Re: Weekly Symptoms • w/o 11.4 (OMG it’s November)

  • I’m just feeling tired and sore. I’m so tired, but having trouble getting comfortable at night. I’m loving the large movements, though!

  • Last week sucked and hopefully this week will be better.  Still fighting this cold/cough thing with everything I possibly can.  Also battling hip pain during the night, sciatica pain during the day in the right leg, and holy hemorrhoids.  The pregnancy was going pretty swimmingly until all of this started happening.  At least my naps are good.

  • @katy0990 Totally with you being tired and sore!

My back gets more stiff as the day goes on, so that sucks if I want to be in public after 6pm. The baby's larger movements are nice, especially his routine hiccups that help me determine position.

I've been feeling normal levels of thirst, but drinking more water since so many gals here are getting dehydrated. And getting back to eating varied meals so LO can have a variety of amniotic fluid flavors

  • @futuremrshp i discovered hemroids today! Not fun! I’m super tired and drinking lots of water to hopefully clear that kidney infection. Overall heavy feeling.
  • @futuremrshp I can completely relate to the scaitic pain. I hope your cough clears up!
@echo-charlietango Yes! My LO gets the hiccups pretty frequently, too.
@babyluv1234 I hope the kidney infection clears soon!
  • Put me in the sore and tired camp. I just feel like there is achiness in my back that I can't stretch out. I may try a bath later today.
  • +1 for sore and tired! Heartburn has made a small appearance here and there again as well, yippee...

  • Definitely sore and tired. Yesterday I hobbled my way through grocery shopping stopping every now and then to let a BH pass. Fun times. By the end of something like that I’m so wiped! Other than that, spending the end of the night on the couch most nights due to various aches and pains. Trying to remind myself the end is in sight!

  • When I came back to bed and tried to lay down I got the most intense pain so far. It was all over my stomach but, only hit when I was trying to lay back down. Otherwise, not too bad overall. I'll be happy when the dizziness goes away.
  • +1 for tired and sore over here as well. Also, I think I've reached the stage of permanently swollen feet. It's not a lot, so I am not concerned, but they feel swollen even first thing in the morning now...

  • ladies has anyone used hemorrhoid cream on these suckers? Last time I only got them postpartum
  • same same, tired and sore. Mostly tired, though. I don't even have to do that much to just be totally wiped. I'm in this state of both wanting to be done with pregnancy, but feeling totally terrified of what to do when the baby gets here. 5 weeks seems like forever and nothing at the same time.
  • I tried wearing my brace last night but it didn't seem to help support in the right spot. I think I need something internally to hold the baby up, lol!

  • @ab_canada oh yea! How could I forget the swollen feet!! I happen to have a blood pressure cuff at home (nurse for a mom...) so I'm constantly checking it when I notice my feet swelling a little more than usual. So far so good though! Just being paranoid since apparently GD means increased risk of pre-e.

  • Well, the sciatica pain has diminished so I assume she's moved off the nerve. However, my left foot has started to swell and the arch is flattening which has resulted in over-pronation. I hadn't even heard of it before but I now have it. Only in one foot though which makes walking so much fun. I'm going to start icing it tonight and see how it does over the next couple of days.

  • I don't know if this is a symptom, but I found my first stretch marks last night :/ right on the bottom of my belly.
  • @morgantu ouch, I'm sorry.. How rude of them to show up right at the end..  :/

  • @ab_canada right? In the big scheme of things I dont really care, but I thought I was going to make it! Oh well, this belly is definitely stretching, some proof is reasonable!
  • Baby's movements have gone from uncomfortable to... painful.  She must be very big and strong because she is definitely hurting me when she moves around a lot!

Headaches have been hanging around the last few days, so that's been fun.  Plus, gas pains and bad constipation.  So much tmi.  Sorry.
  • @scaredunprepared Be happy for the painful kicks because it will make you crazy when LO decides to turn towards your back and you can't feel as much movement.. Mine has has done that a couple of times already and I will take the painful & noticeable kicks over the light ones!

  • Overpronation on my right foot, I assume from favoring it when I was having bad sciatica pain with my left hip. Baby keeps changing positions from transverse to head down but so long as she's head down come delivery time I don't care.

  • Anyone else having bathroom issues?I have been up in the middle of the night for the past two nights with no joke diarrhea cramps and issues during the day. And nope I haven't had anything bad to eat. I had to come to DC for work today and felt the pains and got nervous for that lovely drive.

  • @scaredunprepared same re: movements!! With my first I had an anterior placenta, I felt just enough to know he was okay. This time it's posterior and the movements have straight up hurt lately!!

  • @CecilB93 yes! I had an anterior placenta with my son and movements were so mild compared to this. This time around I'm like this baby is kicking me so hard, sometimes I jump in my seat. And I just keep thinking it is going to get bigger and stronger...

Heartburn and vulvar varicose veins—yes you read that right. It’s super painful.
  • edited November 2018
@CecilB93 well at least I'm not alone!

@ab_canada I suppose I should be grateful.   It's just difficult when it's painful!

    @Erinka omg that sounds horrible!
