I never get sick, but naturally because I’m pregnant and can’t take cold meds the universe decided it’s the perfect time to hit me with a vicious cold. Anyone have some good cold remedies?
Curious if anyone’s made their own elderberry syrup? Thoughts?
Lastly, I dabble in essential oils but not super knowledgeable yet. Anyone else out there who could share their favorite germ fighting blends?

As for Elderberry, I usually take it daily during the fall and winter months. I looked in to it since I know safety guidelines are different for pregnant women. All the research I found, not just anecdotal, was that there is little to no research on elderberry use in pregnant women so they could not recommend it as safe. I would talk to your doctor or midwife.
I plan on asking mine at my first appointment on the 30th to see if I can take it, either daily or just when I feel something coming on.
