Baby is the size of a(n): Plum, Army man, minecraft pixel
Any appointments? Questions?: Next appt is next week. OB didn't specify, but I am sure I'll be getting my NT scan and flu shot.
Rants/Raves?: Raving about the fact that I get to sleep alone undisturbed (I hope) in a hotel for two nights for a work trip to Breckenridge starting tomorrow! Cannot wait. Also excited to eat all the delicious food.
How are you feeling?: Not too bad. Still nauseated in the mornings and at night. Eating helps. Boobs hurt again and I am becoming a bit more restless at night.
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? Well I definitely would like to go out of the country one day. And also Sky diving! That has always been something I have wanted to do. Hopefully one day!

Baby is the size of a(n): plum or some kind of small hamster 🐹
Any appointments? Questions?: routine physical exam on Wednesday.
Rants/Raves?: DH is home! Yay! But he can’t stop farting. Ugh.
How are you feeling?: good! I’m starting to feel a bit more like myself day-by-day. I’m certainly still tired midday but less nausea and for that, I’m grateful.
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? I’d love to travel the world for a year with my kid(s) when they are still young-ish. I have a fund started already to help save for it. I’m hoping when they are between 10-12 before they are too jaded to hang with mom or dad for long periods of time, we’ll do something phenomenal. I’m thinking I’ll take a sabbatical year and since DH isn’t overly big into travel, that will save a bit of cash by only having him join in key countries (New Zealand and Norway) and then hit more of Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia in the meantime.
@zuuls_mom sky diving is so fun! Definitely something you need to do at least once
Due date/W+D: may 1, 12 weeks 5 days
Baby is the size of a(n): plum, French macaron, as tall as a tennis ball.
Any appointments? Questions?: second ob appointment tomorrow! Excited to hear the heartbeat again
Rants/Raves?: both? My SIL announced that she is pregnant due may 2nd. Initially I was upset because I'm worried that our in laws won't be able to spend as much time with us since they live out of state and their time will be split. But now I am just getting more and more excited to have two cousins so close together! It'll make family vacations so fun! Another rave is that we will be announcing to extended family and on Facebook at the end of this week.
How are you feeling?: great! Switched off my original prenatals since the iron was making me vomit and now i feel amazing! Ready to eat everything in sight.
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? So many things! Most stuff involves travel and seeing new places. But honestly, the most important thing in my bucket list is just to raise a family so I'm super excited we get to start now.

My old Sr. VP took a year off to travel with his sons that were 8 and 10 and they had such an amazing time! He had a blog and it was SO fun to follow along with them! I think that is such an amazing bucket list item and really hope it comes to fruition!

Any appointments? Questions?: Had my NT scan this morning. Baby was super cooperative, not moving too much, and DD1 was in awe, seeing him/her on the screen. Techs in Canada won't tell you anything (sometimes not even the sex!) so I have to wait for the results.
Rants/Raves?: None today!
How are you feeling?: Pretty good, actually. I've had a few moments of gagging today, but my nausea seems to be well controlled by diclectin. I'm feeling pretty wiped out pretty much all the time still.
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? I feel like maybe I'm not in a stage of life that allows me to think much about a bucket list, because I can't think of anything. I'm so focused on the moment, these days, I even have trouble planning for next week, let alone all the things I want to do before I die.
DD1: June 2014 - VBM4lyfe DD2: October 2016 DC3: coming May 2019
Any appointments? Questions?: My NT is on Wednesday. It will be our first peek at the baby, since my OB doesn't do dating scans. I'm excited to see him/her and verify that there's only one in there.
Rants/Raves?: DD1 told my brother and sister yesterday when we were all together. I asked her on the way if she wanted to be the one to tell them, and she said no, but when my brother arrived she ran into the room and shouted "My mom's growing a new baby in her belly!" So that was pretty hilarious.
How are you feeling?: sleepy, nauseous on and off, weirdly had a bloody-ish nose this morning which has never in my life happened before, so that was weird.
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? I want to go whale watching someday. I would love to see them out in the ocean doing their thing. I went deep sea fishing on vacation about 8 years ago, and we saw some dolphins, and it was so cool!
Baby is the size of a(n): plum, as tall as a rubik's cube, 2.09 inches, 0.49 oz
Any appointments? Questions?: I had my NT scan this morning, everything looked great. And I also had an OB appt this morning. I got my flu shot and just chatted with the dr. Social worker also came in to talk about my mental health which was nice.
Rants/Raves?: It's Monday. Not much else to say.
How are you feeling?: The sleepiness came back this weekend. Also the food aversions. I thought I was on the upswing, but hopefully the beginning of the 2nd trimester (soon) will usher in some increased energy.
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? Travel to Iceland. DH's is Angkor Wat.
Any appointments? Questions?: No appointments until the 30th.
Rants/Raves?: Just found out it's a healthy baby boy!
How are you feeling?: Exhausted, but so relieved to hear the NIPT results show low risk!
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? This may be a silly one, but I want to see the Foo Fighters perform live. Every time they've been in my area I've already had something going on. I would also love to see the Northern Lights. We were in Iceland at the beginning of September a few years ago, and didn't get to see them. I'd also love to get up to the way, way north - Greenland, Norway, etc.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
@zuuls_mom that’s exactly what I’m hoping to do! I’ll have to wait a bit longer than 8 and 10 though due to the amount I’m able to put away currently, but 10 and 12 will be perfect if my math is right (hoping so as I’m a math teacher! 😂)
@k2k2tog I get the survival by the day thing. That’s my MO most everyday. I had the bucket list item before we started having kids though. Mainly because in 4-5th grades the kids in schools here have to learn the recorder. I can’t stand the sound of a recorder even when played very well, so I figure, I can deal with kid #1 learning it, but we’ll skip out on kid #2 because it’ll drive me bonkers to go through with it again. Very self-serving. Why not just take the kids around the world instead, right?!
@mrsdee15 Foo Fighters in concert? Ah-mazing! They are one of the few good groups to ever come through my town and they put on an awesome show. Good call on the bucket list item!
@mrsdee15 you MUST see Foo Fighters!! We’ve seen them three times now and most recent was just a couple weeks ago! They play for like 3 hours and are so amazing. Hilarious too. Totally worth it!

Rants/Raves?: we are trying to find ds a new daycare along with new baby and it’s awful we interviewed a good one last night but they only take 2 yrs and up so we would have to send the baby somewhere else, and I don’t know if I’m okay with that
How are you feeling?: my nausea came back with a vengeance, I hope it starts to taper off for good soon.
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? Umm I really need to make an officisl bucket list! We are planning a return trip to Europe for our 10 year anniversary (in 4 years) so hopefully that happens!
I'm not in this group (snooping on the furthest along) but had to chime in that I've done whale watching, on both coasts! We saw a right whale and minky whale off the coast of Massachusetts, but the coolest thing ever was seeing orcas off the coast of Seattle. I have a photo with at least nine dorsal fins in it!!! And what's best about whale watching there is that you'll see other wildlife as well. The obvious dolphins, plenty of cool birds, and TONS of seals and sea lions!
Any appointments? Questions?: Had an appointment last week that went great!
Rants/Raves?: My husband decided to make something else for dinner last night from what I had asked him to make. Cue me sobbing between bites and saying 'I'm sorry for being ungrateful' over and over again. Gotta love those hormones.
How are you feeling?: I've felt more cramps and growing pains, but otherwise great!
QTKY: What's something you have on your bucket list? Eat a meal prepared by Gordon Ramsey.
