Re: Thursday and Friday Ticker Change (10/18-10/19)
36 weeks - papaya!
I have a lingering cold, but I'm feeling good otherwise.
This afternoon for a check-up before my OB leaves the country for a couple weeks.
We're so behind on getting everything prepped for baby. He's got a crib set up and that's about it.
5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
Probably nothing, knowing our track record, but I'd at least like to get my hospital bag packed. We still need to wash clothes, get them put away, get out the formula maker and set it up, put sheets on the crib, set up the mamaRoo...oh, and find a new car. No big deal.
Probably Suzanne's ("Crazy Eyes") mom on OITNB. She's so supportive and determined to have her daughter be treated like anyone else. She gives me the warm fuzzies.

Now that I’m down to less than a week I feel like superwoman, not really I hurt everywhere but my mind tells me I can do this!
Two of my friends just had babies the last few days and with some of our bump friends having them it reminds me of the joy we had after DS was born and it’s making me SO excited to snuggle my own little boy.
5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
Just sit here and let him cook.
Beth from This is Us. #goals
this week has flown by!
5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
pumping and more pumping.
jill taylor from home improvement— she was such a good mom but took no bs. she was always down for having a bit of silly fun too. i also love that she wasn’t afraid to be her own person and worked on getting a phd on the show.
Done, done, done...
5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
Nothing? I think we are done!
I read this as which do you identify with, so I was thinking about it that way, haha, and now I can’t rethink the question... I feel like the answer to that is Claire Dunphy from Modern Family.
35 mini lop
Emotionally exhausted but pretty decent compared to the past. Getting a cold though
Last week of no apts!
Nothing I can think of
5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
Carpet cleaning, making drapes, putting away 0-3 month clothes
Too tired to think of something
My thoughts with all the upcoming moms who like me still get sick a lot. I expected and prepared for a newborn to be really tough but I was unprepared for how hard pregnancy would be for me. I’m also totally freaked out about breastfeeding (I’m going to try it but am not really feeling the want to do it oddly) and how hard the lack of sleep will be the first few weeks. Oh and about just the pain and fear of going into labor.
5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
Hanging art/shelves in the nursery and getting the diaper caddies ready so that when baby is home we more or less have what we need for him. Oh and finally taking our infant CPR class.
