We already have a thread for when our partners mess up, but most of the time they're actually pretty great, right? That's why we're with them in the first place! Please share stories about why your partner is the most incredible partner ever!

This thread is a nice reminder...
Well yesterday he put her down for her nap. She was talking and playing and bouncing around her crib for a half hour. Then she started crying so I went in there to see what she needed and she wanted out. I said no it’s time for nap and she flipped out crying (bc she was overtired at that point). I tried to console her but nothing worked and I left in a huff. My husband said let me see what I can do. Then not 5 min later he is back out of her room and she is asleep! I asked what he did, said he rocked her and then laid her down and rubbed her back and she was out. I was blown away. She never settles back down like that with me.
This is just one of many examples where he steps in when I feel overwhelmed and frustrated and somehow just knows what to do to make things ok again. He is such an awesome dad and partner and I’m feeling so lucky to have him.
