  I also want to make a mobile. I'm trying to decide between mountains and trees or stars, maybe I'll do both. Inspirations:
  
  
  And only semi-baby related, but I'm working on some quiet book pages for my daughter and nephew for Christmas as well.

  @pttomato can you share any directions you have to make a quiet book? I've always wanted to get one of those for DD and sounds like it could be a great Christmas gift for my nieces and nephews!

  I've been intermittently working on knitting this little old man sweater in a cobalt blue. So far I have half of a vest haha. There's a knitting group in my neighborhood that meets up once a month and this week they're meeting at a local ice cream shop so I might go to that as incentive to get more work done on it (and eat ice cream)

  I just made costumes for two of my cheerleaders for spirit week. They're Pooh and Piglet DS and I made canvases for the baby room as decoration I'm making "big brothersaurus" and "little brothersaurus" shirts for the boys to wear in the new baby's newborn pictures also!

  @pttomato the top mobile was my pinterest inspiration for the one my best friend made me. She changed some things around to make it more custom but I REALLY love that picture. If you make it, share pictures!

  @LeahNicole I taught myself to knit via YouTube! There are some awesome knitting tutorials on there. Very easy to follow. You can make a lot with a basic stitch.

  I’m working on some counted cross stitch. Originally the plan was to finish this one and then do 2 more of the same pattern with one in purple and the other is green and hang them above the crib. This taking forever though so maybe she’ll have all 3 in time for her toddler bed 😂

  Love all the beautiful crafts above! I'm a long time knitter and have made her two newborn hats that are machine washable. I hope to get started this weekend on a  silk/alpaca blend lace sweater with mother of pearl buttons that is my one very impractical keepsake item I'm making her.

  I cut the shape out of the cardboard box the crib shipped in! We traced my large mixing bowl for the head and the ears are my small mixing bowl.

  I made mobiles and a valance for the nursery our twins used two years ago, so just added to those and spruced them up a bit for this babe. We painted this room 4 years ago when it was the nursery for DS1, and I kind of love how all our stuff is being mixed and matched for this boy

  @LeahNicole if you want a class, check out your local Joann's. They offer all kinds of classes! 
  
  I found this sign for DDs and DSs room. We originally had plans for them to room share but looks like they won't be now, but it's still a cute sign.  The nursery is a teal color with starfish. For baby, we are adding blue and whales. DD has a teal "J"  so I made baby a blue "B".

  I finally started my one super impracticable keepsake baby knit. The yarn is a blend of silk and baby alpaca and I love the color. I have mother of pearl buttons to attach.
