What a day already! Thanks to everyone who has already given me support and input on fb!
This morning I woke up at 5:30 am. I knew my husband would be getting up soon so I decided I should use the bathroom before he got in there. I stood up and had a huge gush, I grabbed myself to try to detour the mess but still leaked all the way to the bathroom. When I got in there a lot more came out, it was yellow and did smell like urine so I wasn’t sure if my water broke or what. My husband cleaned my mess up and I continued to leak more. From 5:30-7:15 I ended back up in the bathroom with a few more gushes that were less yellow and didn’t smell like urine. Call my dr they took forever to call back, but decide I should go to triage. We got here about 8 am and by 9:45ish conclude my water did NOT break! I’m so sad but it is what it is. They write me up discharge papers and I’m about to be on my way. Well the resident comes back, he is the same one I had at my 35 week false alarm. We get to talking about how at this point he is just destined to deliver this dude and come back Friday cause he’ll be here. Somehow or another we got to talking about my consistent high bps. I mentioned none of my drs seem concerned, but he was. He told me to hang tight and went and checked my history, called my drs and they decided they are going to induce me today!!! Talk about a whirlwind crazy morning! They are going to let me eat lunch, then get everything going. Sounds like we are going to break my water, wait it out a little and then start some pitocin. (Sp?) I will report back with updates as often as I can! I have to say I am a bit nervous after two births that came on natural and now an induction!!!
