I enjoy waking up early*, because early morning is my favorite time of the day. *Caveat: as long as I get to bed on time (I like to get to bed by 10 PM). If I get to bed late, then I'll sleep in to 8AM.
I think running for exercise is so boring and have never been able to get into it. I’d rather take a dance class or do kickboxing. I just don’t get how obsessed people can be with running.
@allthingsgo and @kayjay44 I think you’d be surprised how many runners don’t love it! I actually dislike it but it’s a good workout and I’m fast so I can burn lots of calories in a short time and that’s nice.
My husband has been sleeping in our guest room for the past 2 nights due to my insomnia and even though I miss him I’m really loving the extra space.
My UO: I love winter and I'm looking forward to snow! The days are already so short and soon everything will be grey and brown. Snow will bring some much needed brightness.
@megpants209 I miss DH terribly but having the bed to myself (and the dog) is a serious bonus! Not pregnant I hate an empty bed so this has been quite the revelation.
When I can get to sleep early enough I actually like early mornings too. I like my 7:30 start time for work but lately getting there on time has been hell. And now I'm leaving the house in the dark and that's just depressing.
@kayjay44 I don't mind if my kids hear me swear, either, because I personally think that sometimes swear words are the most appropriate (or fun) to use. I also don't mind if my kids swear. As long as they're aware of when they should and should not swear (school = probably not a place to swear lol). I will draw the line at derogatory terms, though (gay, retarded, etc).
I should add that I only like waking up early on the weekends. I hate waking up early for work. I like trail running, but road running is hard for me. It doesn't distract me like trail running does, so I end up just focusing on how uncomfortable I feel and end up walking or cutting my run short. I hate coffee, but I've embraced the South and now love iced tea.

My UO - I have no problem with swearing in front of my kids.

My UO, i hate coffee and tea. I don’t get how anyone can drink them. Coffee is so bitter tasting and tea just tastes like gross hot water.

I am also a morning person who is all about that early bed time.
