Feeling pretty good!! Just tired, which I'll discuss below. No new symptoms.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary?

Rants: I thought we were through the worst of the molar sleep troubles because DS slept good last week. Then Friday night-Sunday night he slept TERRIBLE! Sunday he was up almost every hour from 11:30pm on. It was miserable. I was SO tired yesterday I was thankful I was off work and daycare was open. After DH left with DS I went back to bed and slept until 10:45am. Another rant.. I slept like crap last night simply because I was anticipating DS sleeping terrible and even though he wasn't waking up, I kept waking up anyway. I was going to go to the office today since I was off yesterday but decided against it.

Raves: DS only woke up once last night once I had gone to bed and DH got him back to sleep in like seconds.

Dear Diary: I started sorting through the baby's room yesterday. Oh how I wish I could post the before and after pictures here. It's a disaster, or it was. Now only half of it is. haha I worked on it for an hour, I wish I could have woken up earlier and gotten more done, but I was just so tired!! I got a nice corner of the room cleaned up, moved stuff that was mine to our room, started sorting through the clothes that this baby can rewear that DS had. I tried to do more last night but DS wanted to "help mama" and his idea of helping was pulling the clothes out of the bags, bless his heart.

Back to try to post pictures.

They posted out of order but the second picture is how bad it was and the third is how it looked when I was done. I still have the other side of the room to get through.

GTKY: Where did you meet your significant other?

We actually met at a Halloween party that my then best friend was hosting. It was the first weekend in November, since Halloween landed during a weekday. I laid eyes on him and said to her, "I am going to marry that guy one day." I didn't even know his name. Now here we are, 10+ years later. I've always said I don't believe in love at first sight, but if I did, he'd be it.

How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Just worn out. Back killing me badly at night where I only feel good on my side. And acid reflux is off the chain. Back to how I was with both boys needing reflux meds during the day and at 1 am daily. Ugh

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary?

Rave: Had fetal echo today and all looks perfect!

Question: Random one..I am highly allergic to all shedding animals, trees etc. But I allowed DH to get a real tree the past two years which I can handle for a little bit then I end up getting sick. Should I worry about the baby having possible allergies and having the tree in the house? Second question also random, I have a lot of hand me downs from my cousin who has cats - I'm highly allergic and so is my son. If I was the clothes I should we alright to let this baby wear them? Sounds so stupid asking these questions but just worry and don't want to waste my time washing stuff if it's a bad idea. Now furniture etc I would NEVER take from anyone with pets because I can't get rid of dander and wash etc.

GTKY: Where did you meet your significant other? He was the project manager building my parents house when I was home from college during the summer and was doing the final checks at my parents when we met. I saw him the rest of the summer but he didn't know I wasn't 21 yet so I would sneak out to go on dates with him Even got kicked out of a bar with my fake ID trying to meet up with him and his friends lol.

@AdorkablePixie love your how you met story Funny how things work out! Glad your little one is sleeping better. Nothing better than a day of with daycare being open! I need one of those days

We are now in Tropical Storm watch for Hurricane Michael. We're doing some prep work today. Lucky us lol. DH went to the dentist yesterday for a cleaning and he has to go back on Thursday for a crown. He was suppose to have it done the week hurricane Irma hit and now Hurricane Michael is going to be here. I guess he's just not meant to have to done.

GTKY: Where did you meet your significant other?

We met at our local community college remedial math class. We are both so bad at math it's not even funny. 12 yrs later here we are!

@mcgeeva I think the clothes will be fine as long as you wash them. I'd probably wash them at least twice, just to be safe. As far as the tree, I'm not sure about that.

Your story with you DH is so cute. How long after you met did he actually find out you weren't 21?

@AdorkablePixie Congratulations on all the progress! I am sorry about the sleepless nights, though.
@mcgeeva Personally, I love live Christmas trees, but I would not want to be sick from an allergic reaction while nine months pregnant or postpartum, so I would skip it this year. As for the clothes, I would wash them in vinegar and then again in baking soda and that should take care of any cat dander.
@gorgeousariel Good luck! I hope the hurricane slows down and avoids you altogether.

I feel like this pregnancy is going so fast! I am trying to enjoy our time as a family of three, but at the same time I am very excited to meet this little one. I have to admit though, part of me is dreading the newborn period again.

GTKY: Where did you meet your significant other?

A friend of mine gave me his number and we started texting back and forth. About a week later we made plans to meet for the first time at this friend’s house. As soon as he got there, my friend realized that she had given me number for a different guy with the same name, not throne she had intended to give me! It was definitely meant to be, because here we are 10 years later!

@AdorkablePixie honestly not until I went back to college and somewhere down the line of coming home to see him during breaks I turned 21. I was 19 when we met he was 24. So back then it was mostly dinner, house parties etc. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I remember now. My friend Betty had a house party and he brought a friend and clearly we were all young college kids and that's how he found out. It should of been the Eminem CD I left in his truck the summer we met would of been a good clue. God I'm old..who burns cds anymore??? Yet clearly didn't make much of a difference. Then again we didn't get serious until I graduated and moved back home.
katy0990 Definitely meant to be! Love these stories because I swear at this point in life everyone is getting divorced. As far as the tree goes, I'm too lazy to fluff a fake tree lol

GTKY: Where did you meet your significant other? We met through his next door neighbor, M, who was madly in love with me but I wanted nothing to do with him because he was not my type. He asked me out for months and months, I would always decline or tell him we could go as friends. We went to a party together as friends and M introduced me to his friend/neighbor and we instantly clicked.
His mother resented my husband for the longest time after that because she thought he ruined things between me and M. I guess he had her thinking we were dating! So awkward because she ended up at our wedding because M’s parents are still very close with my husbands Parents. Oh and M’s wedding date/now wife got black out drunk and threw up all down the back of my wedding dress

@katy0990 I definitely feel like the last few months have flown by, and I know the rest of the pregnancy will go by just as fast because of all the events and holidays coming up. And funny how things work out when/how they're supposed to!

@misscheapandchic I am with you! Definitely getting harder to get up! I hope the heat breaks for you soon.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 29+2, acorn squash supposedly, but I don't know any acorn squash that is 15 inches, so....? That seems so HUGE btw, doesn't it???

How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Feeling ok, just exhausted and over this cold. And heartburn is so awful. I just want to be able to eat AND sleep. Is that too much to ask for?

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? Seeing my old coworkers this weekend was nice. Good times!

Unfortunately, I found out today that my second favorite horse at the farm had to be put down. My favorite horse was put down just last year. It's so devastating, because in the work we do they really are like our coworkers, too. Heartbreaking.

GTKY: Where did you meet your significant other?

We met freshman year of college, we lived on the same floor. I had a crush on him instantly but it took him about 2 months to realize I wasn't just being extra nice. Dated all through college, survived some pretty unhappy times and mistakes, managed through long distance, and 15 years later we're pregnant and finally married. We've definitely had ups and downs, but it all made us that much stronger.

Baby girl is still head down and intermittently banging her head on my bladder & cervix. At least the pain isn’t so frequent as a fee weeks ago.

Last night I wound up with some contractions because I was so dehydrated. Thankfully they slowed down after about 2 L of water, and stopped overnight while I was sleeping. This is the third time I’ve had this happen in the past 9 weeks.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary?

Rant: yesterday was ridiculously bad. See Symptoms above.

Rave: MH is wonderful, in general and especially stepping up to do extra when I needed to rest last night. All the preggers hormones make me almost cry thinking about how much easier he makes the hard stuff.

GTKY: Where did you meet your significant other?

We met at a work event in a city neither of us lived in, kept in touch intermittently, and started dating a few months later when I was in his city on business. We got engaged a year later, never having lived in the same city. I knew I was going to marry him within a few weeks of dating, but I’m such a skeptic I needed more time to back up that feeling with data. But it’s true, we are a good match, still happy 12 years together, married 9.

@Katzalia That's crazy you all met in another town and took a chance on getting hitched. Love stories like this. I can't say I felt my husband was "the one" since he's the only white guy i ever dates lol. I only dated asian guys so it's the running joke with my husband to point out hot asian guys.

@scaredunprepared I am so sorry about the loss of your second favorite horse. That is so sad. I hate it when animals pass, it's so hard. I wish they could live forever, or at least as long as we do!! DH and I had our fair share of difficult times and mistakes when we were dating as well (I mean, he was still a teen when we met!), but what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

@Katzalia I'm glad the contractions stopped for you! That's so cool how you and your DH met and ended up getting engaged. Sounds like it was definitely meant to be.

@scaredunprepared I hear you on the heartburn! My OB prescribed me Zantac and it has helped! Also I sometimes take a shot of MyLanta at night.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? I’m worried my patience is running thin at work. I have to be a professional at all times so I’m a little concerned since I have 11 more weeks until my DD!

GTKY: Where did you meet your significant other? We met on Match.com! But we have so much in common I can’t believe how we didn’t meet in another way. That was 7 years ago. Married for 4 1/2 years and this is our second baby.

@Erinka Same here, and I deal with people outside of my office on the daily. It is SO HARD sometimes not to get an attitude with someone who is just a complete idiot. +1 to the shortness of breath.

Had growth scan today woop! Baby is head down, 3 pounds and measuring 6 days ahead. Means my ass needs to kick in high gear next month getting shit ready. Eeek. How big is everyone else's little one's measuring? I'm guessing this is it still she is born now. Just the normal apts now.
