How’s it going, how are your workouts going? Any changes or modifications?
I did one day of yoga last week. My biggest challenge is getting it planned. If I have to decide on a workout video and which days I'm going to do it when I get home from work it doesn't get done. So last week I added a calendar and started planning my workouts for the rest of the month, 2x per week. I'm thinking about re-subscribing to yogadownload.com because I used them last time and a lot of the free classes I usually do are not prenatal classes. Most of the time they're still fine, but having specifically pregnancy safe classes where I don't have to think about modifications is nice. I can usually find a groupon for $30 for a year.

I'm trying to balance my carb and sugar cravings with healthy snacks and a good amount of veggies at meals. I get lazy sometimes, but it's not good for the rest of my family either so I try to have good foods on hand.

Workouts are going OK, I made 4 of 5 last week and then was all over the place yesterday so I could technically count it as the 5th. This Wednesday starts "hell week" classes, and you have to commit to 5 of the 8 so I should have no problem meeting my goals this week! Although I might die.

I really need to get a nasty little Mt Dew habit in check, but other than that I'm not worrying about it!
How’s it going, how are your workouts going? Any changes or modifications?
Omg, I think I only did one walking workout last week, had lots of health stuff going on & many doctor appointments that got in the way of normal life.
Any other healthy living goals you’re working on?
Sounds weird, but I need to stop sleeping so much. My low blood pressure is making me feel exhausted so I’m sleeping way too often throughout the days and then waking up at 2 am. It’s a bad pattern I need to break up with some exercise.
When I was thinking of getting pregnant I picked up some free prenatal workout videos at a mommy-swap event. My goal is to try those out this week.
How are your workouts going? Any changes or modifications? Going ok, didn’t quite hit my goals last week and already know I’m not going to hit them this week due to a busy schedule, but doing pretty good overall. Still on the hunt for some decent, free prenatal yoga on-line classes.
Any other healthy living goals you’re working on? I’ve been making a concerted effort to get back to healthier eating after the carb binge that was early pregnancy for me. I get off-track on weekends, but am doing ok during the week.
@lelkcot I just resubscribed for yogadownload.com using a groupon. $30 for a 12 month subscription, and all of these prenatal classes are available for free. There are lots of other classes that are included in many different styles and they also have a trial subscription. I think it's 2 weeks for $1. I've never had a problem finding a good class when I've had the subscription. https://www.yogadownload.com/Utilities/ProgramDisplay/tabid/359/prodid/9996#.W84U6FVKhf8
ETA: They also have a postnatal program.

@meggyme thanks! I’ll have to check them out! Like you said, it would be nice not to have to think about modifications or wondering if I’m really supposed to be doing xyz pose.
How’s it going, how are your workouts going? Any changes or modifications?
Honestly I’m not doing well in this category. I have been reduced to workouts I can do in bare feet due to an annoying and painful autoimmune skin/joint situation that has me unable to put shoes on. So I have been doing some prenatal yoga, but I only did it twice last week. I am feeling like an absolute slug and my body is not happy with me at all, not to mention that my anxiety really starts to ramp up when I am not working out regularly.
@meggyme Thanks so much for the heads up and suggestion on the yoga app! I just went and got the groupon deal. I always spend the length of a yoga workout picking the yoga workout, and this seems like a really nice and affordable option!
Any other healthy living goals you’re working on? I am really trying to eat more green veg and more iron-rich foods. I take a prenatal without iron (my midwife OK’d it) but I know it’s important, so I am trying to get everything baby boy and I need from my diet.
@meggyme another thanks for the groupon yoga deal! (Looks like there is a discount code - SCARY - for an additional $6 off.) I have been trying to stay active, but walking makes my pelvis feel awful. Yoga was my activity of choice last pregnancy, but I really didn't want to spend that much money again this time around. This fits the bill and is absolutely perfect! I'm so unnecessarily excited, it's ridiculous. I love yoga! Thanks again!!
Yay, I’m glad everyone found that so helpful. I like that they have a wide range of levels and intensities, as well as length. I can only stand so many “breathe your baby in” and “connect your energy with your baby” classes. Sometimes I just wanna sweat. And as much as I’d love to hit up a class it’s not really possible with my schedule (and toddler).

I've been MIA from this thread for awhile, but after seeing my weight gain at my last appointment, it's time to get back to it!
How’s it going, how are your workouts going? Any changes or modifications?
I'm still using the Aaptiv maternity program, and liking it a lot. The last couple weeks I've been able to keep up with 2 workouts a week, and taking the dog for a long walk 3-4x a week. I'd like to get up to doing all 4 of the app's workouts every week, but finding the time feels hard between work, grad school, and life.
Any other healthy living goals you’re working on?
Trying to get to bed a little earlier and eat more green things. I had a hard time with veggies in my first trimester, but trying to eat more now that I'm feeling better.
A question for runner moms (not that I can call myself a runner right now, but I am doing some walk/jog/run interval workouts with the app)- my lower belly gets really sore/uncomfortable when I'm running. I bought over-belly workout pants hoping that might help a bit, but no luck. Do I just need to keep at it and strengthen those muscles or is there something else I can/should do to help this feel better?
How’s it going, how are your workouts going? Any changes or modifications?
Last week I got 2 workouts in (and does a day of cleaning count?) which is less than I wanted. I'm aiming for 3-4 this week.
Any other healthy living goals you’re working on?
Adding in more veggies! I'm really good at fruits, so I am trying to pack salads with fruit in them for lunches.
@meggyme thanks for that link! I just got the prenatal package and I'm excited to try it out!
I have an app that is an online fitness membership that I belong to but it has been frustrating because their search function has been glitchy, so I can't get to their prenatal workout page. Even when I'm motivated to work out it kind of kills my vibe if I can't find a video easily! It makes me wonder what I am paying for but they said 'the developers are working on it'. I feel like, great - thanks, how about you reimburse me until they fix it? I'm excited to have an option that I can just download it to save to my computer!
I have my prenatal yoga on Thursdays and my first week was last week. It was a great end to my work week and really helpful. I still miss running, especially after missing my 1/2 yesterday but I was able to defer to next year.
My goal right now is just make it to weekly yoga and if I am up for more, do some stuff at home. But work has been exhausting recently so not sure I’m that motivated right now.
It sounds like last week was pretty hard for most of us to meet our goals. Sorry, but I’m finding this fact very comforting today, as well as motivating! @abbykwail cleaning definitely counts as exercise!
I tried one of my prenatal workout videos today and it was a strenuous JOKE! It would have been challenging even if I was fully fit and NOT pregnant. So, about to go take a sunset walk instead. Ha.
@lucysmom2016 You can try a maternity support belt for running. Personally they don’t help me much. I have recently had to stop running becuase that belly/pelvic pain was getting too much. But last pregnancy I was able to keep running to 8 months. My personal opinion is to stop if it hurts. Pregnancy is no time to go pushing limits or gritting teeth and there are plenty of other exercises with less impact and pain.
@abbykwail that's what I did before, get the membership for a year and download the classes I like to my computer. But now my laptop that they're all on is basically a brick. Streaming on my ipad is easier and at $2.50/month I can afford that.

@lucysmom2016 just wanted to second what @maggiemadeit said, a support belt might help. But always better to err on the side of caution and rest or reduce your intensity if things are hurting.
@abbykwail oh! That's smart! I'll have to see if I can download direct to google drive. My only computer is my work computer right now and I'd rather not fill it up with prenatal yoga. Haha!

@meggyme awesome tip on the yoga app, thanks! @BuckeyeNut05 get it done during hell week - you can do it!!
How’s it going, how are your workouts going? Any changes or modifications? Back on track and worked out 5 days last week! Much needed to keep the energy up and manage my work stress. I met with my OB’s midwife last week and she advised that I should start avoiding sit-up movements, but twists and other core exercises are ok. Now that we’re at/near the halfway point (!), any core modifications you guys are incorporating?!
Any other healthy living goals you’re working on? Nutrition and treats in moderation. Trying my best to limit my carbs and sugar, and to keep healthy snacks accessible to munch on when hunger strikes.
Workouts are going great when my schedule will allow - work has just been crazy lately! Got 4 strength workouts and 3 walks in last week. This week is looking similar but it's better than not moving at all so I plan to just keep doing what I can. Started to modify a little - some moves just feel uncomfortable but it can be on a day-to-day basis so when they do I modify or do something similar to the move that doesn't feel strange. I'm still eating grapes on an almost daily basis but I need to start working away from carbs and back towards more salads and veggies for lunchtime.
How’s it going, how are your workouts going? Any changes or modifications?
I have made it to both of my mommy and me classes this week. Proud of myself for that. Other than housework and keeping up with 2 kids, I haven't the energy for much else. But I need to get the kids out with me and walk the dogs in the evening (but with a kid in school, my evenings seem very short before bedtime) just a short way around my neighborhood. My instructor at the Mommy & Me classes (I was the only one there today, it was like I had a personal trainer) said the walking might help with the hip pain on my right side.
Any other healthy living goals you’re working on?
Thanks to my high fluid I have a 3rd tri sized bump and all the bodily soreness and aches to go with it. Heartburn on a near daily basis coupled with a reduced appetite because I don't have room for much food. I don't snack much and basically just eat small portions of my meals. Just doing my best to make sure it's good food that I actually do eat.

@meggyme it really helps me to plan out & write down all my workouts in my planner (I’m totally with the times and have a paper planner...).
