FET right after failed fresh transfer

Hey there...warning child mentioned A little about me. I had my ovaries removed 7 years ago while pregnant for my now 7 year old son. We embarked on the donor egg journey the beginning of this year and had a single fresh embryo transfer last month which resulted in a chemical. We decided to jump right back in to a frozen transfer. We have 2 frozen embryos, both graded BB left. I have started my estrogen to begin next cycle and transfer will be somewhere around the 24th of this month. I am having mixed feelings. With the first transfer I had such a positive attitude and just knew it would result in a positive outcome. However, it wasn’t in the cards for us that time and resulted in a chemical. Now going into the second, I am adding in acupuncture. I am just not having the same positive feelings with having the disappointment of our first cycle. Anyone else out there jump right into a frozen after a chemical?

    Hello, I am sorry I am responding to this a bit late. But I did this back in 2012. With our first IVF cycle I transferred 2 fresh embryos and I had a chemical pregnancy. I then went right into a FET, same with you I added acupuncture as I was not doing this with my fresh IVF cycle and I had a BFP from that FET right after the chemical pregnancy. I know it can be hard, I remember feeling the same way, so disappointed about it not working and worrying going into the FET. However, I feel like my body was in a better place to accept the embryos with the frozen and adding in the acupuncture helped a lot, I also did meditations. Circle and Bloom is amazing! That also helped get me in a better mindset. Good luck, I am a believer in positive thoughts helping out quite a bit as well.

    FET #1 - November 2012 = BFP!!!!
    DS - Born July 2013
    FET #2 - January 2015 = BFP!!!!!
    DS - Born September 2016
    IVF #2 - prep in progress, retrieval date November 2018

    @faithhopelove01 unfortunately my FET was also a chemical. Beyond devastated and very discouraged. Only one embryo left and now I am so scared. Going to wait a bit for next transfer as this second chemical hit me very hard.

    @dreamunoz hugs to you. I am so sorry to hear this. Praying that one embryo is the one that sticks. CP are so tough, glad you are taking time time for R&R after the second one.
