1st Trimester

When did you get your first symptoms?

Hi, ya’ll!

I’m 4 weeks and a few days into my first pregnancy and haven’t experienced any symptoms yet. My boobs are sore and some smells just don’t smell right but other than that I haven’t felt much of anything. No morning sickness or anything. It almost feels weird to me. When did you first start to feel like you were actually pregnant?

Enjoy it when you can.  Yiu might get morning sickness, you might not, you may get it so bad that you need hospitalization. No one can tell you when, if, you will get them.

Honestly, I never got any symptoms and truly didnt feel pregnant until around 16 weeks, when I started to notice a small bump.

I noticed implantation spotting 6DPO. Had a few more mild symptoms, including smells and light nausea. Got my BFP today at 12DPO. 😊
  • I'm 9 weeks pregnant with twins. I noticed a heightened sense of smell, mild nausea, and some twinges reminiscent of round ligament pain starting at 5 weeks. Symptoms have been static since. That being said, if I didn't do IVF and micromanage every little feeling I've had in my body and spend hours Googling pregnancy symptoms, I probably wouldn't even know I was pregnant *shrug* Everyone is different. I would say one starts really "feeling" pregnant during the 2nd trimester when you start to show and feel the baby move. Hang in there and enjoy the peace for now. You may have a shit storm of HG waiting for you.
I'll add, having wicked bronchitis last week that left me bed-ridden and out of normal life for 7 days put my pregnancy symptoms in perspective. I have it very easy (especially considering I have twins) and I am grateful.
