2. How are you feeling? A little achy. Thinking about looking into belly bands or something. Never needed one with DD, but pretty sure I’m going to need some extra support this time around. The events of this past week also have me feeling very emotional about the state of our country.
3. Rants/Raves/Questions? DD’s school is a little less than 10 miles away. We live in a high traffic area and it usually takes about 45 minutes to get there. This week it’s been taking an hour and 15 minutes. Makes me want to bang my head on the steering wheel.
4. Any appts this week? Regular OB appt coming up on Tuesday.
5. Favorite aspect of Halloween or reasons why you don't like Halloween. I LOVE the Fall weather we’re having. It’s been gorgeous! I also love the nostalgia aspect of Halloween. All the old movies, pumpkin carving, etc makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
2. How are you feeling? - Good! Tired, but not in pain or discomfort so I’ll take it. What I lack in energy, baby seems to have gained. He’s kicking non-stop!
3. Rants/Raves/Questions? - Nothing this week.
4. Any appts this week? - Nope, not for a month.
5. Favorite aspect of Halloween or reasons why you don't like Halloween. - I didn’t grow up with Halloween, so I don’t really have a relationship with the holiday. That said, I like the decorations, costumes and candy. I’m glad we don’t get trick or treaters though, that just sounds annoying. I’m more of an observer than participator, although I’m sure that’ll change once this kid is old enough.

@wrensnest I feel ya on the general feeling of sadness and hopelessness that the hatred in this country creates. One thing I try to remember is that I can affect change in small ways like raising my children to be loving, respectful citizens of society. I also pray for peace and courage for those who have been directly affected by recent events.

Finally good! No nausea, no RLP, and backaches are minimal! I've also been able to rope in my appetite, so hopefully I can slow this weight gain down a bit.

Nowadays I love how excited DS-3 and DD-16mos are about dressing up and trick-or-treating. They love every aspect of Halloween, right down to the tiniest heirloom pumpkin, and it just warms my whole heart.

26 weeks - Kale!
2. How are you feeling?
Great! I still can't do alot of chores that require bending or lifting without my lower back hurting, but for the most part it doesn't bother me all that much. Little guy's kicks are getting more powerful!
3. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Ugh, I got my first "BIG" comment from a stranger. The lady at the post office asked my due date and said "Wow! I thought you were due next month! You look big! How many are in there?!"
I knew to expect comments like that from strangers (and I didn't think I'd find it offensive), but I didn't expect to be hearing it yet! It caught me off-guard! I just wanted to buy stamps!

5. Favorite aspect of Halloween or reasons why you don't like Halloween.
I love to do the fun face make-up and creative costumes and go to a party, but we haven't done all that in years. If we did, we were gonna go as "avocado toast" this year! I was gonna be an avocado and hubby was going to be a piece of toast.

Good! Physically doing well and emotionally/mentally things are starting to feel more real about having a baby, in a good way

One of my co-worker's husband sent a oatmeal cream pie in to work for me yesterday

I enjoy dressing up and luckily get to working as a physical therapist. We bought the Halloween necessities tonight after work, 3 bags of candy, beer for DH, and ice cream for me. Now I'm waiting for trick or treaters before I start eating all the candy

I’m having a hard time drinking enough water during the day.

When it was just me and DH we used to go to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, one of my favorite events! Now I guess my favorite thing is the candy.
25 weeks - cauliflower
2. How are you feeling?
A bit uncomfortable. Today I bent down too fast/ the wrong way and pinched my belly. I definitely need to remember that it's there and in the way.

I just finished painting the nursery!!

Sadly, the candy. I'm not big on dressing up but I look forward to dressing up my kid! I have immensely fond memories of preparing for Halloween with my dad's help as a kid. We created some kick ass costumes!

I like how excited kids get for Halloween! I also like the creativity behind costumes. I do like fall overall, so it's fun. I didn't like cold, rainy Halloweens as a kid. I swear I always had bronchitis and had to do nebulizer treatments at home on Halloween.

Went on a crazy hike with an incline and my lower abs hurt so bad. Maybe not do that again lol.

5. Favorite aspect of Halloween? The candy and the costumes. Also love pumpkin picking and carving but we did skip that this year. I do really dislike the scary decorations though, like wow I can't believe how scary some of them are, they scare me! All my decor is lame pumpkins and bats haha
