Symptoms? My uterus hurts; is that even a thing? By the end of the day, I cannot possibly bend anymore, because it's so achy. My hips are also locking up by the end of the day - cue "the waddle".

Bi-weekly checkup in the first week of November.

Ummmmmm.... Oh! We finished the nursery and DH helped me put up the elephant decal and assemble the crib. He's a man's man type - loud, dominant, huge. It was absolutely the sweetest thing watching him do these delicate tasks for his baby.

Totally telekinesis! How much fun would that be? And I don't want to be invisible, and I'm pretty sure I'm better off not knowing what people are thinking. lol

So much round ligament pain. So much peeing. So hungry! Plus I cry over everything!

I am a personal trainer & my boss is being all freaky about me being pregnant. Like he thinks I am totally powerless. I am still perfectly capable of all my regular job duties but he keeps scaling back my work load (which lowers my pay) without giving me any opportunities to supplement what he pulled. Ugh!

Definitely Telekinesis! Especially now. When i just got comfortable and then realize i left the remote on the other side of the room. I wouldn't have to get up as much! 😂

Symptoms?

My hips and back have been killing me this week. The baby also shifted position and has been kicking under my ribcage for the last few days.

Upcoming Appointments?

3 hour GTT tomorrow, and then my 30 week appointment on Friday

R/R/Q?

I talked to the managing partner at work today about switching to a modified schedule after getting back from maternity leave, and she was supportive of the idea. We still need to work out details and have it approved by the partnership, but it looks like it's going to happen. I'm so excited!

Definitely telekinesis, especially these days. I don't think invisibility would be terribly useful , and I don't really want to know what others are thinking.

Symptoms? Tailbone pain, pregnancy induced carpal tunnel, back pain, just generally feeling big

Upcoming Appointments? 32 week checkup on Halloween.

R/R/Q? Gestational diabetes is really not fun at all. I feel bad complaining because I’ve had it fairly easy to this point (no morning sickness or nausea) but it’s so stressful having to plan out and log essentially everything I plan to eat for the day. And since I’m away from the house from 6am until almost 6 pm for work I pretty much have to pack two meals and three snacks every morning. Let’s not even talk about trying to check my blood glucose while also trying to teach.

Also... wtf is with random strangers wanting to know all the details about the baby? You don’t need to know if I plan to have a c-section or not, grocery store dude.

All three would be useful in certain situations. Since it’s conference and IEP season for me, I’ll say the ability to read minds. I’d love to know exactly where the disconnect is for my students so I can give them the strategy they need without the guesswork. It would also be helpful when parents obviously have questions but aren’t sure how to ask.

Symptoms? Trying hard to not complain because this pregnancy has been so easy but my back hurts and sleep has been hit or miss. Heartburn unless I take Zantac regularly. It could def be way worse.

Upcoming Appointments? Every 2 weeks. Got my RhoGAM and Tdap on Friday... I didn't know they did the RhoGAM in your butt

R/R/Q? All of our nursery furniture is set up! My parents gifted us our glider and my sister in law got us our crib. I just like sitting in there now. I still need to get some stuff on the walls and maybe a rug.

Bonus rave: it is ALMOST election day! DH is running for a local position and I'm ready for it to be done. Of course I want him to win but at this point I think we'll both be happy for it to just be over.

Symptoms? Achy back, sleepy, always thirsty

R/R/Q? We are back from our road trip! And I have an appointment for a mani/pedi this afternoon!
Also, I always feel baby kicks so low- on my bladder and near my pubic region- I think she might be breech at the moment. I know it’s too early for it to matter or to be concerned about it. I just didn’t have that with my first daughter. Anyone else feeling kicks like that?

@sushilove15 I’ve felt movement similar to what you described but I was told it’s her head hitting my bladder. Maybe that’s what’s going on? I get sudden hits to my bladder and pelvic region but also to my ribs.

@DLpanda08 I haven’t felt anything as high as my ribs- the highest is around my belly button. I’m going to ask my doctor tomorrow and see what she says! When was your last ultrasound? I wonder how they know it’s her head on your bladder.

EDD? 1/8 but I'm convinced I'll be early

Symptoms? generally achy and tired. Lots of sciatica pain. I tried not taking any Benadryl to sleep last week and definitely slept like crap. I think I'm going to take it again this week.

R/R/Q? rant- my grandma told me I was "fat and sassy" last week. And DH's [extended] family is already asking about a baby number 3. rave- got to visit my friend's two month old today and DD did really well and even patted her on the back and gave her a couple kisses. so cute!

I'm super jealous of everyone getting their nurseries finished up. I think DD's was done by now and I'm no where close for this baby.

I had an ultrasound about a week ago because I was measuring really big. Baby girl was head down low and super active during the US so the midwife said it’s most likely her head hitting my bladder rather than her feet.

EDD? January 7th

Symptoms? During the day I feel pretty "normal" (whatever that means), but by the time DD is in bed, I am wiped. My hips and back and sciatica are all giving me issues but I guess I just don't notice until the end of the day when I sit down.

Upcoming Appointments? I have an appointment on Thursday. I kind of hate bi-weekly appointments because they seem so pointless to me. But at the same time I am thankful that that means I get to hear the baby's heart beat and check on him more often.

R/R/Q? Rant: We had family pictures yesterday that are serving as maternity and christmas card pics, they were awful. I think we only got 3 poses with just the 3 of us and maybe one of just DD. Rave: I'm getting my hair done Thursday night for the first time in a year! I love doing highlights and stuff in it but never maintain it anymore lol

I have been feeling really good lately and then all of a sudden yesterday I am hit with a horrible hemorrhoid and last night I woke up in the middle of the night with a migraine that is still persisting today. I feel like my body is punishing me for something...

Upcoming Appointments?
I have a follow up fetal ecocardiogram this week, regular pre-natal next week, a prenatal massage today (so pumped for that) and the chiropractor tomorrow

R/R/Q?
Any magic cure for hemorrhoid relief? I have never had one before and holy s**t this is so uncomfortable. I have tried topical gel (kind of sort of helps), witch hazel wipes which are effective but temporary, and soaking in a tub with some mineral salts and witch hazel and again that was effective but temporary

I'm going to say power to read minds as long as I can turn it off and on when needed. I would NOT want to read everyone's mind all the time but I feel like that would give me a huge professional leg up for negotiations lol

@sushilove15 My baby's movements are the same. Super low on my bladder and cervix and almost nothing above my belly button. Totally different than my other two where I got kicked in the ribs. Had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago and baby is head down. I was sure it was breech, but nope.

@KLS123 I was awake with a migraine in the middle of the night last night as well! Tylenol sucks and I miss ibuprofen. Moderate caffeine has seemed to help today but I was pretty miserable for awhile. I hope you’re feeling better!

R/R/Q? Rave: We had our centering group over for dinner last night which was lovely. I really enjoy spending time with the other couples. And it's really nice to be around other people going through the exact same thing. We are all due within a month of each other with our first child. I just look forward to our dinners and doctor appointments so much.

Symptoms? distrupted sleep, heartburn, constantly craving chocolate milkshakes from Carvel, lots of kicking and movement, feeling some BH contractions for sure -- it feels like my whole belly/uterus will all of a sudden inflate and get rock hard for about 30 seconds

--Rant: Well not really a rant...at least week's checkup with the midwife she did the measurement with the tape measure thing. She said either the baby is measuring a bit big or it was a bit of extra "me" -- LOL I'm fat I get it, lady! Thanks!
--Rave: Baby shower this weekend EEEEK! I'm excited but nervous too! Not used to being on display, and not loving people wanting to touch me without asking. I'm hoping it's a smooth day!
--Q: When are you gathering your hospital bags together? Is anyone planning to bring supplies to decorate/set the mood in the room for labor/delivery? Maybe we should (if we don't already) have a thread about hospital prep!

I have started packing my bag. Loose stuff, a throwaway housecoat, flip-flops, slippers... I intend to put together a little shower bag and load up an MP3 player with music, maybe add a book or something.

@lacroixliz GL to you DH on his election! I hope you both get plenty of sleep when it’s all done. My dad is running in his local election in rural south Texas as a democrat… not sure he’s got a snowball’s chance in hell of winning but he’s had a lot of fun and met a lot of people so there’s that, I guess.

R/R/Q? Rant - everything feels like a workout now. Not like I’m out of breath, just it all feels like I have to use MUSCLE to like, stand up out of a chair.

Rave - We had our shower 2 weeks ago and I started setting up her nursery this week and it is starting to feel really real. I’m getting past my PGAL major anxiety that has been the main feature of this pregnancy and getting more excited and it’s so fun. I might even buy her a piece of clothing (literally have been avoiding buying anything because every time I take a step towards “this is real” I would have a full-on anxiety attack for days convincing myself it wasn’t real).

Question - (not pregnancy related) I need a new mattress. Love yours? What kind is it? Right now I’m leaning towards a king-size Casper but still trying to decide. Plan to buy one in November.

@Kabazaba +1 to getting up being an effort. I'm not even that big! I did gain a bit, but I'm mostly "on schedule" for weight. I literally stayed standing at work today just so that I wouldn't have to go through my hips and back locking up if I tried to get up out of a chair hahaha.
Please let the next two months zip by!
