    Halloween: love it or hate it?  Neither, really, I think I just used up all my enthusiasm in college.  I went to UC Santa Barbara, and back then our big event was Halloween - I mean Thursday-Saturday the weekend before Halloween was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with people on our main party street, Del Playa.  Different costumes and different parties every night.  My roommates and I used to have themes every night.  I've heard recently it's a ghost town, it used to be incredibly dangerous and the police would put up floodlights at night, so it seems they got a handle on it.  But now I just can't seem to get into the day much.  
    Favorite candy?  Almost anything with chocolate.
    Grossest candy?  That's a tough one.  I'm not sure, maybe Dubble Bubble?  Or anything black licorice.  
    Favorite costume you wore growing up?  I don't remember what I was when I was younger, I just remember being so excited to pick out a costume every year.
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie?  I LOVE paranormal horror.  Last night we watched the Conjuring 2, and I've been hoping to find 13 Ghosts on TV sometime soon.  My favorite of the genre is Oculus (by the same writer/director that just did the Haunting of Hill House for Netflix).

    DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, 
    then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.

    Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW,
    because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!

    Halloween: love it or hate it?     LOVE IT!
    Favorite candy? Give me all the Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
    Grossest candy? Tie between Twizzlers and Milk Duds
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? I dressed as a princess for about 4 years in a row in the same costume, I think I had mostly run-of-the-mill boring ones like a black cat, cheerleader, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz.
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? Hocus Pocus and It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (we have a family tradition to watch alllll the Charlie Brown holiday specials every year!)

    Halloween: love it or hate it? Its not my thing, but I love seeing the kids so excited to dress up.  
    Favorite candy? normally I like Reeses pieces or take 5.  During pregnancy it varies.  With DD I was all about Butterfingers, DS1 - snickers, DS2 - sour Skittles or sour worms.  Yesterday I snuck into the candy I bought for tomorrow and I think Twix is going to be my go to candy this go round.
    Grossest candy? Licorice
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? I remember being strawberry shortcake when I was little and thinking I was pretty cool.
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? I have seen the Curious George Halloween movie about 25 times this month thanks to DS2.  I wouldn't call it my favorite, but I can tolerate it.  I remember liking Hocus Pocus as a kid, but I haven't seen it in years.

    Grossest candy? Hmm...not sure, there's a lot I don't like but nothing "gross" I do hate Peeps but that's Easter. Maybe tootsie rolls?
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? I was cinderella a couple years in a row (still fit in the same costume and loved it)
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? Hate them all!

    Halloween: love it or hate it? Don't really have strong feelings either way. I'm excited to experience Halloween with kids now! DD is
    Favorite candy? Almond joy. Or kit kats. Orrr sour skittles. 
    Grossest candy? Milk duds. Those things almost rip out my teeth.
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? My parents made me a di one year. I wore a white cardboard box that had black dots painted on each side. It was so creative!
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? Hmm does The Nightmare Before Christmas count as a Halloween movie? I love that one.

    Halloween: love it or hate it? I have a love hate relationship with Halloween. I hate super scary costumes and horror movies, but I love trick or treating and seeing people dressed up in non scary costumes. I like cartoon version of spooky, like ghosts on napkins or cute Halloween decorations. But please don’t run out of a hiding spot with a chain saw and scare me and my kids, while trick or treating, unless you want to calm them down in the middle of the night when they have a nightmare. I guess I don’t like “evil” things.

    Favorite candy? Skittles and Starbursts

    Grossest candy? Candy corn

    Favorite costume you wore growing up? I was a witch for several years

    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? I love Charlie Brown, and the Great Pumpkin and also Hocus Pocus.

    @robyn2201 i feel the exact same way - it's so hard to find Halloween decorations that are family friendly and just cute/fun vs. the scary stuff! Our neighborhood luckily is very tame and everyone embraces the holiday for its less scary parts...we have hundreds of trick-or-treaters every year.

    Halloween: love it or hate it? Love it! But not when it gets too creepy. I grew up just loving the fall aspects and kids getting a hookah dedicated to playing dress up
    Favorite candy? Reeses cups for sure
    Grossest candy? Malt balls or twizzlers
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? The year Aladdin came out I was Jasmine, my brother was Aladdin, and our dad was the genie. My mom always handmade our costumes did they are really good quality, I wore out my jasmine pants because they were so awesome. We also won our town parade group category that year!
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? I'm cliche, Hocus Pocus

    Favorite costume you wore growing up?  My grandma made our costumes when we were very young. I still have a Jack-o-Lantern (that DD wore last year), and a pink simple princess dress. I love those.
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. My absolute favorite to watch this time of year! I don't really do scary movies, but I always liked Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer as 90s cult classics lol.

    Halloween: love it or hate it? It's ok.  I deal with it because we have to get it out of the way to start the other holidays
    Favorite candy? Mounds
    Grossest candy? Warheads
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? My parents didn't really do Halloween, but in college one year, my best friend was Cat in the Hat, I was Thing 1, and his girlfriend was Thing 2.  We had a blast that year!
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? I don't really care for scary movies.  The paranormal was are alright, but as I've gotten older, they're really just not my jam.

    DS1 is 7.  DD is 1.  DS2 is coming in late April.

    Halloween: love it or hate it? LOVE it, fall and everything to do with it is my favorite time of year. Trick or treating in a blizzard in MN is one of my favorite childhood memories

    Favorite candy? I am a fan of butterfingers or the little chewy sweet tarts.
    Grossest candy? I really don't like the twizzlers. 
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? The year that Aladdin came out, my mom made me a homemade Jasmine costume and I adored it.

    Halloween: love it or hate it? Loved it more when I wore slutty costumes and went to parties lol. Still love it, though. 
    Favorite candy? Reese's, Kit-Kats, Twix, and I DO like Candy Corn. 
    Grossest candy? Anything that sticks in your teeth. Like Laffy Taffy. Or those gross caramel apple lollipops. 
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? I always wanted to be something spooky. In 12th grade I was a slutty leather vampire lol. But I think in 4th grade I was some form of Morgan le Fay, but it was really just some kind of witch's costume with a cute hat that had a tiny black veil. I loved that one! 
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? I don't do scary, so Hocus Pocus, and if I want to pretend I'm still a child I'll watch Halloweentown.  :D

    Halloween: love it or hate it? Love it! It's my favorite holiday!
    Favorite candy?  I can't choose! I usually buy chocolate and candy corn to eat.
    Grossest candy? I agree with people above that Whoppers are the grossest candy! Also, I used to always get those other-flavored Tootsie Rolls, and I'm not sure if I ever even tried them but they looked gross and unappealing. Are those still a thing?
    Favorite costume you wore growing up?  One year my mom humiliated me by forcing me to wear a clown costume when I wanted to be a princess. She finally let me be a princess the next year and I wore this pretty lace dress my dad got in Mexico.
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? Halloween and The Shining. I love horror movies!

    @RoseShadow873 my mom hated letting me be a princess. She made me be a mummy one year and the costume fell apart as I was trick or treating. I was humiliated. Another year she made me a dead cheerleader. That one was kind of cool though lol.

    Halloween: love it or hate it? I loved it as a kid and now I love taking my son around trick or treating. Too cute! He’s going as Doc Brown from Back to the Future this year because his hair is perfect for it.
    Favorite candy? Anything fruity or sour or Reeses
    Grossest candy? Candy corn or those weird old times honey buttery toffee taffy things.
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? I went as the face on a milk carton once. I made a huge milk carton and cut out the face and walked around with my head poking through. It was super extravagant and really cool. I had tons of compliments on it.
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? I hate scary movies...I legit will check behind all the doors of the house for weeks after watching one. But I love Hocus Pocus and Nightmare Before Christmas if that’s a “Halloween” movie.

    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? I can’t do newer horror movies. Used to love the older ones when I was a kid. Agree hocus pocus and haunting of hill house was amaaaazing!

    Halloween: love it or hate it? Love it! I wish it was socially acceptable to play dress-up more often.
    Favorite candy? Hmm... maybe Twix or Heath
    Grossest candy? Those butterscotch circles, or those awful hard candy strawberry things.
    Favorite costume you wore growing up? A vampire -- wore the cape and teeth for ages afterward to play at home.
    Favorite Halloween/scary movie? Hm... I feel like there's some classic I'm forgetting. I liked Hocus Pocus, but I wasn't as into it as so many people right now. DD and I just watched the Mary Kate and Ashley classic Double Double Toil and Trouble the other day... it did not hold up, but she enjoyed it. I remember really liking Casper a ton, maybe that will be the next one we try.
