How many months were you trying to conceive before trying Letrozole or Femara?

Hi! I'm 35 and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months with no success. He's gotten his sperm tested and my reserve looks good, I ovulate etc. We are considering trying Letrozole next cycle to move the process along since we'd like to have 2 kids and time is a-tickin'. I'm wondering how long it took others to pull the trigger on trying Clomid or Letrozole? How many months were you trying to conceive? And are you glad you did it when you did? Thank you and baby dust!
