Any appointments? Questions?: Seeing the OB this Friday. Believe its just a quick monthly check.

Rants/Raves?: My dreams are getting crazier. Last night I dreamed we were told we were going to lose the baby. I think it was triggered when I was going thru old phone photos and saw HPT's from my CP 2 years ago.

How are you feeling?: Overall pretty good. Round ligament pain was pretty annoying this weekend. I sneezed once and it felt like someone stabbed me. Luckily, that was a one time deal!

GTKY: What is something you hope your child(ren) inherit from you? Hope she gets my creativity and love for animals.

  • @sejica Is the move almost over? Hopefully you didn't have to move too far! I can't even imagine trying to move pregnant.

@purpleteacher82 Awe hope the rest of your week goes better!! I'm the opposite, MH use to travel all the time and now he's always home. Now I get excited the 1 time a month he does travel so can take advantage of "me time". Just think of this time as one that you can eat and do what you want this week! :)

  • @HoneyBear40 I'll say a little prayer for you this weekend! I'm still dumbfounded by it all on your behalf, but glad you are in good spirits about it. Safe travels!

@litzi-2  Ouch! FX for a good ultrasound today!! I take it you are at a high risk doctor now? Good news, you'll get more ultrasounds and be extra monitored! :) My dr is planning on referring my to one of those, but on the fence now if need it anymore.

  • Due date: 3.28

Any appointments? Questions?: Not for 3 more weeks...

Rants/Raves?: Work is a nonstop rant so I will spare you. Rave: My DD insists on cosleeping. Well, she is suddenly scared & convinced that there are monsters in my room, so DH slept with her downstairs on the pullout couch last night. I got the whole entire bed all to myself last night, hooray!

How are you feeling?: Blech, meh, are we there yet?

GTKY: What is something you hope your child(ren) inherit from you? Open-mindedness, a firm sense of self, willingness to adventure, and kindness/empathy for others.
  • This for ladies with 3/24-3/31 due dates

     Due date: March 24th.

Any appointments? Questions?: Next one October 22nd at 18 weeks. Will do an anatomy scan and find out sex!

Rants/Raves?: Round ligament pain can go die in a fire. My husband caught up all my laundry while I was on vacation and I just love him for it.

How are you feeling?: A bit more energetic, but still tired. Suddenly my uterus feels very present, if that makes any sense. I am just more aware of it growing. Haha.

GTKY: What is something you hope your child(ren) inherit from you? Like some of y'all said above, sense of self, confidence, ability to think critically, always wanting to learn.

Sorry to be in and out so much, I was on vacation and work just won't stop lately. Taking a break and eating my lunch right now.
  • @kristimh80 thank you! It looks normal today :) always a relief. i do see a high risk ob. Thats good news that they're not sure if you need to see one anymore, yes?
  • This for ladies with 3/24-3/31 due dates

     Due date: March 25th

Any appointments? Questions?: my anatomy scan in a couple weeks and a check up. Since I’m high risk I do my ultrasounds at the hospital so I get two apts in a week!

Rants/Raves?: rant: we have water damage to our condo and tomorrow we move to a hotel for two weeks. With a dog and a 3 year old...

rave: feeling baby move more and more! Also my pregnancy dreams have calmed down.

How are you feeling?: mostly pretty good. Tired some days, headaches some days. RLP sucks so bad lately for me too, and also in the uterus suddenly very present club.

GTKY: What is something you hope your child(ren) inherit from you?
responsibility. I made mostly good decisions as a teenager. I hope they inherit my good body image and self love I had too. I was a little cocky as a teenager but I’d take that over hating myself and all the sad things that come with that. I saw so many of my friends and classmates struggle and it breaks my heart still to remember that.
  • @kristimh80 Thanks! Now that he’s gone I’m fine. I normally LOVE my alone time! I’m not sure why I got so emotional about it. I’m blaming pregnancy!
  • This for ladies with 3/24-3/31 due dates

     Due date: 29

Any appointments? Questions?: October 10 is the next check.

Rants/Raves?: We’re moving apartments in a few weeks! But that means packing and getting rid of stuff, which I never enjoy.

How are you feeling?: Generally good. I feel like I have a lot more energy. I’m no longer taking 2 hour naps after work. I’ve had some pains in my uterus and pelvic area, but nothing too bad. I still get headaches like every other day.

GTKY: What is something you hope your child(ren) inherit from you? My curly hair.
  • @kristimh80 if we're lucky we'll be in the new house full time before the end of the year. It's a mixed blessing to be able to stretch it out. We've been able to work there before there's so much furniture to dance around and we'll be able to work here after we take all the furniture out. But, it also feels never-ending. We are just moving a few miles away and we get 2 more bedrooms and 1.5 more bathrooms and about 2x as big a house in general out of it.

@diaphena welcome! And yes. Hip pain is a thing for me too. Also they seem wider already, and I keep bumping them on things.

  • @sejica That's wonderful that you can stretch it out and slowly get in there! But I get how it can be a never-ending task! My mom is moving across country to be close to us. I have to go out to drive my 80 yr old grandma 16 hours...I'm already dreading that. I wish it was the 2 miles you have lol

Any appointments? Questions?: no appts for awhile. Anybody else still rather nauseous? I still get really nauseous at night, to the point where half the time I can't really eat dinner. Morning and afternoon are OK, but rounding into early evening I'm just done and don't want to see/smell/taste food.

Rants/Raves?: We rescued a new kitty and things are going a little rough. She's in isolation right now from our other cats. She's rightfully terrified (she was in a scuffle with another cat a couple days ago) and she's hissing whenever she catches a glimpse of our other cats. Now the new kitty thinks ALL cats are out to get her instead of that one kitty being a jerk. :( I'm jumping between rooms all day trying to give everyone attention. Thank goodness one of us has been sleeping with the newbie so there's a place to lay down in the other room. Naps have been essential right now.

How are you feeling?: Aside from the above nausea, rather OK. Trying to adjust my sleep position right now, which is a little difficult. Flat on my back is starting to feel weird and while I don't really think I have a bump yet, I feel too much pressure to sleep on my stomach. Trying to half back/side sleep with pillows and still have some kinks in my pillow arrangement to work out.

GTKY: What is something you hope your child(ren) inherit from you? I hope they'll get my compassion for animals (especially cats) and some musical ability. I played flute and piano for quite awhile and I'd love it if my son was musically inclined.

  • @sejica - I'm so jealous you practically have the new nursery painted! I'm dying to start nesting in there but it's the room we'll need LAST so we've been trying to work on/finalize the other rooms.

@purpleteacher82 - FX for speedy panorama results!!

@kristimh80 - wow, what an awful dream! I'm glad you could identify its likely trigger but so not cool!

@HoneyBear40 - good luck with the wedding and trip this weekend! Hope everything goes off with a minimum of hitches!

@litzi-2 - I love your inheritance wish! especially for kids, this is so important and can be harder to cultivate as parents with all the external pressures.

@diaphena - FTM here too, but I'm definitely having some hip pain. Mine are both tight in spots and feel loose in other areas.

@keikilove - YAY for a bed to yourself! that is the BEST!! Undisturbed pillow forts!

  • @catlady2015 Sorry you're still dealing with nausea! Your poor kitty! My older dog was like that with the younger one when we first brought him home. I also slept a couple of nights in the guest bed with the puppy until the other dog decided it was ok to have a friend. Jealous of your naps!

  • @catlady2015 My nausea is much more mild, but I still definitely feel it, more in the evenings. i try to eat a bigger lunch so i don't have to worry about dinner. and the sleep... ugh. i can't get comfortable either. Good luck with the kitty! We thought about another addition, but are too scared to do it! We'll stick with the 1 dog/1cat thing for now, I think (hope...).
  • This is actually the question/post from the MAY 2019 group because I have total pregnancy brain and posted in the wrong group!  So.....

    Due date/W+D: March 25, 15+1

Baby is the size of a(n): Eggo Waffle!

Any appointments? Questions?: I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon, with the nurse practitioner.  Not thrilled that I have to see her and not my doctor.  I know all about the "group practice thing" but I'm a special case and not everyone can handle it.  I just don't know what to expect from it.

Rants/Raves?: RANT:  I'm FURIOUS with my doctor's office right now.  I love my doctor but she's only there 2-3 Tuesday's a month.  With that being said, if I need something someone else in the office follows up unless she is available.  So....I've had three things now that have happened.

    1. I called almost 2 weeks ago due to bleeding with EVERY bowel movement.  The message was sent to the NP since it was the middle of the week.  She responded the next afternoon with information to alleviate constipation.  I have a history of ibs with diarrhea, never have I ever had constipation issues and she never addressed the "vaginal" bleeding!  The message was sent back again High Priority and I've never heard back.

    2. My doctor has been in the office twice now and no one even told her that I had called and had concerns.  My second call was last Friday due to a migraine that landed me in the ER on Sunday evening.  Again, never heard back from anyone.

    3.  I had my NIPT drawn on 9/4, on 9/11 Natera's website stated that it needed to be redrawn due to an invalid sample.  The office didn't call me back regarding this until 9/17.  Went in that day to redraw and wait again.  I have not received a phone call regarding my results yet.  Now...I work for the same hospital as my doctor so I have access to my internal chart...I see exactly what happens with my record and when it happens.  With that being said, I opened my chart this morning to find that my office received my results Friday 9/28 at 9am and never followed up with me.  I read my results on my own!

RAVE: My NIPT results came back as Low Risk for everything!  The fetal factor was 9.5% which seems pretty good from my research.  Also, I'm having a GIRL!

How are you feeling?: Exhausted still.  ALL.THE.TIME.  Also having a ton of RLP or what I think is that.  All lower abdomen and it's driving me nuts, I'm so uncomfortable.

GTKY: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cheese!

@catlady2015 I’m still nauseous at night too, usually when I get into bed. Then I can’t sleep for a couple hours. It’s horrible sorry you’re still going through it too.

@violetmarie61516 You should be SO pissed! Where is your doctor when she’s not at your practice? Can you switch to wherever she is most of the time? You don’t want to deal with that unprofessionalism for the next 5-6 months.

And CONGRATS on the healthy baby girl!
  • @keikilove - I'm sorry you're still experiencing this too!! It really really needs to go away ....

  • @violetmarie61516 So sorry you're having to deal with all of that! I know you love your doctor, but it maybe worth considering looking into another practice. They are ignoring and not responding to very important things concerning your health. Seems like it would be ideal to leave sooner than later with a practice that has your best interested at heart. But that's just my 2 cents. Your health should be their priority.

  • @violetmarie61516  I've been having vaginal bleeding with BMs too. They weren't too worried about that in particular either, but since I have cervix issues that get monitored they did another cervical ultrasound, which turned out normal. And same here with the test results. I even called and they told me they were NOT in, when they were. I don't know what's up with that. Is your OB really only in clinic 2-3 days per month? I only see one provider too, and its a pain. I see others for more urgent things, but usually go in knowing what I'd like out of the visit. Kind of helps.
  • @litzi-2 yes, she's in the office about maybe 3-4 times a month. She does administrative duties at the main hospital and also rounds in surgery.  Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the bleeding. Honestly I haven't gotten an answer yet.  My appointment today was pointless. I see my own doctor again on the 23rd.  Unfortunately because of my history, I don't have much of a choice of different offices to go to.

  • Hey Ladies! Sorry I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks. I was at a work conference for a week and then visiting my husband out of state (no electricity which was quite an experience for a week).

    Due date: March 26

Any appointments? Questions?: No appointments this week. My next appointment is October 12 but is just a quick check-in. Question - Anyone had any luck relieving hip pain when sleeping? It seems like getting a pregnancy pillow helps for the upper hip when you are sleeping on your side, but my lower hip is constantly bothering me...does a pregnancy pillow help with this too? Or any suggestions?

Rants/Raves?: Got to see my husband last week so I loved that, but definitely cried when I had to leave...definitely have been more emotional than usual. Also had two weeks off work which was glorious! I of course had a list of things to do and barely got any of them done but it has been a good break.

How are you feeling?: I've been feeling pretty good except for the hip pain difficulties when trying to sleep.

GTKY: What is something you hope your child(ren) inherit from you? My compassion and understanding towards others. Being accepting of other peoples differences and embracing the person for who they are.
  • @blueberry0326 i have to use a 3-4" foam topper on the bed when i'm pregnant, only thing that helps. 4" is better for me.
  •  Due date: March 29

Any appointments? Questions?: Not until next Friday.

Rants/Raves?: I am struggling with not getting a fetal doppler. I know that very soon I will be able to feel baby regularly but I find myself so worried at times.

How are you feeling?: Less nauseous but I still am throwing up at times. My coccyx is also very sore despite going to the chiropractor.

GTKY: What is something you hope your child(ren) inherit from you? I'm hoping I get 1 redhead.

  • @Bonnesetter27 Don't beat yourself over the doppler. My doctor used one on me Friday at my check-up and found the baby right away. But when I do it, some days I can find it, others I get so annoyed and throw it back into the drawer! I'm sure Friday's appointment will ease your mind and make things better :)
