Still not pregnant after 6 months of IUD removal...

Hi everyone im new to the bump community and have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months (I had my IUD removed). Im trying not to get frustrated and im tired of hearing “dont worry it will happen”. Ive tried everything imaginable...from natural remedies like essnetial oils, teas and acupuncture, to prenatals, sex every day, and every other day but no luck. Im 31 years old and am feeling disouraged. Any advice?

    @wifey_furmom Hi—I’m sorry you’re feeling frustrated. I understand the feeling. Do you have any issues with your cycle or does YH have any potential issues? If not, 6 months is still within the normal range of trying—for someone under 35 with no obvious fertility issues, it can take up to 12 months to conceive on your own. I’d actually recommend you join the Trying to Get Pregnant board, since many of those ladies are in the first year of trying. Most of us have been trying for a year or more and are generally in testing, or have an ART protocol.

    @Bababatty Thank you for commenting. I did join the "Trying to get pregnant board" but I received a ton of backlash. I know this is a sensitive topic and 6 months isn't long, which is why it upset a lot of people. Ive been trying to take this post down since then but I can't figure it out. My cycle seems to be normal and my husband took one of those over the counter sperm tests and he has a high sperm count. We have an appointment scheduled with my obgyn this week to do some tests.

    @wifey_furmom I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t receive a welcoming response from the regular TTC board. I would think they shouldn’t have any issue with you sharing how you’re stressed with your 6 months of trying, because that’s what that board is for: women who are ttc at any point in time and who probably haven’t reached the one year mark (perhaps there are some women in that group who may need to jump over to this board instead). I’m not sure of the logistics, but if you are experiencing any type of response/harrassment that isn’t per the rules of the boards, I would encourage you to report it to an administrator as these boards should be a place for support and encouragment.     @wifey_furmom I went to see what had happened and it looks like the main issue was that you started your own thread, which is against the culture of that board. They’re actually pretty forgiving, and you apologized and introduced yourself in the newbie thread, so you should have no problem participating in the WTO and TWW threads. I’m sure you’ll find lots of people there who have been trying for the same amount of time as you and can commiserate.

    @sincethelastday I was thinking the same thing, maybe they should come over to this board because they have been trying for a few years but it's not my place to say. Thank you for wishing me luck, I wish the same to you and I appreciate the supportive message.
