Rants/Raves? Rave: Looking forward to learning more about a start date for a new job I just landed. Rant: My current boss continues to harass and micro-manage me. That will be in the past soon enough, woohoo!

How are you feeling? Not great. Nausea returned after disappearing for a blissful two weeks. Makes it even harder to sleep at night. Nonstop headaches continue. But better than first trimester!

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? No, I’ve been very private about all three pregnancies. I usually don’t share until around 6 months with friends and don’t share publicly until baby shower pics get posted. I just don’t feel that my very private news is for anyone else to know for a long time, and have never shared with people at work.

Rants/Raves? Rant: Work. It was close last week and everything is pretty much done except for my portion because I'm waiting on 1 person who has me at a stand still. Luckily everyone knows it's not my fault, but it's still frustrating. I shouldn't have to babysit a grown man - in this case. Seriously... Ugh. Rave: I'm able to feel baby move more and more, so that really makes me happy. Also, the temperatures will be dropping and the weekend looks lovely, so I'm looking forward to being able to get out and exercise a little bit.

How are you feeling? Slightly more energized, but achy. I need to exercise more and I should be able to now that temperatures should be dropping.

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? Yes. We told close family and friends at 6 weeks. Told my group of friends around 11 weeks because I had to order a bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding and our moms can't keep anything secret, haha. 12 weeks we told all family and friends. We did a little photoshoot with our daughter holding an ultrasound picture.

@keikilove Congrats on the new job!!! I'm excited for you to be able to tell your old boss "peace out"! Nothing worse than a boss like that!

Any appointments? Questions? Had a belly check last Friday. Specialist should be reaching out soon so can go for a more in-depth ultrasound. My OB hasn't mentioned the AS yet, so maybe this will pretty much be it.

Rants/Raves? Super happy to have my mom moving to Texas to be near us. Happy to have close family close by for holiday and when baby is here.

How are you feeling? Tired and battling horrible heartburn.

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? We haven't done any formal announcements. Since we did IVF, people knew we had been trying, but since had failed attempts, we didn't tell family and close friends until after we knew 100% with an ultrasound that it worked. Planning to make send an announcement like Christmas card this year. This is probably going to be our only child unless there's a miracle. So do want to make something special to share.

Any appointments? Questions? got a cervical ultrasound and (hopefully unnecessary perinatal) appointment this week. hopefully cervix cooperates.

Rants/Raves? i got new carpet installed in a tiny room this morning, and the guy showed up early (window was 8-12 and he came at 7:20 and started calling me before 7!). he was crabby that he waited like 1 minute at the door as i came downstairs with my toddler. he smelled like cigarette smoke and managed to scuff up the back of my leather couch with the carpet, walked on my off white rugs with his shoes on and got mud everywhere because its so rainy, and made numerous marks on my freshly painted walls. WTF. on another note, at least the carpet is installed, lol. and I got some things done this week. getting closer to finishing up my wainscoting in the entryway (I've been working on this entryway for 4+ months).

How are you feeling? emotional. tired. working out literally hurts, especially my back. pelvic pressure/ soreness. but nausea is on the way out, headaches are now mild and not daily. i'll take it, i think...

i told work so they could make the next schedule. i told my immediate family. we haven't told so's family. i figure i'll just show up pregnant and let people figure it out that way.

How are you feeling? Pretty good today which is a significant improvement!

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do?

We have told family and close friends around 12 weeks in person if possible. If not in person we just told via a picture of pink and blue tassels that says tie breaker coming in march (3rd baby). If the anatomy scan goes well we will announce on social media shortly after...not sure what we’ll do for that

@litzi-2 FX your cervical u/s goes well this week!! I can't believe you didn't go crazy on that carpet guy! How unprofessional in so many ways!! Funny you mention cigarette smoke. Yesterday, an old buyer came in my office and talked close to my face. I wanted to tell him...hey mister I'm preggo...I can smell that stinky breath across the room!

Hi, hi, hi! We SURVIVED the wedding

Any appointments? Questions? 16 week check this Friday - measure my belly & listen to HR. As always I'm starting to get anxious. I don't have any reason to worry but there's always that small sliver of doubt...

Rants/Raves? Ranting that after the wedding and endless hours in the car my little family is all sick with some variation of a cold Raving that my 2yo DD did an amazing job as the flower girl at the wedding! She rocked it the entire day without a nap & while she walked down with me and not the other flower girl or ring bearer she was freaking adorable and only had a couple meltdowns! (One of which was refusing to stand next to her uncle for pictures but would stand next to her new aunt hahaha)

How are you feeling? I was doing good until this dang cold set me back. In the "don't feel really pregnant and waiting to look more pregnant" club.

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? I announced at work but we still haven't done anything on social media. Word of mouth has been our attack for family members and I think we've made it to all the ones that I care if they know or not. I asked DH about posting before the wedding and Mister "We Have to Tell My Parents Right Away" when I wanted to wait is now like "I don't see what the hurry is..."

@catlady2015 Some behind the scenes drama that hopefully no one else realized. My parents were just ridiculous to put it plainly but at the end of the day my little brother is married and that's what we were there for.
Oh! And they were thoughtful enough to tell the DJ that it was our wedding anniversary so he announced it when he introduced us into the reception, that was nice.

@kristimh80 stinky breath is the worst!!
i went in yesterday for a lot of vaginal/ pelvic pressure and i wasn't sure if it was burning or what. cervix looks ok! no infection. but apparently i have "vulvar varicosities" that won't resolve til 6 weeks after birth. oh well, i'll take it. better than bedrest, etc!! but that plus lightning crotch, omg.

Rants/Raves? Rant: DD is a clingy teething toddler and nursing isn't cutting it right now. Rave: We are done with painting at the new house before we move. DDs room has been done for a while, but we finally got her magnetic chalkboard finished. Most happy to have finished paint for this lo room, aw pic included below.

How are you feeling? Okay really. I wouldn't know I was pregnant except for the fit of my clothes.

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? We did a fb announcement 2 weeks ago at around 15 weeks using the magnetic chalkboard at our current house with dd (15mo) and me (15wk). We've been telling family since 6ish weeks, partly because it has meant opting me out of a big vaca planned in Feb in Antigua, which I have to skip for obv reasons.

How are you feeling?

Hey guys, still around...the app just doesn’t work well for me, so I’m more of a reader. We had some pretty big complications. We had a severe chorionic hemorrhage about a month ago. We were certain that we lost the baby, there was so much blood. But baby was okay. I’ve still been bleeding fairly heavily, it’s only recently started to turn to brown blood, showing that it’s stopping. But now my uterus is measuring really far ahead (like 6 weeks), so I have to have another ultrasound to make sure that there’s not a lot of blood build up. I’ve been on bed rest, which is really just slow torture when you have older kids. Now that it’s stopping, I haven’t been as good about it...tomorrow will give us more information on where we stand. The hemorrhage was 8cm at the time (12 weeks), so it was really big. I just don’t know what to expect. We decided that we are going to find out sex, because I just feel like I need that extra time to bond and to talk to baby to tell them it’s going to be okay. Having their name will help me with that.

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement?

I did, but not in a cute way. I started bleeding at a family member’s baptism, and had to skip a wedding that evening, so everyone knew I was in the hospital, just not why...So my announcement was just explaining what the situation was so that everyone was on the same page.

@peacebubblebaby My goodness, that’s a lot of stress you’ve been under. So glad to hear things seem to be getting better. Best wishes with the ultrasound. I’m saying a prayer for you right now that all will be well and baby will be just fine as your body heals. Your idea to find out the sex to bond with baby sounds right on. Hope it all goes great tomorrow!

Rants/Raves? Nothing....just overwhelmed with everything...

How are you feeling? Still tired but not like I was a few weeks ago. I'm hungry more now and gaining too much weight so that is hard. I haven't eaten today due to work schedule and my food order for lunch was screwed up.

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? Only my parents and dh's parents know...I was hoping we could wait longer to let his parents know since technically it's not his but apparently he told them and I didn't even know.

Any appointments? Questions? Had a quick check in appointment this afternoon. I gotta say that I always love hearing baby’s heartbeat. Even with these quick appointments, it’s just so nice hearing the heartbeat and knowing that things are still going well.

Rants/Raves? Starting to feel baby move around which is a fun experience. Everyone keeps telling me that I won’t be enjoying it in a couple of weeks when baby’s kicks are harder and consistent but right now I’m enjoying it.

How are you feeling? I’ve been feeling pretty good! I have a cold which is driving me crazy but overall I’m feeling good.

GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? We have told pretty much everyone now. We told our parents through cute gifts. I brought doughnuts in and sent an email to my coworkers. I told the college gymnastics team I coach by wearing a “soon to be Mom” shirt. And then we made a social media picture of a calendar, baby shoes, and ultrasound.
