Update 2nd miscarriage

Hello,

I posted on here a few weeks ago. My first pregnancy was a miscarriage due to momo twins (twins in 1 sac) they did not continue to develop after 5-6 weeks. I had my d & c in July.

We conceived again in August after my first cycle. We weren't sure about having another d and c. But we decided to have one. And a panel of testing done.
The doctor found 2 things. - low Protein s (to be retested again)

And I just found out it was a partial molar pregnancy.

Has anyone had a partial molar pregnancy? After reading online i'm a little nervous.
Now we have to wait at least 6 months (and then another month to retest my protein s)

Thank you

I'm sorry for your losses. My first mc was a suspected molar pg, which is why I had to have a d&c. It was not, but it is a scary thing. I'm not sure anyone on here has had a partial molar pg... but I believe its @holly321 who had a full molar pg. Maybe she can talk to you about it?

    MC #1: D&C Oct 23, 2015 (7.5 weeks)
    MC #2: July 1, 2016 (5.5 weeks)
    MC #3: October 17, 2016 (CP)
    RE #1: RPL testing November 2016-January 2017
    MC #4: Feb. 28, 2017 (CP)
    RE #2: Additional RPL testing March-November 2017
    MC #5: January 2019 (6.5 weeks)

    RE #3: More testing 2023.
Egg Retrieval Sept/Oct 2023, 2 good embryos after PGT-A testing.
    Surgery for endometriosis January 2024
Lupron Depo March 2024.  Benched 3 months.  Hopefully FET after that.
