I know it's a little early, but I'm impatient. Have you guys tried any old wives tales to predict the sex, yet? What have they said?

Do you have a "feeling" about what you may be having? Any dreams?

Do you plan on finding out?

Do you have a preference?

I know there was the ring test thread but figured this would be a good one to share other predictions we've tried!

I've gone through all of them 😂

Last time I thought it was a girl based on old wives tales, so obviously I know they're not accurate but it's still fun.

I'm super sick, vs just nauseous with my son. (Girl)

HR is 136 (boy) but son was 164.

Ring test says girl.

Chinese gender calendar says girl.

Craving sweets.

I have a feeling it's a girl. I don't particularly have a preference, I know I'll be excited either way, but having a girl would be new.

Gender ring teat says girl, chinese calendar says girl, i feel more nauseous then I did with my son. And i crave spaghetti and pasta like i did with my daughter.

I cant remember what the heart rate was though.

But all the wivestales where right with my son and so was the chinese calendar.

The ring test said girl, the heart rate was 174 (girl), not super sick (boy), Chinese gender predictor is girl. Craving sweets.

I dont have any strong feeling one way or the other as to which sex it is. Last time I felt so strongly it was a girl! Heart rate was high, AWFUL morning sickness, craved sweets...and it was a boy lol.

I definirely don't put any stock in the old wives tales. The ring prediction said I was having like 8+ kids, lol.

Also, it drives me batty when people smugly act like they know if someone is having a boy or girl by the way they carry. My friend was told by a stranger in the park that her ultrasound was wrong and that she was deinitely having a boy because she was high/low/whatever.

DH is hoping for a boy since we currently have two DDs, but I feel like it's a girl (as @DuchessOfCambridge said in another thread, with about 50% certainty).

Ring test said girl. Chinese predictor chart says boy. I have a tiny torso so I don't carry in a way anyone can say is high or low, it's just out, out, out there! I keep having dreams of girls and girl clothing. I crave sweets one day and salty the next = no idea? I'm super moody = girl. I don't have acne = boy. I've done the pendulum test which has said boy twice and girl three times. So hmmm....either I'm having boy/girl twins or I'm having a transgender baby or a hermaphrodite. Whatever babe will be, I won't know until May! Team green! I do have a US on Tuesday, but I'm pretty sure I'll just see a singleton in there.

The Chinese gender chart says girl. The ring test said twin girls. No intuition on the sex. Before I had kids I always thought I would have 3 daughters. DH is hoping for a boy this time bc we have 2 daughters already, but I have no preference. We’ll find out at the anatomy scan. 😊

Ring test says girl. Chinese chart says girl. I'm pretty sure it's a girl. We'll find out at the anatomy scan, I could never convince my husband to be surprised. A girl would be easier (cheaper) at this point, since DD is 2 and I neatly saved all her things as she outgrew them. But I'd like to have a boy at some point too.

Chinese gender chart says girl. Ring test said boy. I'm craving salty things, so boy. But I'm super nauseous all day long, so girl.

In terms of my last pregnancies, this one feels similar, just maybe a touch more intense. But, I think I always wipe out the first ten weeks or so from my memory and, once I have my first appointment and get my hands on some nausea medication, things will be much improved.

I'm not sure if I have a preference... on one hand, I would love to round out our family with a third girl. Having a house full of girls would be kind of awesome! On the other hand, I think it would be good to add a boy into the mix.

Ring theory says girl. Chinese gender chart says boy. Craving salty - boy. Morning sickness - girl. No pregnancy glow - girl. Heart rate 165 - girl.

50/50 chance its a girl!

We will find out at the 20 week scan.
I don't really have a preference, but I know DD would love a sister, so for her sake I'm rooting for a girl.

Feet: Boy (granted, it’s now fall and has been in the 20s at night)

So basically, I think I’m having a girl! 😂

I'm pretty sure I got pregnant on my birthday so I'm not sure if the Mayan/Chinese calendars can be accurate for me! But otherwise, I LOVE old wives tales. They're fun and harmless.

Last time for DD, all signs pointed towards a girl. DH and I also both had dreams we were having a girl, and neither of us were surprised at our 20 week ultrasound.

This time around, all signs seem to point towards a boy, and DH and I once again are having dreams, but this time it's a boy. Finding out very soon with genetic testing. I won't be surprised if it's a boy but I also won't be surprised if we're totally wrong! It's a win win either way.

Also, I think I mentioned this in a randoms thread a while back, but my sister and I saw a psychic (something we've never done before) the night of my first appointment, which was unplanned. The psychic knew that I saw the baby's heartbeat earlier in the day, and said she saw BLUE balloons. We'll see!

Have you guys tried any old wives tales to predict the sex, yet? What have they said? Mayan and Chinese Predictors say boy. I've had a lot of the same symptoms as my last pregnancy with DD (breakouts, sugar cravings), but not sure that's enough to call it a predictor.

Do you have a "feeling" about what you may be having? Any dreams? DH and I both think it'll be a girl, obviously we have nothing to base that on. However, I will say that for every single pregnancy I've ever guessed, I've been wrong (I thought my best friend was having a boy, she had a girl. I thought FOR SURE another close friend would have a girl, she had a boy). So, maybe this IS a boy.

Do you plan on finding out? Yes. I tried to say I'd hold off but that's probably not realistic.

Do you have a preference? Nope, just would love a healthy, happy baby.

The ring test and Chinese calendar say girl. Not much morning sickness or breaking out, so that points to boy. Definitely been so moody which according to @mrskoz428’s chart means girl.

This pregnancy has definitely been a lot different than my pregnancy with DS, so it makes me think it would be a girl, but I know that’s not an accurate indicator. We’ll find out because I’m way too impatient to be team green. I’ve got things to monogram (boy or girl)! 😂

For the fun of guessing, I’m guessing girl. We’d be happy with either, and after a short NICU stay for DS, all I honestly care about is a healthy baby.

@peachy13 My date of conception was either August 12 or August 14. My birthday is August 18. So depending on how long it took to fertilize and implant, I was either 23 or 24. Chinese calendar says girl either way, Mayan calendar says boy if I was 23, girl if I was 24. 🤷🏽‍♀️
