Well, we have @halfanewt and @Klyn7 with babies coming soon! @halfanewt Glad you decided to start your ML! I hope things are progressing well with baby and you're able to get everything set up the way you want for your ML. And keeping FX for @wildrainbow that your LO will stay put for a little while longer!

How far along? EDD?
31 weeks 2 days. Baby bean's EDD is exactly 2 months from today! Wow!

How is everyone feeling this week?
Eh. For some reason, acid reflux hit me this weekend out of the blue! I haven't had any problems throughout the entire pregnancy, but this weekend was brutal. It didn't seem to matter what I ate or what position I tried to relax in. I hate that burning feeling in my throat. Other than that, things have been pretty calm.

Any upcoming appointments?
Had a regular appt last Thursday and everything looked fine. I got my TDAP shot, too. Next appt is next Thursday. Still need to get my flu shot

GTKY: Any big/exciting October plans?
We have our 2-session birthing class this month - hooray! I'm mostly excited to finally get a tour of the maternity ward where I'll be delivering. The first class is next Tuesday night - I can't wait! We've also got some other stuff planned, like a trip to Letchworth for the long weekend and our maternity photo shoot. Plus my shower and Halloween of course! It's going to be a busy month!

Third trimester heart burn was no joke. It did not matter what I ate or didn't eat or if I ate at all....almost constant heartburn and acid reflux. It got almost unbearable if I ate pizza or something spicy. The doctor said I could try to drink some milk to see if that calmed the acid down, but he said not to take anti-acids. I mostly just toughed it out...

@mbradfo2 Oh no! That does not bode well for the last 8+ weeks! I will probably also just tough it out if it keeps up. Blah!

How is everyone feeling this week? I am ok, @mag1cbeli3ver I have the same problem with heartburn and reflux. I am taking zantak twice a day and that helps a bit but not much! I found that chocolate milk soothes it for a while. ( I hate regular milk and I used to be lactose intolerant in my pre-pragnacy life, lol)
Any upcoming appointments? Not this week! But I passed my 3hr glucose test with flying colors last week!
GTKY: Any big/exciting October plans? Nothing much, just looking forward to fall weather. It gets beautiful here in mn! I am also super excited about our nursery furniture getting here in 2-3 weeks! DH is going to paint the nursery this coming weekend as well! It took us 3 trips to home depot anda8 paint samples to choose the color! And my craziness took over and I now have a color coded Excel spreadsheet with all the baby stuff we will need! That's a lot of stuff!

Hi ladies! Looks like I go here now

Happy to finally be here after 7 IVF cycles (4 of which were fruitless with respect to PGS normals), two losses (today’s actually the second anniversary of our first one), and two transfers. Pregnant with a little girl due 12/21. Just three days into my third tri, so so far so good!

How far along? EDD?

How is everyone feeling this week?

A little tired because we went to a (Sunday night) wedding last night, so I didn’t get to bed as early as I should have.

Any upcoming appointments?

None till 30 week scan on 10/11 (the day after my b-day) - but I guess that’s next week already!

GTKY: Any big/exciting October plans?

I suppose turning 41 is unavoidable...excited to be an avocado for Halloween, less excited about making the costume.

Hi guys. I'm heading into L&D right now. I've been having contractions all day, but the big thing is I haven't felt baby move in about 3.5 hours. So we are going to get checked and make sure all is well

Little Zane decided since it was now October, time to come out! Born this morning, 10/1 at 11:06am 20”, 7lbs 8.4oz!

Showed up at the hospital Sunday night with 5-1-1 contractions, 6cm dilated and 100% effaced. Everything was looking good, going med free, then for whatever reason the little guy decided to flip himself face up and try to come out nose first. Cue long labor, 5.5 hours of pushing and a quick vacuum assist, and there he was! His HR stayed steady the whole time - what a little trooper!

How is everyone feeling this week? Pretty good overall, just usual 3rd wear and tear

GTKY: Any big/exciting October plans? Other than my daughter's birthday on 10/30 and Halloween not a lot, I try and do as little as possible since its so hard for me to move around

@Joslynj11 I am home. Still having a few contractions, but nothing major. Mostly just a lot of pelvic pressure. I'm at my dr now for my appt and another on Thursday.

How is everyone feeling this week?

Since last week I’m having upper back pains. It’s much better in the last few days. But pain is still there.

I feel like a broken record, but GD is really bad. We keep increasing doses and numbers are still not great. Dinners and fasting numbers overnight are the worst for me.

Any upcoming appointments?

Nothing this week.

GTKY: Any big/exciting October plans?

Like @artemis618 I also have my bday in October. I’ll be 43 y/o... last year on my bday I had the WTF appt after the failure of my third PGS normal embryo. And this year I’ll be 34 weeks pregnant on my bday. such a better bday

@wildrainbow Glad to hear you're back home and still doing the 2 appts each week. I hope everything looked good when you went to L&D and that baby stays put for just a little while longer! Are still trying to get to the 22nd, or have things been moved up?

@artemis618 Welcome to the 3rd tri! A Sunday night wedding - interesting! I would be exhausted! 8:30-9 has become my bed time lately! And an avocado sounds so cute for Halloween!

@prudence9-2 I'd agree that this year is a much better birthday than last year! Glad you're here and that this journey is almost over! And sorry about the back pain. Hopefully it'll go away soon!

@mag1cbeli3ver Things have moved up, the latest I go will be the 15th. Since I'm so thinned out, my nurse speculates that I will go into labor before we schedule my RCS. She thinks it will be later this week/weekend. Next appt is Thursday. Should be interesting to see how my cervix looks then.

@prudence9-2 Baby was totally fine. He started moving as soon as they put the monitor on. Because he apparently wants the title of problem child.

@mag1cbeli3ver milk with ovaltine was my go-to heartburn cure for most of 3rd tri. Milk by itself worked alright, but something in the ovaaltine = magic

@wildrainbow I'm so glad everything turned out ok. Good luck with everything. Can you remind me again why they are inducing you early? Sorry, I should know this but you know how the pregnancy memory is, I cant remember what I ate yesterday!

Heartburn hit me very badly last weekend too. I have a magic solution and it really helps. Not sure if any of you tried but try steeping 1-2 teaspoon of fennel seed in freshly boiled 8 ounce of water. Drink it up and eat the seeds too.

How is everyone feeling this week? Overall so much better than before. My hip pain is managable and baby turned head down (I think!) bc I feel kicks around my belly button now and its so much more comfortable. As I mentioned heartburn crippled me for a couple of days but it went away, so yay! Now, I hope my natural treatment of UTI is also working. I will test again next week and see if I still the antibiotics.
Any upcoming appointments? Tomorrow with the high risk doctor. He will do the growth scan and chcek the growth of the fibroid. I'm sure he will be angry with me not taking the antibiotic and will give me a whole speech but we shall see.
GTKY: Any big/exciting October plans? Started to buy more stuff for the baby. I already had one compnay wide baby shower and my team will be throwing another one soon. I also have my own shower the following sunday. So, I'm super excited!

***lurking....Yay @llky thrilled ur doing so well!!! Wonderful finding natural remedies! I was terrified to take anything during my pregnancy not even Tylenol even though they say it is OK! I had shingles end of first trimester and didn’t want to take a thing! Spoke with 3 different dr including high risk and gave in to taking them...thank Gd she is fine after the fact. I was terrified taking the meds. I will say my heartburn was unbearable since day one and had to live on tums and take meds for it. I’m still on the meds after pregnancy as I’m still having the issue hoping it’ll eventually go away as I never had it so bad before. @mbradfo2 can’t believe ur dr said to stay away from the tums!

@Ilky I have Cholestatsis of Pregnancy (ICP). Because of this, and my previous pregnancy, my dr isn't letting me go past 36 weeks. My liver enzymes tend to spike suddenly. I will have a RCS, as induction can potentially be dangerous due to the liver issue. This time, my body seems to want to go into labor naturally, so this babe may be born by the weekend or the beginning of next week.

@halfanewt. Congratulations!!! So happy to hear your little one arrived safe and sound!!!

Did you ever get your nb prefolds + covers or all in ones? I think I told you, I used the hospital diapers until day 7 when we started running out, and by that time, I was home and starting to settle in enough that I was happy to add another thing into the mix. ;) let me know how it goes!

@Ilky Breastfeeding is still a hassle mostly because my boobs just want make enough milk so I have to supplement

fed baby is best I know but the fact that my LO likes to be attached to it makes it tougher. I’m enjoying it all, even when I can’t see straight,

I’m still in awe that she’s even here!! Wishing continued wishing you continued success on ur journey!! Hoping you have a unicorn baby that likes to sleep! Not like mine who already has FOMO
