How are you feeling? Better! My nausea has subsided a lot, thank goodness. Lots of heartburn!
GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? We announced on social media Friday, and everyone we wanted to tell in person already heard from us before that, so it's not a secret anymore!

Doing blood samples and glucose test on the 10th and seeing a dietist on the 12th.

Just got home after spending a week visiting family and going to weddings. Feeling exhausted in every way possible, but I got bags full of old baby clothes from when me and my sister were babies
lots of fun retro outfits.
At the same time it was a lot of pressure being around family and they already want me to plan Christmas etc. I don't feel like I can promise spending time with them until I know how I feel at that point.
How are you feeling?
I've been feeling more worried the last week and gad days when I feel like I'm just imagining being pregnant. I wish I could just relax and enjoy a bit more.

We've told a lot of close friends and family but no official announcement yet. Since we're having twins I was thinking of doing something with 2 peas in a pod

Rants/Raves? I have to rave and rant about DH. He has been doing so good in picking up the slack since I haven't felt great in the evenings but then yesterday he got cranky and then used it against me. Not cool dude.
How are you feeling? Better. During the day I feel good. After 4 it's still hit or miss.
GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? Our families and close friends know. I'm that weird one who waits until we are firmly in second trimester (stupid 13.3) to really "announce" on social media.

How are you feeling? I’ve been getting horrible headaches. I’m probably dehydrated. I try to drink water but it makes me sick.

I posted a photo of our Moses basket and DH posted this....everyone liked his announcement more which annoys me because we always fight about him playing video games
Due date/Weeks: April 16 / 12w6d (I so cannot wait to be done with 1st tri!!)
Any appointments? Questions? Not for another 3 weeks. I am contemplating requesting a quick check up to see if we can hear the heartbeat yet. I want reassurance that everything is okay before announcing to my boss and I feel like waiting until 16 weeks is getting to be a bit ridiculous. I am starting to show and not sure I can hide it for much longer.
Rants/Raves? Just finished my first craft project for the baby. It is a small crosstitch of a hedgehog (DD's theme was owls, DS was foxes, now LO is hedgehogs).
How are you feeling? My osteitis pubis (inflamed pubic symphysis) is back with a vengeance. I can't sit for longer than 20 minutes before my pubic bone starts to burn. Which sucks because I have a desk job and sit in front of my computer 9 hours a day. Luckily I have a sit-stand desk and can stand when I need to. But man being on my feet for very long is killing my lower back. Not quite sure how I am going to survive another 6 months of this...
GTKY: Have you made your pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? Once I tell work I am planning to announce on facebook with a picture of pumpkins. Some thing like we are adding a pumpkin to our patch. I like the idea of a pumpkin for each of our family members and carving a heart in mine to show a baby pumpkin inside.

Any appointments? Questions? Just had my NT and NIPT today! Baby is looking great: measured right on time, had a strong heartbeat of 152 bpm, and was wiggling around in there. And the NT thankfully showed no risk of Down Syndrome. They said it will take TEN business days to get back my Panorama results, which feels like soooo long. I'm so eager to know the sex - it's not that it actually matters, but it's one of the few things that helps make pregnancy feel really real early on.
Rants/Raves? None really.
How are you feeling? Good! My energy's improved a lot over the last week or two, as has my nausea. Bring on that second tri!
GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? Nope - we've only told medical providers and my brother (out of necessity - he's planning a wedding and was seriously considering two days after my due date, it felt wrong not to let him know). We have to tell on a weekend so we can make sure to see both of our families in person. We're considering telling this coming weekend, which is more convenient (we have plans with both sides of the family already). BUT I'm balking at it a little because a) I'll technically only be 13 + 2 and paranoia and b) we won't have the sex results yet - I like telling everything at once. We'll see what we wind up doing. There will certainly be no cute way of announcing - everyone is going to be SHOCKED since this baby is so close in age to our daughter, so we're just gonna come out and say it!

Rants/Raves? I'm getting tired of my community not knowing that I'm pregnant, as I'm one of the few young folks and am often asked in public to lift things which I'm not supposed to do. But then my family who does know has gotten so protective over me, it's annoying and yet completely precious.
How are you feeling? I am almost out of the 1st tri and definitely feeling better! Can't wait for the energy to kick in.
GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? Yes to family. We made cards that, on the inside, said "You're going to be a grandma!" with little ultrasounds taped in. It worked for one mother at least. Not planning on making any other official announcements.

I told my mom & two friends fairly early on. I did the whole Facebook announcement last week with dice of various sizes because DH & I are huge nerds. I'm honestly not a social media announcer because I'm so introverted, but the tiny dice was too damn cute, lol.

Any appointments? Questions? Just had an appointment this morning. He was OK with my lack of weight gain but expects A LOT second tri. Ute measuring a-ok.
Rants/Raves? Rave; Nausea is gone! Rant: I still can't eat large portions. It's bizarre.
How are you feeling? Really really tired still. But overall way better.
GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? Not yet. Almost all of our family and friends that we actually talk to already know. I think after our 16w AS scan (10/29) we'll do something similar to @eli_belle - I saw one with two pumpkins but the "mom" pumpkin had two bitty pumpkins inside. Figured maybe that.

How are you feeling? Nausea and exhaustion are slowing up. But I sure do feel bloated and large most of the time. ;(
GTKY: Have you made their pregnancy announcement? If so, what did you do and if not, what are you planning to do? Our immediate family knows. We plan of sending an email to the rest of the family with a cute picture with 4 pumpkins: Mom, Dad, son, and soon to be little one!

Rants/Raves? Finally had my first appointment last week and got to see our baby kicking away and as the doc found him it honestly looked liked he was waving at us
We got our genetic testing done through Counsyl and had results back today (6 days including weekend) and found out we have a healthy baby BOY in there!
How are you feeling? Pretty good! I didn't have a lot of nausea to begin with but what I did have is down to maybe 10%, usually triggered by a smell. The wave of fatigue is still there but hitting me several hours later than it was before so that's always a plus!

We told our family around 5 weeks, and then after our appointment last week and the doc saying everything looked fine, we slowly started meeting with our close friends and breaking the news to them! We've called and face-timed EVERYONE we love today to share the fantastic news of health and gender!

We told family at 8 weeks. After good NT & combined screen I think we’ll probably start telling close friends soon. Still not in a hurry to tell work. Am I crazy/a terrible employee to wait until 16 weeks?

Any appointments? Questions? I have an appointment on Monday with our midwife. This time we'll remember to make a video of the heartbeat on Doppler :-) (We were too excited/shocked/amazed last time)
Rants/Raves? Rant: WHAT ON EARTH I am so miserable again! I've been puking nearly daily for the past week, and very nauseous some of the time. I'm also getting soooo hungry from not eating enough food, but if I try to make up for it with a big meal I lose it :'-(. And now the hunger is making it hard for me to sleep but I still get nauseous if I eat at night too. Rave: Baby fabric is soooo cute and I love the prices on remnants. I'm excited to try stitching together some bibs and soft jingly play cubes :-)
How are you feeling? See Rant lol. Also one of my medications for mood just won't stay down, so I'm worried that will start affecting me soon. On the plus side I have a bit of energy back and can occasionally go to stores, etc.

We're undecided if we'll announce on Facebook, My husband isn't on it and I've managed to quit but I'm afraid of getting dragged back in. Plus if it isn't someone we actually see I'm not sure they need to know? (Though extended family is an exception, and I have a big family on both sides so it's not very practical to individually tell them all; my dad's side I guess will find out by word of mouth or at the family Christmas party). We told my in-laws the day after our BFP by giving them a (fake so it won't die...lol :-) ) potted plant that says "Our Family is Growing April 2019", then we told my family at 6 weeks by giving them presents with their new titles and with baby clothes inside (with elephants on it of course, this is an elephant baby!).

So, the crazy dreams continue! A few mornings ago DH and I were laying in bed and he said he had a really cute dream about the LO. I then had to share that I had a dream about Ralphie May (yes, the comedian and also RIP) and he was in a helicopter, like taking up the entire helicopter, and it crashed, and this kept repeating in my dream until I woke up. DH was like- WTF??? LOL
How are you feeling?
Pretty good! I have been taking 1/2 unisom at night (per my OBs suggestion) since about 7 weeks for insomnia and a few days ago I decided to stop and see if I could sleep without it. Well, sleeping was OK, but I got SUPER nauseous all day after about 2 days of not taking it. I know it has some of the same ingredients as the anti nausea meds so maybe it's also been helping with that this whole time? Needless to say, I started back on my 1/2 unisom per night!

Not quite yet- we're thinking on Halloween- some kind of cute pumpkin announcement on social media or maybe nothing as I'm a really private person and the thought of sharing so publicly is making me anxious!

Rants/Raves? Rave: Almost everyone knows about the LO now so I can unashamedly go to the bathroom all the time and be a lazy lounger and not have to worry about family getting suspicious!
Rant: DH is about to leave for 5 weeks overseas on Wed and I'm trying to not think about it because it's going to be a tough time. DD has no clue (too young) so I have no idea how she will respond to missing her daddy. My one consolation is I can send him pics/videos on Whatsapp, so I'm planning on taking pics of bacon and other delicious foods that he can't eat while he's gone (he will be in a remote, traditional village where food choices and indoor plumbing is very limited). He is a foodie so he's sad about having to eat the staple food (a mash of boiled wheat or maize) for every lunch and dinner.
My parents will check on me a lot but obviously I'd prefer to have DH here!
How are you feeling? Weird, my nausea and tiredness came back after Thanksgiving weekend. Too much turkey?

Had a baby balloon pop out of a big pot while everyone was lined up at the buffet. Still have to do the social media one, probably using DD. Or we'll just post "We're having another! Too tired with the first one to do anything fancy."

Rants/Raves? Hurricane Michael has put us out of our NC home. I am staying with my MIL and waiting to hear that power has been restored. I know a lot of people have lost a lot. It was unexpected for us since everyone panicked and prepared for Hurricane Florence which didn’t really have an effect and then Michael snuck up and smacked us in the mouth. I was supposed to travel to my childhood home this weekend but a tree fell on my parents’ house and they were dealing with insurance and the like. So I had to announce to my family via group text blah.
How are you feeling? Pretty good. Took a zofran for the first time last night. I think all this travel and overdoing things just got the best of me.

We used the same picture but with all of our initials on the pumpkins to send to family members that we wouldn’t be able to see. I haven’t posted on social media yet. We are waiting to tell our closets friends and just haven’t been able to see them for a few weeks so once we tell them, we will post. Here it is: rainbow because we had two previous losses months before this one.
