Moving is very painful now. But once I start walking it feels better. So I have been walking a lot yesterday. But then once I sit down i can’t get up again. Haha.

Any upcoming appointments? NST on Mon & Thurs and a scan on Friday. That would be my 36w scan. And probably my last peak of LO before he’s making his appearance!!!

Hello, ladies! I can't believe how close we all are! Where did the time go!?

Sorry for not tagging people but I am posting from my phone.
It is interesting - my left foot is also swelling more than my right one... I wonder if this has to do with baby's position or just general human anatomy!

How far along? EDD? 34 + 4 , 12/15
How is everyone feeling this week? I feel very large and heavy. But my heartburn is getting better. I think baby started to drop because I don't feel as much pressure on my ribs and lungs. But no pelvic pressure either so I don't know what this is all about
Any upcoming appointments? Had OB appointment on Monday, they keep checking me for pre - e but so far so good. BP is going up but I think I just get nervous/excited when I am there because it is normal when I measure at home
GTKY: Who do you plan to have with you in L&D? Just my husband! I originally wanted my mom there as well but she is not handling my pregnancy very well. For example - she told me the other day that she is afraid of the epidural because so many things can go wrong! Thanks Mom! Just what I needed to hear! And she does that to me about everything! I get upset now when I talk to my mom. I understand that she is worried and anxious but I need support, not more stress
Don't forget about HDBD or PIP your nursery! Am I the only one with nursery not being set up yet? We have all the furniture but is is still in boxes awaiting to be assembled.

Thank you @prudence9-2 and @Joslynj11! It makes me feel a little better! Baby is not going to be in the nursery for the first 4-6 month anyway right? And assembling the play yard and bassinet in our bedroom should be pretty fast.... I am trying to talk my self out of my paranoia...

@DecemberDoll27 I’m planning to work on my amazon list and order from the hospital. So stuff will arrive to my place when I’m out of hospital. Baby doesn’t really need much at first.

@JWatt5 can you make this group secret? So unless you’re a member you can’t see it?

@prudence9-2 - I didn't know you could do it!! It's a closed group so it can be searched but no one can see who is in the group unless they are part of it (other than I think you can see myself and @mbradfo2 who run it). You have to answer a security question of giving your Bump name in order for one of us to add you. @mbradfo2 - since you're the actual admin, do you know if we can do that?
