  • @texas_t what is bpp?
@maureenmce enjoy your time getting ready for LO! aside from the obvious financial implications, it sounds great to have some time to prepare!
@lippy625 yay my shower is sunday too! Hope yours is super fun!

    1. How far along are you? Any milestones?
31 today! we are in single digit weeks till go time!

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?
Not terrible, not great. Lifted a bunch of moderate weight stuff over the past few days with the move and it made me a little uncomfortable, but nothing huge.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?
I'm with @lippy625 on the whole "omg this is happening soon". And lots of house anxiety because it's in disarray, but hopefully I'll be feeling better after my mom and sister come help this weekend.

    4. Any appointment updates?
Nope, nothing until next week. I think it's just regular...I don't know if/when I have any more ultrasounds or anything. I am starting to meet with the other Drs in the practice who could do the delivery so that's interesting.

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
Slept 2 night in the new house! It's so weird because it's double the size of the old house and 3 floors instead of 1, so I feel like I'm walking sooooooo far if i forget something downstairs or if I need to go to the bathroom (in basement and 2nd floor) or something. Plus I can't hear H from anywhere in the house now and it is just weird!

    6. GTKY: If you had to live in the 1700s, what convenience would you miss most?
Oh man..... I think a warm shower. I really love a warm shower.
  • @texas_t Please try not to worry! I know I posted this elsewhere, but my son was measuring several weeks ahead and we were told that he was already over 9 lbs at a 37 or 38 week ultrasound. Well, he came out at 40+4 weighing 8 lbs 2 oz. It is possible that their measurements are off by some.
@maureenmce Enjoy the time off! I hope he switches positions soon!
@lippy625 Enjoy your weekend! It sounds like a fun one!
@morgantu Congratulations on being moved in! I am sure it will take some time to adjust to the size.

    1. How far along are you? Any milestones?
28+3, so I am waaayy past my milestone!

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?
I am just tired and sore. I feel like I move in slow motion, sometimes.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?
I am doing well. I do have fears about stillbirth. However, *TW* someone who I share mutual friends with lost her son to SIDS last week, which is making me more nervous about something like that happening,

    4. Any appointment updates?
I had my 28 week appointment on Monday. I got my flu shot and RhoGam injection. Other than that, it was uneventful. I go back in 2 weeks and I cannot believe I am far along enough for that, already!

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
It has been a great week! I am soaking up my days with just one child. Also, today it is finally starting to feel like fall and I am so glad!

    6. GTKY: If you had to live in the 1700s, what convenience would you miss most?
It is a toss up between indoor plumbing and a refrigerator/ freezer!
  • @katy0990 I was just thinking about the one child thing last night. We've all gotten into a groove and it's going to be so bizarre are to have wee little baby come throw us all off our game, lol!

  • @texas_t My husband and I had a moment the other night when we were talking about how independent he is now. Then, we both looked at each other and were like oh my gosh, we are starting over soon!
  • @texas_t Have a great shower!
@maureenmce I’m jealous about your ultrasound. My OB just poked and prodded my tum and discerned baby’s position that way - I can’t feel my way around like that at all.
@lippy625 I hope your blood pressure sorts itself out sooner than later
@morgantu Our move to Kansas was like that - charming single story home to three-level behemoth. If you’re as complainy as I am - get a lightweight vacuum ASAP :grimace:
@katy0990 Ugh, sorry your friend of a friend lost a babe to SIDS :bawling:

    1. How far along are you? Any milestones?
31+1, very far past the milestone!

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?
    Large. Good overall though.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?
Medium-low anxiety. Kiddo doesn't seem as active as he was yesterday, but he still wiggles often. I'm going to grab some water and a handful of granola here in a minute for good measure.

    4. Any appointment updates?
Had a good two-weeker yesterday! I gained four pounds in two weeks, but my OB isn't worried. It doesn't make sense to me that when I eat a ton of ice cream I barely gain, but when I stop treating myself and start eating better the scale changes. Maybe I really have tricked LO into thinking that yogurt IS ice cream (doubtful, but a fun thought regardless).

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever:
Not much, just worrying about if I will ever nest.

    6. GTKY: If you had to live in the 1700s, what convenience would you miss most?
    Pants, and autonomy.

  • 1. How far along are you? Any milestones?
    32w + 4d

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?
Ok, just huge, waddling around with aches & pains, heartburn. Not sleeping great.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?
Varies- Monday I was super close to heading to the hospital when she cooperated with the kick count finally. Wed she was active pretty frequent & I didn't worry. She hasn't been very active today. Going to have to sugar up & kick count after I get my son in bed here in a few.

    4. Any appointment updates?
Nothing this week. I have 3 next week! 2 with Perinatal Center Tue/TR & my biweekly with OB Fri.

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
Not much. Ordered my breast pump yesterday & a big brother baby journal for son to open at shower. My baby shower is Sat. I'm excited.

    6. GTKY: If you had to live in the 1700s, what convenience would you miss most?
I was going to say indoor plumbing, but might have to go with air conditioning like @texas_t, I am always hot!
