Re: Weekly Symptoms • w/o 10.28

  • So much back pain this weekend, but that's mostly my fault lol. We did a lot of cleaning, I sat on the ground a lot cutting out my sewing pattern and then cutting the fabric, and sat on the ground to paint pumpkins. So I did it to myself really. Otherwise I've had a touch of heartburn returning, but still rare, and just general uncomfortableness. Plus not sleeping well, not quite insomnia levels regularly but constantly waking at night for no reason.

Definitely nesting. +1 for exhausted and horrible back/pelvic pain. Oh, and here’s a fun new one: leaky boobs. I’ve NEVER had leaky boobs during pregnancy before.

  • When I stand up after sitting too long it feels like my hips have to settle back into couples with the feeling that I just got kicked in the vagina with a steel-toed boot. Good times, good times.
  • +1 for extra heartburn and tiredness.  I'm actually taking zantac AND tums now.  Yum.  When I stand, I am a bit achy but it goes away fast.  Good thing this week, baby seems to have moved down a bit, so less ouchy ribs.
  • @scaredunprepared I'm so happy that you're on the Zantac train! It's really helped me and nobody likes knowing that another Bumpie is suffering when a solution is easy to reach.

@barristerninja Oy - I definitely toss and turn all night! It's a miracle that DH sleeps through it all. I often sleep with my feet poking out too, however it's a habit I've retained since toddlerhood

  • @barristerninja I'm SO hot at night! Poor DH needs to bundle up because I need to sleep with the fan on.

Also +1 for nesting... I never really felt the urge with DS, so it's new territory! And so much yes to the heartburn. But that's been the whole pregnancy lol ughhhh

  • @barristerninja I definitely get the whole try to sleep on one side, but my hip hurts and try the other side.  On top of that, I'm fighting for footspace with the cat who loves to snuggle up to my feet but do the starfish most of the night.  LOL

AFM, trying to knock this cough/cold thing out of here.  IT was good to hear that I can take Sudafed so for some reason, it made me even happier.

  • @barristerninja  My hips also get really sore if I am on one side for too long, so I am constantly switching sides. I feel like a turtle on its back, flailing around.
@futuremrshp I hope you feel better soon!

AFM  I am just feeling sore, tired, and huge! in some ways, I am ready for the next 8.5 weeks to fly, But, part of me, is trying to savor our last little bit of time as a family of three.
  • @CecilB93 I’m glad I’m not the only one! I know that I will obviously still love him and do everything I can for him, but for 2.5 years, he has gotten 100% of my love and attention and I know that will never be the same, which is so bittersweet.
  • Hello ladies! So my ÚTI from a few weeks ago did not completely clear. I have a kidney infection and in hospital since yesterday afternoon leaving tomorrow. Baby is doing great moving up a storm!
  • @babyluv1234 Oh that sucks! It sounds promising that you only needed a short stay. That can be scary.. but it sounds like baby is doing well, so that's awesome!
