So much back pain this weekend, but that's mostly my fault lol. We did a lot of cleaning, I sat on the ground a lot cutting out my sewing pattern and then cutting the fabric, and sat on the ground to paint pumpkins. So I did it to myself really. Otherwise I've had a touch of heartburn returning, but still rare, and just general uncomfortableness. Plus not sleeping well, not quite insomnia levels regularly but constantly waking at night for no reason.
Had a super productive weekend, so of course i feel like a zombie today. other than that, nothing too new. Just ready to keep cookin for a few weeks and then get this baby out!
@CecilB93 Sorry about the back pain - self inflicted or not, it’s no fun. @morgantu “keep cookin then get this baby out” YESSSSSS
I'm right there with you. Body hurts, and I feel zombie-like. My heartburn is getting a tiny bit worse - but curbing it with Tums before bed is working (PS - the Target brand "extra strength antacid berry bites" are so delicious. I love faux strawberry and these are perfect). Right now my greatest annoyance is that somewhere between noon and 2pm I get an uncontrollable fit of yawns, but don't always need the nap -as evidenced by trying to sleep and cannot. Ugh. Otherwise, still waiting on those nesting urges. I might be nest-proof

Definitely nesting. +1 for exhausted and horrible back/pelvic pain. Oh, and here’s a fun new one: leaky boobs. I’ve NEVER had leaky boobs during pregnancy before.
When I stand up after sitting too long it feels like my hips have to settle back into couples with the feeling that I just got kicked in the vagina with a steel-toed boot. Good times, good times.
+1 for extra heartburn and tiredness. I'm actually taking zantac AND tums now. Yum. When I stand, I am a bit achy but it goes away fast. Good thing this week, baby seems to have moved down a bit, so less ouchy ribs.
+1 with the heartburn/acid reflux. I’ve never taken tums before, but if they’re delicious AND can provide relief why the heck not?!
I keep trying to sleep on my left side, with the aid of my snoogle pillow, but my hip starts hurting after a few hours. Then I switch sides and develop the same problem. Plus switching sides is so hard with a belly! Just can’t get comfortable...
My weirdest symptom right now is hot feet at night. 😂. I have to ensure my sheets don’t go past my ankles, and then I have to move my feet around the bed until I find a cold spot. I can’t fall asleep otherwise. It’s really weird.
@scaredunprepared I'm so happy that you're on the Zantac train! It's really helped me and nobody likes knowing that another Bumpie is suffering when a solution is easy to reach.
@barristerninja Oy - I definitely toss and turn all night! It's a miracle that DH sleeps through it all. I often sleep with my feet poking out too, however it's a habit I've retained since toddlerhood

@barristerninja I'm SO hot at night! Poor DH needs to bundle up because I need to sleep with the fan on.
Also +1 for nesting... I never really felt the urge with DS, so it's new territory! And so much yes to the heartburn. But that's been the whole pregnancy lol ughhhh
@barristerninja I definitely get the whole try to sleep on one side, but my hip hurts and try the other side. On top of that, I'm fighting for footspace with the cat who loves to snuggle up to my feet but do the starfish most of the night. LOL
AFM, trying to knock this cough/cold thing out of here. IT was good to hear that I can take Sudafed so for some reason, it made me even happier.

@barristerninja My hips also get really sore if I am on one side for too long, so I am constantly switching sides. I feel like a turtle on its back, flailing around. @futuremrshp I hope you feel better soon!
AFM I am just feeling sore, tired, and huge! in some ways, I am ready for the next 8.5 weeks to fly, But, part of me, is trying to savor our last little bit of time as a family of three.
@barristerninja another here for hip pain! I think that actually contributes a lot to not being able to sleep, both the pain and constantly switching sides to attempt to be more comfortable.
@katy0990 I feel the same! I've got about 5 weeks left, and I seriously can not wait to not be pregnant anymore, but I'm a little sad for my son who won't be the only kid anymore. I brought home a stuffed elephant that sings and moves his ears the other day and when I explained it was for baby brother, DS didn't want to let it go. In that moment it seemed like he was trying to hold onto the way things are and not let change in :'( I'm sure he'll love baby brother, he is excited for him, but I imagine it's not easy learning to share your parents!
@CecilB93 I’m glad I’m not the only one! I know that I will obviously still love him and do everything I can for him, but for 2.5 years, he has gotten 100% of my love and attention and I know that will never be the same, which is so bittersweet.
I wasn't sure if this was a random or a symptom...but I'm obviously leaning towards symptom.
Earlier today I had lunch with DH then he went to work in the office, and I tried to write in the living room (where I can put up my feet and lean on my left side). So I get comfortable, and have a few sips of coffee. Tiny baby clearly felt the caffeine right away and started boxing my organs. I honestly wasn't sure if he was going to push out my lunch or make me crap myself. Thankfully neither happened, but man, way to ruin my afternoon.
I'm starting to really feel this kid running out of space. I hope my remaining SIX WEEKS are manageable.

Hello ladies! So my ÚTI from a few weeks ago did not completely clear. I have a kidney infection and in hospital since yesterday afternoon leaving tomorrow. Baby is doing great moving up a storm!
@babyluv1234 Oh that sucks! It sounds promising that you only needed a short stay. That can be scary.. but it sounds like baby is doing well, so that's awesome!
Update! I was released! I’m home resting my mom arrived early this morning so that’s a huge help with DD1. Was supposed to decorate nursery tomorrow but I’m not up to it.
