Hello All!
I have a few questions and wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar. A little background info. I have a wonderful 5 year old. I am 33 years old. About 6 months after her birth I was pregnant, however it was a molar pregnancy and I had to get a D&C. Fast forward, I am pregnant again and they started scans super early to monitor and make sure everything is progressing as it should. I ovulate late and my measurements were not matching up. The CRL (crown rump length) was measured at 4 weeks at 2mm. A week later and another scan at 5 weeks with a measurement of 3mm. Then a scan at 6 weeks with “no growth” (their words) at 3mm. They informed me that the baby is not growing as it should and I will most likely miscarry. It’s devastating news. I looked up forums and tried to see and read as much as I can. What I did find is the margin of error of measurement can be off by 2mm each way. I also found that the embryo crl grows at 1mm a day AFTER 6 weeks. I don’t know what it is but I am still holding on to hope as the early scans were too early and growth at week 4 and week 5 doesn’t make sense. Has his happened to anyone?
Re: High Risk Pregnancy with early scans
Unfortunately it sounds like you are in a wait and see game right now. I wish you the best.
