R/R: finally a good night of rest! Yesterday had pushed be to the edge stresswise but feeling hopeful that today goes more smoothly, albeit still busy.
CS/Q: Ewcm last night! Fx for a change in opks sometime today.
R/R: We unlocked a new marriage goal yesterday! DH forgot what day we got married (it wasn’t our anniversary or anything, we were just talking about it). C’mon, man! I thought it was one of the happiest days of your life! Lol. Also, no mega millions for me. 😕
CS/Q: Nah, brah.
@brookert615 Noooooooooooooooooo! I was so hoping that you’d gtfo in the best way. Yay for Marley though! Listening to him reminds me of Jamaica and all the good times. You feelin’ irie yet? 😁

@brookert615: Sorry about CD1. Music is one of my fav de-stressors.. Hope Bob Marley cheers you up a bit! @mamanbebe : A good night’s sleep is the best! Yay for EWCM! @lillywonderland: Sorry YH didn’t remember your wedding date. Some men are just not good with dates.. hope he has it written down somewhere so he doesn’t forget on your anniversary!

R/R: Going on to night shifts for the next few weeks. I usually find that time flies by when I’m on nights so it’s good while WTO/TWW. Not sure how this will affect my temps, but hopefully using Ava will help with that.

R/R: H's appointment with a urologist specializing in MFI is not before the end of January so we're going to keep TTC as normal hoping for things to still happen naturally. H is doing anything in his power to increase his sperm count: loose underwear, 0 caffeine (he used to drink a pot of coffee/day), 1 glass of beer or wine/week max and all the FertilAid pills. I have an appointment with my OBGYN next week to run basic tests for me (HSG, blood tests).
CS/Q: H is gone during most of my fertile window. He will be back on Saturday which is CD16. Last 2 cycles I O'ed on CD15. I hope O day is late! We're trying to cover our bases as mush as we can with the BD.
TTC#1 10/2018: MFI (2 SA under 9 million/ml) 11/2018: HSG shows right Fallopian tube slightly damaged 1/2019: Husband diagnosed with grade 3 varicocele 4/05/2019: varicocele repair surgery 6/13/2019: BFP!!! EDD: 2/22/2020 Baby girl born 2/27/2020 7/18/2019: Total Motile Count at 3 months post surgery = 51 millions!! (number must be >20 millions to conceive naturally).
@lillywonderland Hahah yes! Now I need jerk chicken, stat! LOL. That's crazy YH had a lapse in memory - guess that means that your next anniversary gift has to be real good!
@misshelen86 Oh goodness! Hopefully your nights fly by!!!
@rikiteacup That's awesome YH is being so proactive! FX for you!!!
@brookert615: ugh! Sorry! @mamanbebe: Hooray for EWCM, and hope the OPK is super-blazing and bright! @montee1917: woohoo, get it girl! Up early, and active!

WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPK, HIO (starting now!) - abandoned BBT *again* due to upcoming travel
R/R: finally updated my iPhone, and now everything looks different and stuff keeps making me update settings. Ugh. I knew there was a reason I don't like doing updates.
CS/Q: No questions, but excited that my Advanced OPK gave me "high" today (blinky face) - my OPKs (old-fashioned) are also starting to darken a bit. Time to switch to twice a day strips to hopefully catch a surge! Woot!
R/R: rant - I hate feeling bummed, but when I am, I take forever to get over it. Rave - I recently purchased some boxes of couscous which I've never had before and I have really liked the 2 flavors we've tried so far. Love expanding my palate.
CS/Q: my opk test line was decently dark this morning but still not a positive so O should be finally showing up soon!

@brookert615 Noooo, sorry for CD1 @mamanbebe Glad you got some rest last night. I hope today is a little easier on you. @lillywonderland aww bummer, I was wondering if any of you folks were from South Carolina. That's just bonkers, what is one person going to do with all that money? @misshelen86 that's good that you don't mind shift work. FX Ava does its job there! @rikiteacup hiii! Glad you've come back to join us for a bit while you wait for YH's appointment. That's great he's being proactive - my SO hasn't had a SA in about 4 years (before we were together actually) and it was "meh" according to him, so I've been feeding him supplements like candy. My struggle is keeping him out of the hot tub/hot showers. He has really bad sciatica issues so he needs a bit of heat for his back/legs but I threaten to make him stuff his bathing suit with ice packs to keep the family jewels cool and protected. Keeping my FX for your next few cycles, and for a late O this month so you can still catch your FW @montee1917 I've been off coffee for almost 2 years and you saying 5am + cycling to work = me wanting coffee for you, lol. Yasss girl, you can do this!! Also, when you say BBT converters do you mean the temperature adjusters? If so, yes I use this one. I put the actual temp and time in the notes so I can refer to it later. @lcking82 I hate updating my phone. I've been putting off this most recent update because our company advised us that our email won't work anymore if we do it, but my phone is harassing me to install it. @inthewoods23 I'm sorry you're feeling bummed. It takes me a while to get out of a funk too. If you ever need to talk I'm just a PM away! The couscous sounds really good too - what flavours did you find? My favourite is a mixed wild mushroom one.
Tags from yesterday: @emeraldduchess the spoiler always "swallows" the text right above my pic when I try to post something too. I haven't figured out why or how to prevent it but I just Cut & paste the text back outside of the spoiler window before I post it. @lillywonderland I lol'ed at your Canadian eh reference from yesterday. Hahaha. Also, I figured out why they keep turning off my furnace... I forgot they covered all the floors with paper to protect the hardwood, which means they also covered the vents. If I have the air on the paper puffs up and creates these big bubbles everywhere. The cats were terrified of the floors last night because they looked like they were alive with the air moving around under the wall-to-wall paper. poor things, as if they weren't traumatized enough already, now the floor is lava.

R/R: Rave: My SO and I woke up feeling "skinny" today - this doesn't happen often in our household lol. Reno is still trucking along nicely. Acupuncture tomorrow. Working on our halloween costumes tonight. No rants today! Happy hump day everyone!
CS/Q: Temps are on the rise. I woke up an hour later than normal today so I entered the time-adjusted temp for now. I'll see what tomorrow's looks like. Considering trying OPKs again now that my hormones might possibly be a little more under control? I stopped about 3 months ago because my baseline LH level was so high that all my tests looked positive.

@montee1917 Oh goodness, GL without caffeine! Girl, that is so cool you cycled to work!!!
@lcking82 My iPhone did the same. WHAT IS THIS? lol! FX you get your surge ASAP!
@inthewoods23 Sorry you're bummed! That's exciting with the couscous - so yummy!!!
@kiki047 Do you feel the hormone balancing is helping with how you feel/PCOS symptoms? I've been seriously thinking about it. GL with the OPKs! I think the Metformin helped me with my OPKs not being turned with PCOS but I only got one positive last month so I'm curious how they'll work for you with all that you're doing!
@kiki047 Monday's meal was toasted pine nuts couscous. I forget exactly what the other flavor was... Something with garlic and it was a pearled couscous. We have a 3rd box that's wild mushroom and herb! I'm getting hungry

@brookert615 It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is that's making the biggest impact but yes, I feel like a different person than I did 2 months ago when I started on my current regimen. The Ovasitol was a big part of that, helping with my insulin resistance and curbing my carb cravings (started back in June). Since I saw my naturopath end of August and really cleaned up my diet, she started me on the homeopathic remedies and other than really bad headaches in the middle of my cycle and some crazy acne last cycle, my temps have stabilized, my weird patchy hair growth is all but gone, I've dropped close to 20lbs with no added exercise (lol oops), and I finally ovulated (twice) after being an-o for the first 8mos coming off BCP. I haven't had any repeat bloodwork done yet because my appt with the RE was rescheduled to next month, so I don't actually know if/how any of this is affecting my actual hormone levels but from a symptoms POV it's making a world of difference.

@kiki047 That's seriously so wonderful to hear that! And how awesome to lose 20 lbs! Go you!!! I've looked into Ovasitol as well but I need to ask if it's okay to take with my Metformin or to replace it (I've read some people can take both). My endo appointment isn't until December so we will see!
@montee1917 thank you! I've learned so much from the other ladies on here, and seeing how many of them are thriving even with PCOS has kept me going. @brookert615 I've seen varying opinions on taking Ovasitol with or instead of Metformin. I'm really hoping I won't need the meds so I'm working hard to clean up my diet in the weeks leading up to my appt with the RE. I get the sense that a lot of doctors don't know enough about Ovasitol so a lot of them won't advocate for it. Not to mention the ones that are in cahoots with big pharma. But I'm a little jaded about that kinda stuff. Hopefully your doc can shed some light on that, I personally think it's better not to be on the drugs as much as possible! Ovasitol isn't cheap though, and isn't covered by insurance.

@mamanbebe Hooray for EWCM! FX for an +Opk soon! Hope that today is significantly less stressful.
@lillywonderland no mega millions for us either. It's always fun to fantasize about winning though haha.
@misshelen86 Glad that night shifts make time go by faster. Hopefully your temps won't be too affected by the switch.
@montee1917 That's awesome that you're able to cycle in to work! Such good exercise.
@lcking82 Updates for your phone are the worst. I try to avoid them whenever possible. I have a question about the OPK's. I use the Clear Blue one with the face but I've never gotten a blinking face, just the smiley one but it doesn't blink. Does that mean I never get a high reading or maybe I'm not using the same one?
@kiki047 I'm glad the reno is going well! It's great that you can tell such a difference with everything you've been doing.

R/R: Sorry I missed yesterday. I was dealing with a migraine triggered by another sinus infection. I've been to the doctor now and they gave me a steroid pack and antibiotics. DH bought me flowers yesterday when he ran by the store. He's usually not one to buy that kind of thing except on special occasions but he knew I was feeling really miserable and wanted to cheer me up so it was a sweet gesture.
@littleredm oof, my DH gets migraines and they easily take him out for half the day! Hope you feel better soon!
DH was just saying the other day that his migraines are from his X chrosome so his mom gets migraines and her mom and up. Kind of makes me hope for boys only in the future. Sadly, we can't exactly pick that! Oh well!

@brookert615 Sorry to see you here 🙁 I hope AF evacuates the building quickly! @mamanbebe I’m glad you’re feeling more relaxed today! Come on O! @lillywonderland Men! Although I’m sure it’s not just men that forget anniversaries. My H tends to forget specific details, but so far knows important dates! @misshelen86 I’m glad your new shift will make the waiting go quicker! I’m curious to see how your Ava temps are affected by working night shift. @rikiteacup I hope you get your BFP before your H’s appointment rolls around! FX for you. @montee1917 Sounds like O is near!! @lcking82 Yay for OPKs getting close to peak! @inthewoods23 I hope you O soon! @kiki047 Temps are looking good!! I’ve noticed with OPKs that I always have a second line, but the last 2 cycles I *think* I’ve gotten a clear positive that seems to coincide with my temp rise and when AF inevitably arrives. Maybe yours will be more clear rather than always positive now that your cycle is more regular! @littleredm How sweet of your H ❤️ I love flowers “just because” or to cheer you up (not as an apology, though 🙄), probably more than I like getting them for a special occasion. Be kind to yourself.

@littleredm probably different ones? Mine are the “Advanced” and is a little reader-unit that you put a new test-stick in each day. Blinking smiley is estrogen increasing, then the LH surge is signaled by solid smiley.
@dogmomma096 fx that O happens soon for you! My OPKs were almost blank the last few days, but blazing + today, so don't get frustrated. Easier said than done, I know! @littleredm I'm sorry about the migraine. Glad your DH did something sweet for you! @kiki047 your cat gif is awesome. My dog would probably be traumatized by a reno at my house, too. @inthewoods23 couscous is awesome! So much you can do with it! @lcking82 are you leaving this week for vacation? @montee1917 hope you got through the day ok without caffeine! I find I can sometimes trick myself with herbal tea. @rikiteacup welcome back! @lillywonderland I am amazed my DH hasn't forgotten our anniversary, yet. And if it makes you feel any better, I didn't win Mega Millions, either. @mamanbebe I'm so glad you had a restful night! Might celebrate with a little trip to TJMaxx after work before I hit the gym. And by "hit the gym", I mean watch Netflix while I walk on the treadmill.
CS/Q: 2 +OPKs today, lots of EWCM and some slight cramping, so O is just around the corner! DH is all wound up over the World Series but I should be able to distract him long enough to take advantage of his energy and HIO.
@lcking82 Disney, right? At the ice cream shop in France at Epcot, they have a brioche ice cream sandwich that is heaven on a plate. I HIGHLY recommend it!
@emeraldduchess Oh! Hope you got to hit up TJMaxx and get all the good stuff!
@nomangos23 They started me on Levothyroxine for my Hashimoto’s, kept bumping me up to adjust my levels and my body didn’t react to it very well. Thankfully I got switched to Armour without any fighting my endo and I feel significantly better than I did on Levo. It’s also all natural so I’m happy about that!
Oh dear, I was so concerned about getting in the bathroom to take a 2nd OPK today that I forgot I had groceries in my car!
But it was positive!!

@kiki047 Omg. The floor is lava. Reminds me of New Girl and the drinking game they play. You are so hilarious in your icy palace up north! I’m glad you figured out why it was so chilly in your house though! I was starting to think you had a friendly ghost who liked it cold. 😂
@icking82 I hate every single phone update. Always makes me feel like my phone is slower. Urggggh technology!! Also, OMG I’m so excited for your Disney trip!! I haven’t been to Disney world since I was like 8. It is so much better than Disney Land!
@intothewoods23 Groceries can wait. OPKs need to be peed on! I hope your ice cream didn’t melt!! 😉
@dogmomma096 So glad that more than just me is sad about not becoming a billionaire overnight, lol!
@emeraldduchess That totally counts as a workout! What are you currently watching on Netflix? Also, did you get anything at TJ Maxx? 😄 YH must be so excited about the Red Sox - assuming you’re a fan of them since I *think* you’re in MA. You need to ride that wave of energy! 😉
@littleredm Your hubby gets a gold star for today! So sweet of him!
@rikiteacup I’m glad you guys have a game plan in place and that YH is amenable to the changes you’ve outlined for him. I’m hoping that you won’t need to visit in January though!
@misshelen86 Eep to working nights! I hope your time go by so quickly though!
@brookert615 Interesting - I just started levothyroxine and am not having any side effects but my numbers aren't budging so I'm wondering if we just need to keep increasing or switch to the other. Thanks for sharing!
@nomangos23 I think it’s worth a talk with your doctor! I was going to ask for it and my doctor suggested Armour before I even blurted it out. GL! It is no fun trying to get those levels normalized. It is a little pricey but I feel it’s totally worth it.
@lillywonderland I got a workout top and some fleece lined leggings at TJMaxx. It's been so cold that I definitely need the fleece! I also got a Christmas decoration that I know my mom will love. I've been watching a mix of "Friends" reruns and "Designated Survivor" on Netflix. I wasn't expecting "Designated Survivor" to grab by attention because I am not a big an of political dramas, but I love it!
And yes, I am in the heart of Red Sox territory! DH is a much bigger sports fan than I am, but I'm still excited.
@icking82 Hope you have so much fun! I love Disney! And you’re coming into some mild-for-Florida weather. You just missed some real nasty, hot and humid days. It’s going to be so nice this weekend!

R/R: I’ve been charting for a few months leading up to us officially trying and my cycles are keeping me on my toes, in the worst way possible. According to FF (and a complete lack of temp shifts) I’ve had two anovulatory cycles and didn’t even get crosshairs last cycle. The crosshair-less cycle I believe is due to a critical missed temp.
@lillywonderland groceries were all good and good thing it's fall so nothing was going to melt too fast!

@mamanbebe Glad you got some rest last night.
Keeping my FX for your next few cycles, and for a late O this month so you can still catch your FW
@montee1917 I've been off coffee for almost 2 years and you saying 5am + cycling to work = me wanting coffee for you, lol.

Month/Cycle: 6/5
R/R: It’s getting closer to the weekend! But I didn’t win the lottery 😭
@rikiteacup welcome back!
@lillywonderland I am amazed my DH hasn't forgotten our anniversary, yet. And if it makes you feel any better, I didn't win Mega Millions, either.
@mamanbebe I'm so glad you had a restful night! I hope that today was a good day and that you are feeling better.
@brookert615 I am so sorry that you are back here and that CD1 is being a B. I hope AF doesn't overstay her welcome.
Month/Cycle: 4/4
R/R: I am more than halway to the weekend, I don't have to cook tonight (leftovers FTW) and I put a big dent in the essays that I needed to grade. Woohoo! Might celebrate with a little trip to TJMaxx after work before I hit the gym. And by "hit the gym", I mean watch Netflix while I walk on the treadmill.
Diagnosed with PCOS & Hashimoto's

@icking82 I hate every single phone update. Always makes me feel like my phone is slower. Urggggh technology!! Also, OMG I’m so excited for your Disney trip!! I haven’t been to Disney world since I was like 8. It is so much better than Disney Land!
@montee1917 Woohoo for biking to work!
@rikiteacup I’m glad you guys have a game plan in place and that YH is amenable
to the changes you’ve outlined for him. I’m hoping that you won’t need to visit in January though!
@misshelen86 Eep to working nights! I hope your time go by so quickly though!

And yes, I am in the heart of Red Sox territory! DH is a much bigger sports fan than I am, but I'm still excited.
Month/Cycle: 0/0
R/R: I’ve been charting for a few months leading up to us officially trying and my cycles are keeping me on my toes, in the worst way possible. According to FF (and a complete lack of temp shifts) I’ve had two anovulatory cycles and didn’t even get crosshairs last cycle. The crosshair-less cycle I believe is due to a critical missed temp.
